THE ROLE : The Project Manager will manage all aspects of assigned project tasks to assure timely implementation of all project deliverables, reporting, data analysis, and bridging any gaps to manage customer expectations. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Responsible for the creation and compilation of weekly project reports and metrics

  • Responsible for the assessing, triaging, referring, tracking, and ultimately ensuring the resolution of quality and/or performance issues that relate to project success

  • Responsible for project change orders, contract management, and driving internal stake holders for project deliverables as defined by the projects requirements.

  • Develop, capture, update, and maintain tracking of project key metrics including inventory, materials, resources, budget, invoices, and tracking tasks including milestones and project schedule tasks

  • Work with internal engineering resources, project team members, and customers to identify issues, trends, problems, and work collaboratively to resolve them

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum of 5+ years project management experience is required. Relevant experience in a similar field or Xylem experience will be considered. Experience that is not project management specifically, but relevant, will be taken into consideration as well.

  • Bachelor degree in a technical discipline (CS, EE, IS), Business or Management degree

  • Must be proficient with computer hardware and software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio) experience with Google Earth Pro and/or Smartsheet is a plus.

  • Ability to direct the work of assigned project staff to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, to quality and project interdependencies are identified and actively managed.

  • Ensure problems, risks, issues and dependencies are identified and managed which may affect the successful delivery of the Project

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple work-streams and ability to work effectively under pressure.

  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and adopt a structured working method but with the ability to react quickly to change.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, coupled with an ability to build strong collaborative relationships across departmental boundaries.

  • Cultural awareness and ability to adapt communication style when working with customers.

  • A confident, positive and flexible leadership style, with the ability to network with a range of stakeholders and to work collaboratively with senior managers.

  • Customer focused, enthusiastic and flexible with an ability to find solutions to problems.

  • Ability to drive the project team and customer to meet delivery schedules within budget and with complete customer satisfaction.

  • Utility industry experience is a plus

  • PMP certification either in process or achieved

  • Ability to travel and work at customer sites up to 75% of the time.

  • This position reports to the North Regional Manager and would ideally be located in one of the North-Eastern states

The estimated salary range at this professional level is $113000 to $132,000. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. THE ROLE: The Diesel Engine, Pump Repair Mechanic will be responsible for trouble-shooting, service, repair and maintenance of Xylem equipment in a safe and efficient manner in the shop or at a customer job site.

In the manufacturing environment exposure to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and various materials are all possible.   • Performs complete dimensional, electrical and visual inspection of samples or tools including tests such as hardness, resistance and chemical.

  • Plans and fits the pump assembly and connects required instrumentation into the piping system for performance test. Performs test, reviews results, and notifies product engineering of the results.

  • Assemble and test various large pumps and valves, such as but not limited to, triple duty valves, balance valves, suction diffusers, and split case pumps.

  • Assembles various components such as pumps, motors, receivers, panel boxes, etc. to produce Domestic units. Performs final test on Domestic units. Assembles, tests, spray paints and packs Watchman units.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Must read and interpret blueprints

  • Manages communications messaging, positioning and content development initiatives by tightly aligning and collaborating with the Vertical Marketing and GC Communications team for program execution and deployment through online and offline marketing communications campaigns.

  • Oversees consistent and effective content creation, customer messaging and digital campaign development that aligns with the growth objectives of the business

  • Creates and launches integrated marketing campaigns by managing campaign implementation.

  • Ensures consistency and continuity in presentation of the Xylem brand and the company's product brands.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or Communications

  • 2-5 years relevant experience working

  • Industry knowledge helpful

  • Communications credentials

Day in the Life: In this role, the working environment is that of an office environment. and the physical demands may include but not limited to regularly sitting, standing, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs, etc. In addition, this role may require regular travel within the region and at times, up to 10-15% as a regular part of the job.

SALARY : The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
