The Role: A Hydroinformatics Engineer is a multidisciplinary engineer with optimization and hydraulic modeling skills and a passion for using data to improve urban watershed environmental and societal impact. This position is focused on the development and implementation of algorithms and analytics for operational optimization of wastewater collection systems, drinking water distribution and transmission systems, and treatment systems, as well as the interactions between these systems through the use of real time data, hydraulic modelling, machine learning and advanced control systems. This position will be primarily focused on optimizing wastewater networks and treatment systems.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Solve complicated, open-ended water resources problems by applying optimization techniques and innovative data analytics over sensor data and hydraulic models.

• Facilitate integration of digital solutions across water sectors, including, but not limited to, coupled analysis, problem solving, and decision making across stormwater, wastewater and treatment systems.

• Communicate and collaborate with teams of water resource engineers and decision makers to define problems, strategize solution approaches, and bring solutions to implementation.

• Develop and manage large datasets. Communicate summaries and conclusions drawn from data in clear and concise ways, visually and verbally.

• Translate data analytics into language understood by water resource engineers and data analysts, both in the practitioner and research space.

• Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

• Bachelor's Degree (in Civil Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering), preference given to those with Master's or PhD degrees.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hydraulic modelling with software from Innovyze, US-EPA, OpenWaterAnalytics (specifically PySWMM), or DHI.

• Experience on implementation of Real-Time Decision Support Systems for wastewater/water utilities.

• Experience connecting to and testing rainfall forecasting tools including NOAA, Accuweather, or Climacell to support forecasting decision support systems.

• Experience developing hydrologic 2-D surface meshing models to be used in surface flooding analyses

• Previous experience programming in software languages such as Python, R, C, MATLAB, etc.

• 2-5 years of inter-disciplinary research or project work with multiple different engineering or science disciplines.

• Previous experience developing advanced geospatial information system (GIS) data analysis, using tools such as Python-GeoPandas, ESRI's Arc GIS and ArcPy, or QGIS's programming interface.

• Fluent in English.

The Role: The Sales Engineer is responsible for maximizing the financial performance of their territory by expanding the sales of Xylem's industry leading Flygt brand solutions and services. Utilizing strong technical and product knowledge, this team player will solve customers' fluid handling opportunities and increase company business through the development of Flygt pumping systems and solutions and aftermarket sales and services in the wastewater treatment plant and collections markets which we serve.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Maximize financial performance of the region by expanding the sales of Xylem's industry leading Flygt brand solutions and services.

• Grow the sales volume of territory accounts in compliance with all company policies, instructions and directives. This includes aggressively soliciting orders by developing construction marketing data leads, answering incoming requests for quotation, cold calling, and all other means possible.

• Apply application technologies to drive specifications, and to provide useful and practical pumps, services and solutions to customers, while seeking new uses for company products.

• Work in conjunction with Marketing to drive bid reporting services and lead management in addition to build company image to drive new opportunities and brand recognition within the territory.

• Grow and maintain an effective sales pipeline utilizing SalesForce.com.

• Identify, develop and implement local marketing strategies to expand penetration of Xylem's products in assigned business.

• Build consultative relationships with municipal end users, consultant engineering firms, and utility contractors to position Flygt solutions to solve customer's issues and win more projects for Xylem.

• Create synergy opportunities for cross-business consultative selling based on an understanding and awareness of the Xylem solution set.

• Be alert to competitive products and practices and keep management informed of market conditions, competitive scope and approach and any trends in the market place.

• Prepare and assist with various sales reports. This includes bids, proposals, quotes, sales forecasts, expense reports, and SFDC engagement and utilization. Also submit any special reports to create white papers, showcase wins, acceptance of products, or other data as may be required.

• Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, sales blitzes, committee activities, conventions and trade shows as directed. Participate in other worthwhile community activities as public relations asset to the company.

• Keep abreast of and review/analyze online bid services such as Dodge Room, Contractors Exchange Research, and State Revolving Fund IUP reports to maintain awareness of funding and public bid opportunities

• Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

• Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical experience and degree preferred.

• 2+ years' sales or sales related experience (pump or process industry preferred).

• General knowledge of mechanical and pumping designs; hydraulic, pneumatics, water flow, electric motors in related field of pumps, pumping systems, or construction preferred.

• Previous experience in the use of Salesforce.com or other CRM's is strongly preferred.

• Ability to present product education seminars to municipal end users and consultant engineers to drive specification of Flygt Equipment is a must.

• Knowledge of consultative/value based selling to municipal end users, consultant engineers and utility contractors

The Role: The Project Accountant is responsible for providing a solid foundation of project analytics ensuring fiscal health of assigned projects as well as partnering with project managers to support successful decisions and outcomes.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Conducting a cost variance analysis to project budgets and other ad-hoc project analyses in support of the Project Managers and other users;

• Leading detailed project review meetings on a regular basis

• Providing quarterly support of external auditor requirements, which may include research and reconciliation

The Role: The Sales Engineer is responsible for maximizing the financial performance of their territory by expanding the sales of Xylem's industry leading Flygt brand solutions and services. The Role : The Quality Technician is responsible for the inspection and verification activities required to maintain and improve our quality management systems, to assure our products meet or exceed customer's requirements.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection and verification of products and processes, including, verification of customer orders, and receiving, in-process, and final inspection of products.

• Perform verification and calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment and gauges. Responsible for maintaining calibration records.

The Role: The position of Service Shop Electrical Technician is responsible for service, repair and maintenance of Xylem, Flygt electric submersible equipment in a safe and efficient manner at a Xylem Service Center.

• Perform preventative maintenance and service with minimal direction on electrical fleet equipment between each rental.

The Role: Class A Driver - Field Operator is responsible for supporting the delivery, installation and operation of Xylem equipment on Xylem Service Center sites and/or customer job sites. The Field Operator will maintain a clean and orderly work site environment to enable safe and efficient movement of workers and motorized equipment throughout the site.

• Possess a Class A Drivers License or CDL B willing to upgrade to an (A)

• Utilize motorized equipment handling machinery to safely load equipment on and off trucks and trailers.

• Assist in securing load utilizing straps and chains.

The Role: The position of Service Shop Diesel Technician is responsible for service, repair and maintenance of Xylem equipment in a safe and efficient manner at a Xylem Service Center.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing as directed on Xylem equipment between each rental. Diagnose and report any damage to the Service Manager.

• Create an accurate and legible parts and repair list for assigned Xylem equipment. Review list of parts with Service Manager and obtain approval to continue with servicing and repair.

• Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality.

• Assist customer and/or Xylem personnel with setting up pumping systems on customer job sites as needed.

• Maintain a safe work environment by following EHS&S guidelines, policies and best practices.

• Participate in weekly on-call rotation schedule to assist customers after hours.

• Perform related duties as assigned.
