Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Level II Radiography Testing Inspectors for projects located in the Newport News, VA area . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $36/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. Job Scope:
Conduct RT inspections on piping, casting, and structural welds
Utilize x-ray and gamma radiography techniques
Perform and document inspections; the calibration and operation of radiography equipment
Navigate and perform tasks in various environments; climbing, crawling, and confined spaces
Requirements
Certified Level II ASNT SNT-TC-1A (2001 Edition or later)
Passed and documented certification of IRRSP from an approved entity
Demonstrated ability to pass written general theory, procedure-specific, and practical examinations for RT inspection
Recent visual acuity exam with Jaeger 1 letters at no
Certification documentation for the current and preceding 3-year period, including training, experience records, examination results, and vision tests
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfort with climbing ladders, working at heights, and crawling in tanks and confined spaces
