THE ROLE : The Business Development Manager will be responsible for formulating growth strategies that measurably improve the business' market position, drive differentiated customer experiences and achieve financial growth in a particular end customer segment. Collaborate with different groups to design and execute strategies that generate demand and drive growth through customer acquisition, retention, and win-back.
Identify and build the case for the big -strategic bets- for growth in the category, including product development opportunities, expansion into adjacencies, cross-selling and upselling potential, and new business models.

Sources and interprets multiple and complex data sets (from internal and external sources) into insights that lead to profitable business actions.
Produces a robust multi-year -Market Map- based on identification of under-served customer markets, monitoring of industry trends and high-growth, attractive market/technology drivers.
Regularly gathers and analyzes business, market and competitor information and supports the development of the strategic marketing plan.
Leads Voice of Customer programs to solve strategic growth questions for the business and sense for latent customer needs.
New Business Development:
Develops go to and get-to market strategies for existing products/applications/markets in geographies where market share is low compared to goals and/or are targeted areas for growth.
Works closely with the Demand Generation Manager to develop targeted lead generation and brand building marketing campaigns that can be directly attributed to revenue growth.
Identifies potential market adjacency opportunities.
Business Development Manager
Works with channel partners to build their business.
Partners with sales to identify strategic accounts and provide insights, training, or other support as needed.
Performs thorough assessments of the potential for specific new target markets and technology opportunities and develops go-to and get-to market strategies to pursue these opportunities
Growth Partnerships:
Builds industry and customer alliances and participates in industry/trade organizations.
Identifies potential business partners and scouts for M&A opportunities.
Develops content for and/or participates in training events for customers and sales organization.
Demonstrates thought leadership by presenting in industry seminars, leading webinars and publishing white papers.
QUALIFICATIONS :
BA or BS in Marketing, Business or Engineering
8-15 years of related experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
Knowledge of principles and methods for driving growth and value creation.
Balance strategic and tactical efforts - Ability to get credible results/wins working one-on-one with sales & ops AND providing a clear 3-5-year framework for accelerating profitable growth.
Ability to create followership and influence - get teams rallied around the business especially in sales & product management by informing, listening, convincing, and persuading others to action on key growth initiatives.
Collaboration and teamwork. Proven track record of teamwork, innovation, and results.
Converts theory and insights into specific actions.
Ability to manage and organize multiple priorities in a poised, self-driven manner.

SALARY:
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. Brief Description/Job Summary
The Role: The Production Scheduler will perform scheduling functions to support customer orders requirements and execute site level builds goals, balancing production capacity. Act as a liaison between manufacturing, materials and customer service functions. Investigate root cause and develop/implement process improvements to ensure adherence to agreed production schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Associate or technical degree in mechanical curriculum or ten (10) years of equivalent experience in related field
Mechanical experience with demonstrated on-site experience
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet functions
Must possess excellent communication and personal interaction skills (written and oral)
Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings & specifications
Must be able to acquire and maintain a US or Canadian driver's license and passport
Effectively document conditions and communicate through electronic devices including cell phones, laptop computers, and photography
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong mechanical background
Ability to evaluate & troubleshoot mechanical systems
Familiarity and experience with construction trades involving masonry, pipefitting, carpentry, and surveying layout techniques
Ability to deliver training to operators and site personnel
DAY IN THE LIFE :
In this role, the working environment will be on-site at Municipal or Industrial constructions sites involving water and wastewater process equipment and potential exposure to electrical, mechanical, and chemical hazards as well as a standard office environment. This position requires occasional heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds, extended standing/walking, and wearing of Personal Protective Safety Equipment. This role requires 100% travel.

THE ROLE : The Field Service Representative will be responsible for providing consultation and advisory services at project jobsites regarding the installation, testing, and commissioning of all Leopold products and systems. In this role, the incumbent will also provide investigative findings (via a daily report) for all phases of installation and perform diagnosis or troubleshooting of older installations while working with the internal Xylem team to develop a corrective plan of action for the Customer. Obtains the appropriate drawings/ design information required to supervise or test the Underdrain/DAF/Eliminite/ Membrane system in the field, obtained from the job file in the -R- drive vault or by consulting the appropriate Project Manager or Project Engineer.
Comes prepared with the necessary drawing & design information required to serve as Leopold technical -expert- in the field (prior to reaching the jobsite)
Possess superb customer relation skills and must be able to handle service calls that require more attention and care without becoming frustrated and rushing to conclusions
Carries appropriate certificates within their possession to be provided if requested on the job site.
Stays current with required training for admittance to jobsites (PPE, Confined Space, etc.) and all required training required by ES&H
Provides advice and consultation to contractors during the installation of Leopold equipment and systems for mechanical and structural related equipment
Observes and verifies that the contractor's installation is correct in accordance with Leopold's standard specifications and Installation, Operation, & Maintenance manual.
Verifies that contractor's installations are in accordance with Leopold requirements by performing inspections and testing activities as required by standard Leopold -Testing & Inspection Requirements-
Trains and instructs contractors and operators on mechanical start-up services for all process related equipment; including all necessary adjustments to mechanical and structural components and equipment
Conducts Leopold standard and customized job-site training including proper system operation and maintenance training according to the site specific -Training Plan-
Inspects malfunctioning mechanical and structural equipment to analyze problems and diagnose corrective actions. Documents and recommends corrective measures to the Project Manager for new equipment needed or modifications needed to the existing equipment for improved performance.
Documents changes and modifications to equipment required for proper function in weekly Service Report and delivers to appropriate parties.
Prepares and submits fully completed and timely reports via ServiceMax describing installation activities, conditions, or problems.
Support other non-field service-related activities on an as-needed basis. This may include filter and media installation support, filter startup testing & training, and other activities needed to support other functions. Coordinate with service coordinators, engineering,
procurement, & project management to ensure site readiness
