Job Description

Cracker Barrel is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join the Corporate Recruiting Team at the Home Office! This individual will be responsible for managing full life cycle recruiting function for Home Office positions. This will be achieved through sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing and handling candidate selection from both internal and external sources. Our ideal candidate has a strong sourcing background, IT recruiting knowledge, and is passionate about delivering an awesome candidate experience!

  • Consults with hiring managers to determine applicant profile needs/requirements and to determine future staffing needs. Focuses on professional and manager level job openings.

  • Source qualified applicants through internal and external sourcing platforms, professional websites, social media, etc to identify qualified candidates. Reach out to qualified candidates to generate interest and applicants to open positions.

  • Develop deep understanding of key business areas to identify critical and hot skills used to recruit candidates.

  • Schedules panel interviews, compiles applicant information, and prepares candidates for interviewing with hiring managers. Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback meetings.

  • Interviews and assesses applicants for positions using phone screenings, structured panel interviews, aptitude and ability tests. Analyzes applications and resumes based on education level, experience level, organizational fit, salary range, projected growth and overall people plan.

  • Recommends candidates to for advancement in the hiring process based on interview assessments and job qualifications.

  • Builds working relationships with peers, hiring managers, and in the community for future talent acquisitions. Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified applicants. Utilize creative recruitment methods such as, business networking, social media recruiting etc.

  • Recommend starting base pay offers. Partner with the compensation team on complicated offers. Generate offer letters and present to candidates.

  • Bachelors degree required

  • 2-4 years specialized recruiting at multiple levels and functions including IT and manager level positions. Knowledge in restaurant, retail or hospitality industry preferred.

  • Experience sourcing candidates using a variety of recruiting tools (LinkedinRecruiter, Indeed, Monster, Career Builder, etc.)

  • Strong communication (oral and written)

  • Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills

  • Advance knowledge with computers (Microsoft, emails, spreadsheets)

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS preferred)
