Screen Rant has long been an essential voice in the discourse around superhero movies, and now we're taking it to the next level. We're looking for a Superhero Senior Editor to oversee our expanding Marvel and DC movie content.
Responsibilities:
Oversee expansion of superhero content across the SR site.
Build and manage a dedicated team of Marvel and DC experts to cover a full range of superhero topics, from latest movie/TV releases to beloved classics.
Edit and write superhero content.
Develop content plans for new and evergreen titles.
Work with writers and editors to develop their skills and help them adapt to Screen Rant's standards.
Produce weekly reports and attend team meetings.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in an editing role (digital publications, entertainment content)
Expert-level knowledge of Marvel/DC movies, their history and their fandoms.
Robust understanding of SEO.
Experience with performance analytics tools.
Proven track record of growing a team, expanding coverage, and driving traffic.
Image editing experience a plus
