CACI International Inc. has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a LAN Administrator Helpdesk position. Evaluates, recommends, installs and supports local area network (LAN) hardware and software. Installs hardware and software application programs on the LAN. Provides guidance to users in LAN Administration processes. Provides software and hardware familiarization with users. Coordinates third-party maintenance for network equipment, and troubleshoots problems with department users and department LAN administrators.
RESPONSIBILTIES:

Installs and configures new server and workstation computer systems and associated hardware and software components. Provides client consulting and training on the interfacing and use of the network facilities. Plans and coordinates computer network initiatives. Researches, evaluates, and recommends new computer network equipment and technologies. Collaborates with other technical staff and management in the testing of new software and network technologies. Devises solutions to operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment. Maintains timely and complete documentation of all daily and project work, using standard methods and procedures. Provides internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to application developers, computer operations, workstation support, company management and departmental clients. Keeps abreast of relevant technologies and maintains selected technical certifications. May review the work of others and be able to detect errors or needed modifications.
Clearance: Must have an active SECRET clearance /TS/SCI would be a plus.
Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience and Security + certification.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200 - 158,100 USD
