The Capital Markets Strategy & Initiatives Manager role will drive a range of initiatives across technology, analytics, strategy development and business management to support a business which generates ~$1bn per year in revenue and executes over $2 trillion in trading volume.
This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives and/or processes aligned to priorities within a functional area and/or business. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.
Responsibilities:
The Capital Markets Strategy & Initiatives Manager role will drive a range of initiatives across technology, analytics, strategy development and business management to support a business which generates ~$1bn per year in revenue and executes over $2 trillion in trading volume.
More specifically, this role is responsible for the following:
Driving Technology Initiatives : Drive technology initiatives forward, including ability to define requirements through working with business partners, and communicate those requirements to Technology. Manage complex technology projects across a number of stakeholders, including LOB, Technology, and control partners
Business Management across Capital Markets : Develop executive reporting and create metrics that provide insight into business performance and market trends. Manage the data and information across the multiple business lines to create to create the right level of messaging for multiple audiences. Manage team wide analysis initiatives for Employee Engagement and D&I related matters
Framing Strategic Priorities & Driving Execution : Develop strategic decks and adhoc analyses for senior executives that articulate the Capital Markets priorities and path towards implementation. Manage projects and execute on key deliverables that require working with various stakeholders and partners
Enhance Capital Markets Analytical Platform : Partner with existing Platform and Product team to build out analytics tools and continue modernizing the platform through leveraging and improving our data infrastructure. Enhance the development of core business metrics through enterprise tools and processes to achieve necessary scale.
Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners. Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives.
Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business.
Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes. Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives.
Qualifications/Desired Skills:
8 years+ of business experience within financial services, and/or strategy consulting, ideally with experience in technology
General knowledge and interest in Capital Markets and/or wealth management
Ability to drive and manage technology projects, ideally with some background / experience in Agile
Superior ability to build effective PowerPoint slides with visualizations to explain complex topics to a range of different audiences
Strong verbal communication skills and desire to partner with multiple stakeholders
Ability to identify trends and make connections among multiple data sets
Expertise in developing analytics and working with data sets to draw out conclusions and business insights
Resourcefulness and ability to adapt to situations with unknowns, but still be able to drive progress
Strong project management skills and ability to lead and organize long-term, complex initiatives across a number of stakeholders
Ideally, the candidate will have exceptional PowerPoint skills, as well as strong working knowledge of data / analytics tools such as SQL, R or Python.

Pay range
$137,700.00 - $192,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
