Senior Manager, National Field Activation - Labcorp

Job Description

The Senior Manager, National Field Activation will play a pivotal role in propelling our growth and elevating our brand perception in local markets. In this role, you will establish yourself as a key partner supporting the orchestration of sales-centric strategic product introductions, integrated campaigns, scalable programs, and sales activation initiatives to fortify our local diagnostics divisional growth plans and achieve revenue targets.

Support strategic planning: Support proactive engagement in strategic planning, collaborating closely with divisional sales leaders and cross-functional marketing teams to formulate and set goals and growth strategies.

Optimize new product sales activation approach: Support a structured, consistent product introduction approach and expanded product roadmap to enable effective sales campaign planning and profitable growth.

Support our marketing sales communication and engagement strategy: Support Labcorp's vision and business priorities to our Diagnostics commercial audience.

Drive scalable sales activation programs: Develop and lead scalable, integrated sales activation marketing programs to drive lead generation, grow market share and increase penetration based on market research and consumer trends. Ensure programs are delivered on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities:

Personal Interactions & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Divisional sales leadership : partner on sales campaign and program planning/design and product launch rollouts - virtual and face to face

  • Marketing leadership and cross-functionally : collaborate to implement new scalable processes and launch multi-channel campaigns - virtual and face to face

  • Vendor partners : lead campaigns and project-based work with outside vendors

  • A clear, concise, and timely communicator

  • Lead recurring meeting cadence with partners and stakeholders to provide status updates, share performance, deepen business acumen, provide recommendations, and solicit feedback to ensure alignment

  • Build support and buy-in for approaches and ideas in a way that fosters engagement

  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales colleagues, using agreed-upon processes to move initiatives to market

  • Confidently able to generate buy-in, uniting groups/teams around a common vision.

Minimum Years of Experience Required:

  • 8+ years of work experience in marketing or sales enablement

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop and implement marketing plans aligned with business objectives, and execute initiatives to drive growth

  • 1-2 years experience designing and executing sales activation programs that accelerate the success of customer-facing teams and improve efficiency

  • 1-2 years experience navigating the unique challenges and dynamics of the healthcare landscape

  • 2+ years of progressive experience demonstrating:

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels

  • Proficiency in analyzing market data, customer insights, and campaign performance metrics to inform decision-making and optimize marketing strategies

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful execution within budget constraints

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt strategies to changing market conditions

Description of Preferred Experience Required:

  • Copywriting and editing skills

  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRMs and project management tools (ie. Salesforce, Eloqua, Workfront, Poppulo)
