The Role: The Project Accountant is responsible for providing a solid foundation of project analytics ensuring fiscal health of assigned projects as well as partnering with project managers to support successful decisions and outcomes.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Conducting a cost variance analysis to project budgets and other ad-hoc project analyses in support of the Project Managers and other users;
Leading detailed project review meetings on a regular basis
Proactively making recommendations and implementing agreed upon improvements to processes and reports
Researching unbilled/unrecovered costs to optimize the billing possibilities for the future and making recommendations to management;
Perform reconciliations of Project related balance sheet accounts.
Conducting full-cycle project accounting for multiple projects of differing contract values and complexities
Reviewing and communicating contracts and purchase orders
Communicating with Project Managers contract conditions, change orders, billing schedules, and any additional services-related to billing
Setting up fees, consultants, and cost breakdowns on new projects following Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Preparing draft/final invoices (including applicable supporting documentation) for all billable projects in accordance with project specific billing requirements
Reviewing the accuracy of labor and costs expensed to assigned projects and reallocate if required;
Providing Work-In-Progress analysis (WIP) on a regular basis
Assisting Project Managers in developing project budgets and performing actual to budget variance analysis
Prepare monthly billing forecasts; Assist Project Managers with forecast expectations by reconciling current billing forecasts versus prior month accruals.
Advising accounts payable on coding project related invoices
Providing quarterly support of external auditor requirements, which may include research and reconciliation
Performing month-end activities which include but are not limited to, revenue and cost recognition, accruals, and account reconciliation
Assisting the delivery team to understand the net impact from month to month of any accrual adjustments and how they impact forecast
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Five + years of hands on detailed, project accounting experience preferably in an engineering services or technology industry.
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in spreadsheets and project accounting software.
Thorough knowledge of standard contract terms and how they are applied in the billing process.
Experience with revenue recognition policies related to contract and performance matters.
Ability to work well with others and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
Responds well to changes in priorities without compromising quality of work.
Polished written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
Strong customer service orientation, both internally and externally.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to process improvement and problem solving.
Knowledge of the project structure in a client/consultant business environment.

The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Grinder, Second Shift to perform judgement required for grinding castings with defects. Skill and dexterity required in chipping and grinding out parts of castings which are not easily assessable. Judgement is required to avoid over-grinding or under-grinding of special castings.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Maintain high safety standards and follow all company safety rules
Operate chipping hammer, die grinder, and hand-grinder.
Operate Fox grinder.
Grind on bench tables or down draft tables.
Operate hoist to handle castings in a safe manner.
Grind castings, all shapes and sizes at a fast and safe rate.
Run both small and large cutoff saws.
Bowl cleaner and vanes.
Operate forklift.
Utilize provided PPE when grinding (protective face hood, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, ear plugs, apron, sleeves) as well as employee owned metatarsal guard safety shoes.
Performs other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Role: The Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical sales support to both external sources (consulting engineers, contractors and end users) and internal sources (regional managers, project management/ engineering, manufacturing and after-sales service) to obtain sales orders to meet set sales goals.

This position will work across software and firmware development teams to identify component and system level technical risks and evaluate critical failure points, determine technical security controls to mitigate risks, and work with cross functional teams to implement features according to product road maps.
You will lead security standards implementation, penetration testing and PSIRT programs of for our entire product portfolio. Your passion for security and in-depth knowledge of Product Security will ensure that you deliver high impact results.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and advocacy for Cyber Security investments, while ensuring effectiveness and risk reduction, coordinate with stakeholders on the accountability for implementation of product cyber security principles and standards.
Work with the business, devops and systems teams to identify certification targets to meet customer demand; inform product security strategy based on customer certification targets for the product portfolio covering IoT and, Smart-device suites
Ensure consistent assessment of security architecture and technical assessments for a wide range of products, including embedded devices, enterprise software solutions, and mobile apps
Track accountability and efficacy of processes and services through established and emerging metrics for the Xylem product security program.
Contribute to the development and evolution of the application and infrastructure security reference architecture. Develop, implement and maintain the security architecture for Xylem product portfolio
Champion the Xylem security SDLC. This includes security testing, penetration testing, and identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in software and applications on all Xylem products.
Support commercial teams by building customer trust in the security of Xylem products
Track implementation of common application security controls
Coordinate training and education to developers on software security best practices.

The Role: Xylem Analytics seeks to hire an Inside Sales Specialist to provide data mining activities and quality leads for Xylem Analytics Utility (Wastewater) team members while striving to add customer value by meeting or exceeding customer expectations via online, phone.

Support the Utility Water & Wastewater team with data mining activities and lead generation. Cross train with other key market verticals.

Create opportunity on qualified leads. Perform take off including specification review, bill of materials, bid status and budgetary quotes. Interact/communicate with regions directly through this process.

Product quality, marketing and market intelligence information is to be shared with appropriate internal team members.

The Role: As member of Xylem's Product Security team, the Security Program Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of security programs and practices to support a growing, global water technology company. This position will work across software and firmware development teams to identify component and system level technical risks and evaluate critical failure points, determine technical security controls to mitigate risks, and work with cross functional teams to implement features according to product road maps.
You will lead security standards implementation, penetration testing and PSIRT programs of for our entire product portfolio. Your passion for security and in-depth knowledge of Product Security will ensure that you deliver high impact results.

Provide guidance and advocacy for Cyber Security investments, while ensuring effectiveness and risk reduction, coordinate with stakeholders on the accountability for implementation of product cyber security principles and standards.
Work with the business, devops and systems teams to identify certification targets to meet customer demand; inform product security strategy based on customer certification targets for the product portfolio covering IoT and, Smart-device suites
Ensure consistent assessment of security architecture and technical assessments for a wide range of products, including embedded devices, enterprise software solutions, and mobile apps
Track accountability and efficacy of processes and services through established and emerging metrics for the Xylem product security program.
Contribute to the development and evolution of the application and infrastructure security reference architecture. Develop, implement and maintain the security architecture for Xylem product portfolio

The Role: As a Business Application Specialist (BAS) you are responsible for product launches & updates, program development, adding new functions, market communication and training.
