Summary
Provides advanced preventative maintenance & repair support on equipment for the Statesboro ISO plant. This includes advanced mechanical and plant operations troubleshooting, working from blueprints and schematics as related to machine drives and conveying systems in a high volume production line environment.
Essential Duties
Provide advanced maintenance support and PM's of equipment for the Statesboro ISO Plant. This includes troubleshooting, working from blueprints and schematics as related to machine drives and conveying systems in a high production line environment.
Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner (includes documenting work performed in Maximo and closing out order).
Read instructions, blue prints and manuals, and use any meters, hand tools and shop equipment to perform the required job tasks.
Performs skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. May drywall and plaster, lay bricks, or repair plumbing fixtures.
Perform millwright work such as aligning a pump and motor, install sheaves, belts, align equipment, check for proper alignment and belt tension.
Troubleshoot, repair/replace power transmission, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Perform all phases of welding including MIG Rod. Work on pipe systems, which would involve repairing, modifying, and installing systems.
Troubleshoot process control ladder logic and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance assignments. Work with other members
of the maintenance department on mechanical and electrical projects, work orders and line calls.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical power trains, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, welding and assembly of parts and materials.
Working knowledge of 480v systems and their respective controls, ability to use and read a multimeter. Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix Controllers / RSLogix 5000.
Operate a manual mill and lathe.
Involved in planned and unplanned maintenance work and jobs for both daily and maintenance outages.
Provide on-the-spot, on-the-job equipment-related expertise and technical guidance.
Enhance communication and coordination between maintenance and other departments, especially the production department.
Provide input and feedback to the maintenance planner and storeroom personnel to refine/finalize labor, parts, priorities and methods.
Ensure safety, quality, timeliness, cost and thoroughness of work performed.
Responds as a First call-in contact for maintenance emergencies.
Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and 5S initiatives.
Provide a safe workplace through adherence to company safety policy, housekeeping
and defined standards of training. Stay in compliance with safety policies and procedures, conduct inspections of plant areas, and ensure deficiencies found are resolved or appropriately communicated.
Continue to grow, becoming well trained, involved, and committed to meeting
department expectations including following all safety requirements.

Under This Roof, We Require
High school diploma or GED.
3+ years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
Under This Roof, We Also Value
Industrial maintenance experience in high volume manufacturing operation, preferably continuous process.
Experience troubleshooting and repair of mechanical power trains, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, welding and assembly of parts and materials.
Industrial Maintenance Certification or Associate's degree.
A working knowledge of 480v systems and their respective controls, ability to use and read multimeter.
Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix Controllers / RSLogix 5000 Software a definite plus.
Ability to operate a manual mill and lathe.
NFPA 70e Certificate preferred.
Possesses advanced knowledge of mechanical and facilities repair and maintenance.
Must be able to read instructions, blue prints and manuals, and use any meters, hand tools and shop equipment to perform the required job tasks.
Must be able to perform millwright work such as aligning a pump and motor, install sheaves, belts, align equipment, check for proper alignment and belt tension.

Advanced knowledge of PLC systems including ability to troubleshoot process control ladder logic.
