About This Opportunity Responsibilities EMPLOYER: 7-Eleven, Inc. JOB TITLE: Software Engineer LOCATION: Irving, TX DUTIES: Develop software and deliver innovative digital products through the creation of flexible and reliable applications. Ensure efficient execution of overall product delivery by prioritizing, planning, and tracking sprint progress, including development of shippable code. Actively engage in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence to overall roadmaps and architectural strategy. Collaborate and partner with engineers, domain architects, product leaders, stakeholders, and partners to drive execution of roadmap, negotiate changes in priorities and manage communication of impacts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Developers, Testers, User Experience (UX) Designers, to define, design, and ship new features. Work with SwiftUI, Swift, Cocoa Touch frameworks, as well as iOS and Objective-C programming language. Implement user interface (UI) using Storyboards, Auto Layouts, Table Views, Collection Views, Stack Views. Create custom TableViewCell for user interface. Work on Multiview applications, customizing navigation bars and tab bars. Work on local notifications. Fix bugs and improve application performance. Develop functional unit test cases using XCTestCase. Track events based on the user using Mixpanel analytics. Create reusable components which can be used across all the modules of the application. Attend demo meetings across the digital team to demonstrate the feature developed for the sprint. Conduct Manual Testing and participate in code reviews. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a software developer, software engineer, or a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience in software development using Swift and iOS. Experience therein to include 3 years of experience with Objective-C programming language. Experience therein to include 1 year of experience in Manual Testing. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, employer will accept a Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years of experience in software development using Swift and iOS. 3 years of experience with Objective-C programming language.
