Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Stone Distribution Center Manager to join our TEAM! As the Stone Distribution Center Manager, we need someone who is ready to direct and coordinate all warehouse operations and office to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations and maximize profits.

Primary Objective:

Directs and coordinates all warehouse operations & office to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations and maximize profits.

Major Function and Scope:

  • Order, receive and inspect products for supporting Stone Centers and manage safe, efficient storage and distribution.

  • Partners with Daltile Planning Department, Transportation Department and Supporting Stone Centers.

  • Coordinates and schedules work for all shifts and functions of the warehouse including LTL, receiving, picking, and shipping.

  • Coordinates and schedules work for all shifts and functions of the CSR department including purchase orders, imports, customs, invoicing, and returns.

  • Identifies process improvements and provides solutions and recommendations for resolution.

  • Ensures attainment of expected productivity levels and KPI performance.

  • Manages and provides direction to all staff.

  • Directs the coordination of all material handling equipment repairs.

  • Implements strategic planning of long-term goals, personnel development, and business objectives.

  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels and suggests organizational structure changes as needed

  • Maintains and analyzes budgets, records, and other controls to keep costs at a minimum consistent with efficient operations.

  • Analyzes and reviews financial performance of the facility and identifies areas of improvement.

  • Ensures compliance with all Safety, Quality and Governmental requirements.

  • Ensures safe and healthful working conditions and an organized work environment.

  • Coaches and reviews performance of direct reports.

  • Supports company affirmative action plans and goals.

  • Analyzes and executes strategies to maximize PPV.

  • Performs other assigned duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Requires 8 or more years' experience in distribution environment with at least 5 years previous management experience.

  • Experience in dealing with multiple levels of management and with resolving customer issues.

Competencies:

  • Core competencies include strong communication and interpersonal skills, listening skills, organization, data analysis and interpretation. Strong leadership skills. Ability to plan, schedule, relate ideas, and coordinate priorities. Good computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentations.
