Job Summary:
Frank Productions, LLC is looking for Security Guards to join our team part-time in the Columbia, MO area. Positions are open at the Rose Music Hall and Blue Note venues. The ideal candidate will have security or venue experience. Title and pay will be commensurate with experience. Frank Productions was established in Madison, WI in 1964 and is one of the largest concert promotion companies in the United States. We're a full-service concert promotion company involved in every facet of live entertainment events. This includes talent buying, production, ticketing, marketing, sponsorships, venue operations and more. We produce and promote events in arenas, performing arts centers, theaters, clubs and other venues across the U.S. We operate offices and venues in Madison, WI, Nashville, TN, Columbia, MO and Charleston, SC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for patrons
Maintain and oversee operations for entry into the venue
Identify any issues or threats within the venue and report concerns to venue management
Communicate clearly with staff and patrons
Follow company protocol as communicated by venue management
All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Applicable experience working security or in a bar or venue environment
Ability to trouble-shoot; solve problems independently and proactively
Must be able to perform duties for 8+ hours while walking and standing, including climbing flights of stairs
Ability to perform physical labor in order to satisfy job responsibilities, including bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting as necessary
Must be able to lift or move up to 150 pounds using proper lifting techniques, as necessary
Possess leadership qualities based on teamwork
Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner
Pleasant and friendly disposition
Ability to adapt quickly to changes and provide quality deliverables
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Background check required
