The Role: A Hydroinformatics Engineer is a multidisciplinary engineer with optimization and hydraulic modeling skills and a passion for using data to improve urban watershed environmental and societal impact. This position is focused on the development and implementation of algorithms and analytics for operational optimization of wastewater collection systems, drinking water distribution and transmission systems, and treatment systems, as well as the interactions between these systems through the use of real time data, hydraulic modelling, machine learning and advanced control systems. This position will be primarily focused on optimizing wastewater networks and treatment systems.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Solve complicated, open-ended water resources problems by applying optimization techniques and innovative data analytics over sensor data and hydraulic models.
Facilitate integration of digital solutions across water sectors, including, but not limited to, coupled analysis, problem solving, and decision making across stormwater, wastewater and treatment systems.
Communicate and collaborate with teams of water resource engineers and decision makers to define problems, strategize solution approaches, and bring solutions to implementation.
Develop and manage large datasets. Communicate summaries and conclusions drawn from data in clear and concise ways, visually and verbally.
Translate data analytics into language understood by water resource engineers and data analysts, both in the practitioner and research space.
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree (in Civil Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering), preference given to those with Master's or PhD degrees.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hydraulic modelling with software from Innovyze, US-EPA, OpenWaterAnalytics (specifically PySWMM), or DHI.
Experience on implementation of Real-Time Decision Support Systems for wastewater/water utilities.
Experience connecting to and testing rainfall forecasting tools including NOAA, Accuweather, or Climacell to support forecasting decision support systems.
Experience developing hydrologic 2-D surface meshing models to be used in surface flooding analyses
Previous experience programming in software languages such as Python, R, C, MATLAB, etc.
2-5 years of inter-disciplinary research or project work with multiple different engineering or science disciplines.
Previous experience developing advanced geospatial information system (GIS) data analysis, using tools such as Python-GeoPandas, ESRI's Arc GIS and ArcPy, or QGIS's programming interface.
Fluent in English.

The Role: A Hydroinformatics Engineer is a multidisciplinary engineer with optimization and hydraulic modeling skills and a passion for using data to improve urban watershed environmental and societal impact. This position is focused on the development and implementation of algorithms and analytics for operational optimization of wastewater collection systems, drinking water distribution and transmission systems, and treatment systems, as well as the interactions between these systems through the use of real time data, hydraulic modelling, machine learning and advanced control systems. This position will be primarily focused on optimizing wastewater networks and treatment systems.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Solve complicated, open-ended water resources problems by applying optimization techniques and innovative data analytics over sensor data and hydraulic models.
Facilitate integration of digital solutions across water sectors, including, but not limited to, coupled analysis, problem solving, and decision making across stormwater, wastewater and treatment systems.
Communicate and collaborate with teams of water resource engineers and decision makers to define problems, strategize solution approaches, and bring solutions to implementation.
Develop and manage large datasets. Communicate summaries and conclusions drawn from data in clear and concise ways, visually and verbally.
Translate data analytics into language understood by water resource engineers and data analysts, both in the practitioner and research space.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree (in Civil Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering), preference given to those with Master's or PhD degrees.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hydraulic modelling with software from Innovyze, US-EPA, OpenWaterAnalytics (specifically PySWMM), or DHI.
Experience on implementation of Real-Time Decision Support Systems for wastewater/water utilities.
Experience connecting to and testing rainfall forecasting tools including NOAA, Accuweather, or Climacell to support forecasting decision support systems.
Experience developing hydrologic 2-D surface meshing models to be used in surface flooding analyses
Previous experience programming in software languages such as Python, R, C, MATLAB, etc.
2-5 years of inter-disciplinary research or project work with multiple different engineering or science disciplines.
Previous experience developing advanced geospatial information system (GIS) data analysis, using tools such as Python-GeoPandas, ESRI's Arc GIS and ArcPy, or QGIS's programming interface.
Fluent in English.

The Role: The Project Accountant is responsible for providing a solid foundation of project analytics ensuring fiscal health of assigned projects as well as partnering with project managers to support successful decisions and outcomes.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Conducting a cost variance analysis to project budgets and other ad-hoc project analyses in support of the Project Managers and other users;
Leading detailed project review meetings on a regular basis
Proactively making recommendations and implementing agreed upon improvements to processes and reports
Researching unbilled/unrecovered costs to optimize the billing possibilities for the future and making recommendations to management;
Perform reconciliations of Project related balance sheet accounts.
Conducting full-cycle project accounting for multiple projects of differing contract values and complexities
Reviewing and communicating contracts and purchase orders
Communicating with Project Managers contract conditions, change orders, billing schedules, and any additional services-related to billing
Setting up fees, consultants, and cost breakdowns on new projects following Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Preparing draft/final invoices (including applicable supporting documentation) for all billable projects in accordance with project specific billing requirements
Reviewing the accuracy of labor and costs expensed to assigned projects and reallocate if required;
Providing Work-In-Progress analysis (WIP) on a regular basis
Assisting Project Managers in developing project budgets and performing actual to budget variance analysis
Prepare monthly billing forecasts; Assist Project Managers with forecast expectations by reconciling current billing forecasts versus prior month accruals.
Advising accounts payable on coding project related invoices
Providing quarterly support of external auditor requirements, which may include research and reconciliation
Performing month-end activities which include but are not limited to, revenue and cost recognition, accruals, and account reconciliation
Assisting the delivery team to understand the net impact from month to month of any accrual adjustments and how they impact forecast

The Role: The Customer Support Supervisor will work with and coach a team to provide legendary support to our customer base. The Role: The position of Service Shop Electrical Technician is responsible for service, repair and maintenance of Xylem, Flygt electric submersible equipment in a safe and efficient manner at a Xylem Service Center.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and service with minimal direction on electrical fleet equipment between each rental.
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing as directed on Xylem equipment between each rental. Diagnose and report any damage to the Service Manager.
Create an accurate and legible parts and repair list for assigned Xylem equipment. Review list of parts with Service Manager and obtain approval to continue with servicing and repair.
Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality.
Use a multimeter to diagnose problems with low voltage DC signal wiring.
Assist customer and/or Xylem personnel with setting up pumping systems on customer job sites as needed.
Read electric wiring diagrams for troubleshooting systems
Maintain a safe work environment by following EHS&S guidelines, policies and best practices.
Participate in weekly on-call rotation schedule to assist customers after hours.

The Role: Class A Driver - Field Operator is responsible for supporting the delivery, installation and operation of Xylem equipment on Xylem Service Center sites and/or customer job sites. The Field Operator will maintain a clean and orderly work site environment to enable safe and efficient movement of workers and motorized equipment throughout the site.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Possess a Class A Drivers License or CDL B willing to upgrade to an (A)
Identify all items to be delivered or picked up with customer to ensure completeness and accuracy. Perform visual inspection of equipment being picked up and note any damage. Obtain customer's signature on appropriate paperwork.
Utilize motorized equipment handling machinery to safely load equipment on and off trucks and trailers.
Secure all items loaded on the truck for safe over-the-road travel in accordance with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA), Federal Department of Transportation and local Department of Transportation guidelines.
Assist in securing load utilizing straps and chains.
Ensure yard and loading areas are clear of debris and trash; accessories and equipment are organized and easy to access.
Follow all safety processes and procedures and maintain a 'Safety First' approach when completing daily work tasks. Complete a Job Safety Assessment before beginning any job on a customer site. Ensure compliance with all Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
Travel locally to mobilize/demobilize small pump systems on customer job sites. Ensures pipeline, pump equipment and accessories are installed according to specification.
Review preliminary contracts to ensure all materials needed are identified and available. Update the sales staff should any materials change or the initial job set up changes.
Initiate site introductions with customer and Outside Sales personnel. Establish customer expectations and clarify customer support.
Establish communication with equipment operators.
Perform proper sequencing to break down pump systems and pipelines to avoid spills and/or contamination to surrounding work area. Properly flush systems.
Safely utilize chain saws and other hand tools to properly cut and break down pipelines. Understand how and where to cut pipe to avoid spills, damage and excessive scrapping.

High school or general equivalency degree
Valid driver's license with good driving record; Class A preferred or willingness to upgrade Class B license
