The Role: Manages the monthly production schedule and ship plan for the facility. Serves as primary communication interface to customer service for customer commit dates. Aligns customer commit dates with production schedule and available capacity.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Create, monitor, and analyze production schedules.

  • Monitor production process to ensure on-time delivery to customers

  • Update ship dates to customers if original commit dates will not be met.

  • Review new orders daily to ensure orders are scheduled appropriately based on capacity and material availability. Communicate necessary date changes to customer service.

  • Develop monthly ship plan by collaborating with production manager, production supervisors, buyer/planners and product managers.

  • Maintain production status report daily to monitor monthly ship plan goal attainment.

  • Respond promptly to customer service inquiries relating to ship dates, expedite requests and order changes.

  • Provide manufacturing lead-times for all products to commercial teams

  • Document considerations for technological feasibility, general availability, and impairment for both internal use software and software for sale

  • Analyze software development costs for capitalization

  • Partner with the accounting and reporting team to provide guidance on complex transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, impairments, restructuring, litigation, etc.

  • Evaluate final executed agreements and document accounting conclusions in technical memorandum under ASC 606

  • Continuously improve the accounting processes and procedures by identifying areas to streamline, automate or refine

  • Provide training on technical topics to finance teams within the segment

  • Provide assistance with monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting requirements

  • Interface with both internal and external auditors in support of audit procedures

  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • CPA required

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel functionalities

This position will assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of environmental, safety and health policies and procedures and best practices, particularly related to product manufacturing, transportation and services for rental and sales of industrial pumps and related equipment at branch offices located across the United States.

The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Regional Environment, Health, Safety & Security Coordinator. This position will assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of environmental, safety and health policies and procedures and best practices, particularly related to product manufacturing, transportation and services for rental and sales of industrial pumps and related equipment at branch offices located across the United States.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Drive and expect zero injuries as an acceptable safety culture as a KPI.

  • Drive and expect zero environmental NOVs as a KPI

  • Assist Branch Managers and EHS Managers with driving EHS accountability.

  • Assist EHS&S Manager with exceeding sustainability goals as a KPI.

  • Serves as an EHS&S subject matter expert and business partner for the Region in which they support.

  • Conduct routine site visits to provide in person support and assistance as appropriate based upon need and business conditions.

  • Ensure start-up sites and or sites with new management are provided the guidance and tools to be successful Xylem Inc. EHS&S programs.

  • Assist regional branches with coordination, development and delivery of EHS&S training and education programs for new hires and existing employees either by use of CBT or in person training to meet regulatory and Xylem requirements.

  • Assist regional branches in identification of facility/jobsite hazards and risks to prevent injuries, spills or other EHS&S impacts and to ensure compliance with company and customer-specific safety standards and government regulations.

  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors and staff to institute loss prevention, loss control and corrective actions for unsafe and/or potentially unsafe acts, conditions or equipment.

  • Partner with Operations team(s) to develop and distribute communications addressing accidents, near misses, lessons learned and other EHS&S-related topics.

  • Assist and Support the Xylem Dewatering EHS team in the development and implementation of the appropriate EHS Management System procedures in order to align with Xylem expectations and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate the distribution and communication of applicable EHSMS elements at Regional Branches to support comprehension, implementation and accountability.

  • Assist and support the investigation of accidents to identify root causes and appropriate corrective actions to aid in preventing recurrence of similar incidents in the future.

  • Issue new hire welcome package to include handbook, PPE, safety boot voucher, etc. and assign/remove employees from Training platform.

  • Weekly develop Training completion report.

  • Manage contractor safety program.

  • Ensure Insurance carrier's audit findings are closed within a reasonable time frame.

  • Oversee and drive BCP, ERP, IH Monitoring, Security, MOC and XPS action plans within regions

  • Monitor and drive 100% Training completion.

  • Manage contractor safety program.

  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Non-Essential Functions

  • Participate in the Xylem Corporate EHS&S Audit Program to support ongoing compliance and management system audits at various operations and locations throughout Xylem. Serve as an audit team member and/or audit team leader.

  • Develop and analyze safety data and programs under the direction of the Director of EHS&S.

  • Prepare detailed summaries that include results of risk assessments, test results, observations, identified safety concerns, and recommendations or solutions to resolve those concerns.

  • Recommend ways to assist the company in creating safer and cleaner processes. Performance of varied duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required

  • 3-5 years' experience working as a safety professional in manufacturing and or construction environment.

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologists (OHST) preferred

  • Federal OSHA and state-equivalent programs for occupational safety and health for general industry.

  • Federal MSHA and state-equivalent programs for occupational safety and health for surface and subsurface mines.

This position will assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental, safety and health KBIs, policies and procedures and best practices, particularly related to product manufacturing, transportation and services for rental and sales of industrial pumps and related equipment at branch offices located across the United States.

  • Drive and expect zero injuries as an acceptable safety culture as a KPI.

  • Drive and expect zero environmental NOVs as a KPI

  • Drive Near miss and Concern Reporting submittals.

  • Manage direct reports with their personal and technical development, while driving accountability.

  • Assist EHS&S Director with exceeding sustainability goals as a KPI.

  • Serves as an EHS&S subject matter expert and business partner for the Region in which they support.

  • Conduct routine site visits to provide in person support and assistance as appropriate based upon need and business conditions. Up to 50% per month travel within region. Some travel will require 2-3 days overnight stay from home base.

  • Ensure start-up sites and or sites with new management are provided the guidance and tools to be successful Xylem Inc. EHS&S programs.

  • Assist regional branches in identification of facility/job site hazards and risks to prevent injuries, spills or other EHS&S impacts and to ensure compliance with company and customer-specific safety standards and government regulations.

  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors and staff to institute loss prevention, loss control and corrective actions for unsafe and/or potentially unsafe acts, conditions or equipment.

  • Partner with Operations team(s) to develop and distribute communications addressing accidents, near misses, lessons learned and other EHS&S-related topics.

  • Assist and Support the Xylem Dewatering EHS team in the development and implementation of the appropriate EHS Management System procedures in order to align with Xylem expectations and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate the distribution and communication of applicable EHSMS elements at Regional Branches to support comprehension, implementation and accountability.

  • Assist and support the investigation of accidents to identify root causes and appropriate corrective actions to aid in preventing recurrence of similar incidents in the future.

  • Participate in the Xylem Corporate EHS&S Audit Program to support ongoing compliance and management system audits at various operations and locations throughout Xylem. Serve as an audit team member and/or audit team leader.

  • Develop, analyze and present safety data and programs under the direction of the Director of EHS&S.

  • Prepare detailed summaries that include results of risk assessments, test results, observations, identified safety concerns, and recommendations or solutions to resolve those concerns.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Construction experience preferred

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologists (OHST) preferred

The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Sr. Regional Environment, Health, Safety & Security Manager. This position will assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental, safety and health KBIs, policies and procedures and best practices, particularly related to product manufacturing, transportation and services for rental and sales of industrial pumps and related equipment at branch offices located across the United States.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Drive and expect zero injuries as an acceptable safety culture as a KPI.

  • Drive and expect zero environmental NOVs as a KPI

  • Drive Near miss and Concern Reporting submittals.

  • Manage direct reports with their personal and technical development, while driving accountability.

  • Assist EHS&S Director with exceeding sustainability goals as a KPI.

  • Serves as an EHS&S subject matter expert and business partner for the Region in which they support.

  • Conduct routine site visits to provide in person support and assistance as appropriate based upon need and business conditions. Up to 50% per month travel within region. Some travel will require 2-3 days overnight stay from home base.

  • Ensure start-up sites and or sites with new management are provided the guidance and tools to be successful Xylem Inc. EHS&S programs.

  • Ensure a safe working atmosphere within the region and compliance with all the corporate as well as regulatory requirements.

  • Assist regional branches with coordination, development and delivery of EHS&S training and education programs for new hires and existing employees either by use of CBT or in person training to meet regulatory and Xylem requirements.

  • Assist regional branches in identification of facility/job site hazards and risks to prevent injuries, spills or other EHS&S impacts and to ensure compliance with company and customer-specific safety standards and government regulations.

  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors and staff to institute loss prevention, loss control and corrective actions for unsafe and/or potentially unsafe acts, conditions or equipment.

  • Partner with Operations team(s) to develop and distribute communications addressing accidents, near misses, lessons learned and other EHS&S-related topics.

  • Assist and Support the Xylem Dewatering EHS team in the development and implementation of the appropriate EHS Management System procedures in order to align with Xylem expectations and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate the distribution and communication of applicable EHSMS elements at Regional Branches to support comprehension, implementation and accountability.

  • Assist and support the investigation of accidents to identify root causes and appropriate corrective actions to aid in preventing recurrence of similar incidents in the future.

  • Participate in the Xylem Corporate EHS&S Audit Program to support ongoing compliance and management system audits at various operations and locations throughout Xylem. Serve as an audit team member and/or audit team leader.

  • Develop, analyze and present safety data and programs under the direction of the Director of EHS&S.

  • Prepare detailed summaries that include results of risk assessments, test results, observations, identified safety concerns, and recommendations or solutions to resolve those concerns.

  • Recommend ways to assist the company in creating safer and cleaner processes. Performance of varied duties as assigned.

  • Ensure Insurance carrier's audit findings are closed within a reasonable time frame.

  • Oversee and drive BCP, ERP, IH Monitoring, Security, MOC and XPS action plans within regions

  • Monitor and drive 100% Training completion.

  • Manage contractor safety program.

  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

  • 10+ years' experience working as a safety professional in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • 5+ years supervising direct reports

  • Construction experience preferred

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologists (OHST) preferred

  • Federal OSHA and state-equivalent programs for occupational safety and health for general industry.

  • Federal MSHA and state-equivalent programs for occupational safety and health for surface and subsurface mines.

  • Federal EPA and state-equivalent programs for environmental protection.

  • Behavioral based safety concepts involving industrial and manufacturing processes.

  • Extremely competent with the use of computers and Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Gensuite software.

  • Solve complicated, open-ended water resources problems by applying optimization techniques and innovative data analytics over sensor data and hydraulic models.

  • Facilitate integration of digital solutions across water sectors, including, but not limited to, coupled analysis, problem solving, and decision making across stormwater, wastewater and treatment systems.

  • Communicate and collaborate with teams of water resource engineers and decision makers to define problems, strategize solution approaches, and bring solutions to implementation.
