Please review the following job description:

Support process improvement initiatives and their leads. Gather process requirements and provide operational/analytical support for team leaders. May identify or assist in identifying gaps and efficiency opportunities and may make recommendations based on analysis. Interact with business SMEs to ascertain information and details in support of research and evaluations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide business process-based solutions to complex problems.

  2. Implement a data collection plan in support of work led by senior teammates

  3. Assist with providing process improvement recommendations based on analysis of process maps, data collection, and root cause analysis

  4. Work with project teams, lines of business and other IT resources to analyze and develop solutions to satisfy business needs.

  5. Schedule meetings, document outcomes and facilitate design sessions

  6. Document process mapping sessions, including ensuring documentation accurately reflects process owner discussion

  7. Create procedures and other related documentation (the role is not only about process definition/process mapping but rather entails producing other applicable artifacts)

  8. Prioritizes responsibilities to balance initiatives and deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or Information Technology-related field, or equivalent education and related training

  2. Five to ten years of experience in analysis and design

  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  4. Exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills - ability to generate actionable insight and recommendations from complex analytics and large datasets

  5. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team

  6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt

  2. Quality/process improvement-related designation.

  3. Solid understanding of program and project management disciplines, techniques and approaches.

  4. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

Visual / Audio / Speaking

Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.

Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding

Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.

Availability

Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
