Description
AWS is looking for an experienced Internal Content Manager to join our US Federal Strategy team. This role will be responsible for creating content, working with stakeholders, and writing copy for the intranet and other internal announcements about key business initiatives, operational changes, enablement, programs, awards, and events. This role will help develop messaging and implement execution plans that engage, inform, and educate a growing field sales organization. Using creative approaches, this role helps ensure the field sales organization is well-equipped with the content and knowledge of available resources to effectively sell AWS's current and new service offerings.
A successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of communications dynamics with the ability to synthesize field requirements and corporate resources to help implement a content and communications strategy. This role will work closely with cross-functional global stakeholders to centrally manage the internal content creation and distribution process.
Key job responsibilities
Execute content and implement communication plans to prioritize immediate content needs
Manage a content review and governance process to improve quality and consistency of content
Work with stakeholders to create, enhance, and promote intranet page and news content
Help maximize awareness of sales content among global sales teams
Establish and track email metrics and survey results to effectively measure impact and responses - and establish and implement best practices
Partner with existing content management teams to ensure content is timely, accurate, clear, and digestible
Support ad hoc special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of communications experience executing strategic and tactical communications plans with minimal supervision, working with senior stakeholders
5+ years of proven content development, curation, and distribution
Experience and working knowledge of Design software like Adobe Photoshop
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
BA/BS Degree required
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to manage content in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Successfully manage cross-functional relationships across various teams
Ability to effectively drive awareness, engagement, and satisfaction with published content
Strong writing skills
Bachelor's Degree in Communications
