Description
The Expeditionary Force Protection Program Analyst will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to government leaders. Support includes coordinating research and development projects, end-user requirements, and reviewing technical proposals. This position will be working in the area of Expeditionary Force Protection for an organization that rapidly identifies and develops capabilities to combat terrorism for the Department of Defense and the other Government organizations. The Expeditionary Force Protection team primarily focuses on Blast Effects and Mitigation; Screening, Observation, Detection, and Protection; Maritime Security; and Subterranean Warfare.
SAIC is seeking an individual with a strong interest in rapid technology development in support of military operations and combatting terrorism, and the ability to work in a fast pace, high demand team environment.
General Responsibilities:
Provide technical advice and assistance on assigned R&D project portfolio.
Ensure successful execution and delivery of multiple research and development projects.
Develop procurement packages resulting from Broad Agency Announcements and other vendor solicitations including Statements of Work, Technical Evaluations, Independent Cost Estimates, Contract Data Requirements Lists, etc.
Facilitate and manage an R&D portfolio at a programmatic level, in close coordination with a Government Program Manager.
Support operational planning, testing, system fielding, and sustainment efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
At least 5 years' experience in Project Management
At least 2 years' experience with government contracts in a research and development (RDT&E) environment
Other Skills Preferred:
5 years of experience in military operations in combat engineering or similar experience.
TS/SCI clearance
