POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate 2 is responsible for facilitating multiple aspects of material handling and warehousing as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Operate propane powered industrial sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, battery powered pallet jacks and various packaging equipment
Facilitate receiving, handling, and shipping of sales, distribution, and service orders using computer based inventory handling software, forklifts, pallet jacks, battery powered pallet jacks, and various packaging equipment
Perform and document scheduled checks of facility and inventory as directed by department senior personnel and/or supervisor
Assist with implementation and maintenance of Continuous Improvement 5S and Lean activities to improve flow and reduce waste
Investigate errors for root cause determination of issues and errors
Facilitate above processes and procedures while maintaining measurable and productive output

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience:
4 plus years of experience in material handling and inventory: Required
Ability to safely and productively operate various material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, battery powered pallet jacks, etc.: Required
Computer Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software with emphasis on computer based inventory management: Preferred
Certifications & Licenses:
Valid Driver's License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standard
Required to maintain material handling certification throughout employment (i.e. forklift operators certificate)
