GENERAL FUNCTION
This role provides proposal and presentation support for EyeMed's Proposal Team for our sales and retention business. This role serves as a liaison to in-house printing and shipping vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment when required by RFP or Presentation. Works with the marketing department to ensure sufficient production materials. Leads centrally-managed Broker segment proposal intake process, proposal completion and additional broker-specific projects and tasks as needed.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
presentations according to brand guidelines and RFP requirements, including but not limited to:
Work with proposal writers to project manage all hard-copy production requirements for RFPs and Presentations
Act as the primary liaison with our in-house printing vendor to ensure on-time and quality deliverables
Communicate status and report on production milestones
Partner with Marketing Brand Team to track inventory of marketing collateral and supplies to ensure adequate levels are on hand at all times
Maintain and seek improvement opportunities for processes and procedures
Primary owner of centrally managed Broker segment RFPs, including but not limited to:
Manage the intake process of a select type of RFPs with timely responses
Utilize CRM system to track volume and RFP milestones
Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers on proposal strategy and customizations
Run GeoAccess reports and analyses to support proposal efforts and opportunities as they relate to network recommendations and positioning
Owns other identified marketing projects to support EyeMed's selling and retention efforts, including but not limited to:
Proposal writing and slide creation for additional custom RFPs and presentations
outside broker segment as needed
Additional marketing and project management projects to enhance RFP
deliverables/templates and efficiencies
Work with sales leaders on Broker-specific Requests for Information (RFI), special projects and tasks as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or 3 years business experience with sales support, communication, or marketing experience
1+ years experience writing business communications
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget
Computer and Word Processing Skills (Microsoft Office programs), including experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other business database and analytical tools
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong organizational/time & project management skills
Strong customer service focus
Proven marketing/communication or project management support experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of benefits industry
Knowledge of and/or brokerage industry experience
Strong technical writing experience; proposal writing experience
Demonstrates sense of urgency responding to clients
