POSITION SUMMARY
The Call Center Specialist provides high-level customer service and effectively communicates with existing and prospective clients (dentists, members, agents, and employer groups) regarding claims, enrollment, and benefit service support.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manages multi-line phone system Provides excellent customer service support by taking client information, and responding to questions regarding claims, enrollment, and benefits information. Proactively seek solutions and problem-solve to resolve client issues relating to plan information, enrollment, and client material. Responsible for communicating guidance and directions to assist members in navigating benefit information online including directing clients to company website to verify enrollment, benefit coverage, and how to submit claims/pretreatments. Communicate website capabilities efficiently and innovatively. Collaborate with other call center representative to improve customer service Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with callers, members, physicians, and other providers. Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office programs is required. Demonstrated typing competency (minimum of 40 wpm). Must possess good organizational and priority-setting skills and exercise independent judgment with minimal guidance and supervision. Team-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise 1. Reports for scheduled shifts on time and in a professional manner with regard to behavior, telephone courtesy, dress, identification, and communication with patients' colleagues, and outside agencies. 2. Works closely with the provider and leadership to continually improve the patient experience though daily patient care, clerical support, ongoing projects and assumes additional duties as needed in a self-directed manner. 3. Prepares the patient for the visit by taking vital signs, documenting and order entry within the EPIC system, arranging and coordinating support and ancillary services for patient care, preparing patient rooms for visits, stocking exam rooms, preparing schedules, and providing general support to the providers and patients. Performs specific specialized tests (i.e., pulmonary function tests, phlebotomy procedures) as needed. 4. Provides for a safe patient experience through adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, manufacturer standards and reports any potential equipment malfunctions or safety violations. Determines potential equipment needs for clinician visit and sets up exam rooms accordingly. Is skilled in assisting clinicians with treatments, dressings, and other tasks. 5. Communicates effectively with patients, peers, and all members of the health care team. Listens and responds to verbal and non-verbal communication of patients, families, and staff members. Relates to patients in caring manner. Relays complete and pertinent information in verbal and written form appropriate to the ages of patient served. Demonstrates understanding of legal implications of charting, documents clearly and objectively all encounters with patients. 6. Within scope of Medical Assistant, demonstrates exemplary clinical knowledge and focuses on customer service to answer and triage patient telephone calls. Records complete and accurate messages and obtains necessary instructions from providers and nurses, etc. when appropriate. 7. Acts as a resource/role model by coaching, supporting and motivating members of the Medical Assistant and Patient Service Coordinator team. Assists others in completing tasks as needed. 8. May be assigned to function as one of the primary trainers for new Medical Assistants and office team members. May be assigned Lab functions and draws. 9. Assists leadership with ordering, maintaining, and monitoring office medications. 10. Collaborates with leadership and other staff to recommend changes to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of patient care. 11. Performs other duties as assigned that support ProMedica's core values.
Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of a recognized MA program at an accredited college or university or worked 1 year as an MA to meet the requirements to become certified. Skills: Able to promote a strong commitment towards achieving outstanding internal and external customer satisfaction and superior patient experience. Able to work independently, prioritize, problem solve and work cooperatively with faculty and staff. Years of Experience: Experience in the medical industry, including both patient care or non-patient care roles. In lieu of experience, will accept continuing education in a healthcare related areas of study. License: N/A Certification: Registration or Certification as a Medical Assistant through accredited body required; or active license from applicable state as an LPN/RN. Performs routine and special blood specimen collection for all age specific patients.
ACCOUNTABILITIES - All Essential to the Role
Collects products or specimens for basic procedures and may perform point-of-care testing using proper techniques. Follows strict principles of asepsis and antisepsis. Assists in the care of the patient prior to, during and after specimen collection. Determines, from like samples, combinations of tests and the associated acceptable minimum volumes. Knowledgeable of pre-analytic variables, which may affect specimen analysis. Familiar with test synonyms and abbreviations, and cross-referencing tests to specimen types. Utilizes laboratory computer information system to include all work aides and shortcuts within the system. Utilizes quality assurance data to enhance the services rendered by the section. Recommends changes in procedures to address quality issues and provide customer/patient satisfaction. Performs and documents quality control procedures. Acts as a resource and is a liaison between phlebotomy staff and Laboratory /Point of Care Team. Cross trained in defined core job functions and patient care departments. Routinely perform difficult specimen collections, such as re-draws and misses. Assists in the training of new associates or students. As needed, performs all pre-analytic tasks associated with sample preparation including, but not limited to, centrifugation, decanting, and specimen packaging. Maintains established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. Complies with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies by attending mandatory in-services and continuing laboratory education and participating in continuous quality improvement. Maintains and upgrades personal professional development. Maintains appropriate par levels and organizes supplies and equipment in work areas as assigned. Notifies appropriate associate when re-order levels are reached, and equipment needs to be repaired. Maintains protocols and procedures for excellent patient care and follows guidelines for infection control management. Demonstrates good teamwork. Willingly accepts adjustments to assignments and adapts willingly to changes in workflow and processes. Provides excellent customer service incorporating ProMedica's core values. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma or Equivalent.
License/Certification/Experience:
A diploma from an accredited phlebotomy training institute OR one year phlebotomy experience.
Successful completion of an academic program which included substantial practical clinical phlebotomy experience (i.e.: 3+ week clinical student rotation program in a hospital setting).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional registration preferred [i.e., PBT(ASCP)]
1 year experience in a high-volume phlebotomy environment

POSITION SUMMARY:
Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician and employee satisfaction.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Under the direction of a registered pharmacist, procures and distributes medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Fills physician orders. Replenish medication kits, automated dispensing machines, and stock requisitions accurately.
Prepares intravenous admixtures and other sterile preparations (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition where applicable) safely and accurately using appropriate techniques. Only Pharmacy Technicians who have completed all required competencies will prepare intravenous admixtures
Assists in ordering, receiving, unpacking, and storing medications and supplies in appropriate locations; Repackages bulk medications in unit-dose packages safely and accurately per established procedures using appropriate techniques
Assists in completing all medication inspections and identifies and removes all outdated and unusable medications.
Collaborates with other health care professionals in meeting departmental goals. Establishes and maintains mechanisms for communication and constructive problem solving with staff. Utilizes a team approach in decision-making and problem solving. Build trust and mutual respect.
Performs training of new employees and in-services current employees in areas of specialization and/or expertise.
Is routinely responsible for special assignments around continuous quality improvement and other projects as assigned by a supervisor.

The manager/director, under the direction of the COO/CNO, will collaborate with senior leadership in developing, implementing, and monitoring ambulatory behavioral health practices. The leader will have oversight of operations, assessing operational processes, improvement enhancements and efficiency, and leading the development of new techniques, services and programs that will improve employee, patient and physician/provider satisfaction, in support of the organization's mission. The leader will act as the primary contact for local, regional and state organizations that are directly connected to the development and ongoing operations of an ambulatory pediatric behavioral health program.
ACCOUNTABILITIES All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise 1. Responsible for the development and implementation of an ambulatory, evidence based behavioral health program, including but not limited to an adolescent behavioral health Intensive Outpatient Program. 2. Supports COO/CNO on all professional and programmatic activities in accordance with professional, regulatory, and accrediting standards including but not limited to the state of Ohio and The Joint Commission in alignment with the ProMedica mission, goals and values. 3. Directs, or at times delegates, to subordinate management, human resource activities to include workforce planning, recruitment, selection, orientation, supervision, recognition, discipline, and evaluation of employees. 4. Develops, approves and monitors business unit operation and capital budgets and assists in the oversight of financial accountability from departmental operations and overall financial performance. 5. Maintains excellent relationships and on-going communication with various matrixed services, service lines, system department, as well as related business units. 9. Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with community, regional and governmental agencies to ensure business and clinical needs of department/program are met in efficient, effective, and high quality manner. 10. Develops and participates in all aspects of hospital business plans and strategic plans as assigned. 11. Responsible for development and oversight of hospital departmental policies, procedures, objectivism quality assurance programs, safety and accreditation standards and ensures consistent implementation of the same. 12. Represents hospital, department, business line within the community, at external events, and various community functions as assigned. 13. Performs all other duties as assigned. Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field i.e. nursing, social work, counseling, etc. Skills: Must possess superior interpersonal and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a multi-task environment. Requires strong business acumen with demonstrated knowledge of operations and financial budgets. Effective relationship development and problem solving abilities. Requires effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Years of Experience: Requires 3 or more years of progressively responsible supervisory or leadership experience in behavioral health or a healthcare related field.

The RN Program Coordinator is the primary point person for ensuring the collaborative care of patients from the time of hospital discharge through all follow ups. They work closely with hospital and other PPG staff to ensure smooth transition of care including testing and clinic visits.

Overall coordination of provider clinic:
Facilitate patient plan of care, as outlined by provider during office visit. Review the patient's Health Risk Assessment to identify potential barriers, risk factors, opportunities for education and gaps in recommended preventive services. Coordinate patient's procedures and/or possible hospital admissions-requiring coordination with both inpatient and outpatient services. Prepares the patient for the visit by gathering base line data from the patient, documenting reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals/office testing. Triaging patient calls:
Gather and review eligible patient's self-reported health information. Triage symptomatic patient phone calls; coordinate care for patient with provider and/or other service lines/specialties. Review the patient's Health Risk Assessment to identify potential barriers, risk factors, opportunities for education and gaps in recommended preventive services. Communicate test results to patient in a timely manner and facilities any further orders outlined by provider. Review and manage preoperative surgical clearance request with providers, if needed. Must also communicate any further orders specific to surgery-example: medications that must be held prior, bridging of medications before and after surgery and/or any testing needed prior. Communicates effectively with patients, peers, and all members of the health care team. Listens and responds to verbal and non-verbal communication of patients, families, and staff members. Position Summary
Our Environmental Services Technicians are responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, as well as other common areas of their job assignment such as rest rooms, nurses' stations, corridors, conference rooms, utility rooms, treatment areas, kitchens, offices, lobbies, lounges, stairwells and waiting rooms. Other assigned areas may include surgery OR's, labor and delivery, emergency department and other procedural areas. POSITION SUMMARY
Registers/pre-registers patients to receive medical services in clinic, laboratory, inpatient, outpatient or emergency department. Obtains demographic information, validates insurance, and receives/post payments. Adheres to necessary regulatory requirements. Answers and/or refers questions received from patients, visitors, and staff to appropriate department. Performs various related clerical functions. Always shows respect and value for our customer and projects an image of professionalism.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform a variety of face-to-face registration, pre-registration, walk in outpatient scheduling, and collection functions for all patients including self-pay patients. Utilize electronic insurance verification system to verify insurance benefits and determine copay and/or coinsurance for the patient's services; ask all eligible patients for copay and/or coinsurance to meet monthly Point of Service goals. Contacts patients via phone for necessary information pertaining to registration, billing and financial responsibility via our pre-registration process. Assists patients at time of service with general benefit and financial responsibility inquires and posts payments to patient accounts as appropriate. Manages time effectively to perform complete registration questionnaires while meeting departmental productivity standards in compliance with system productivity policies. Uses time to complete other departmental duties when patients cannot be registered. Maintains high attention to detail by reviewing all work for completeness and accuracy in compliance with system quality assurance policies. Completes registrations to meet department accuracy standards for error-free work as demonstrated on the monthly KPI (Key Performance Indicators). Understand basic Registration processes and provide feedback to management on issues that impede timeliness or quality of Registration and work with management to resolve. Independently review assigned reports/work queues to ensure goals and deadlines are met. Maintains current knowledge of insurance requirements communicated by email, memorandum, educational matrices and in-services. Seeks assistance from Financial Counselors when needed to maintain patient flow while resolving financial issues. Communicates effectively with service delivery areas when unresolved financial issues threaten appointment schedules. Respects the rights and dignity of all patients. Provides and maintains patient privacy at all times. Is compliant with HIPAA guidelines and privacy practices, patient confidentiality and patient rights. Escorts customer/employees to their requested location when possible. (Site Specific). Immediately approaches a customer or employee who seems lost and offers assistance. Takes ownership of a customer's problem. Ensures the matter is resolved in a timely manner if able or exculpate to the appropriate department. Functions as a team member to organize and prioritize responsibilities to complete daily work requirements:
a. Complies with changes in duties and assignments in a positive and cooperative manner. b. Adjusts to peaks in workload: demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to change. c. Completes assignments in appropriate time frames. d. Offers assistance to co-workers to ensure completion of all assigned duties as necessary. e. Performs duties in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision or direction.
Demonstrates a positive, supportive, respectful and helpful attitude in interactions with all department customers (patients, physicians, visitors and other healthcare team members). Assist management with training new staff as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Must demonstrate excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to input and retrieve information from a computer, operate a calculator, fax machine and copier. Must have previous experience with computers and office applications. Must be able to move about office and between workstations. Must be able to occasionally lift, move and carry moderately heavy materials. Must demonstrate commitment to exceptional customer service. Must have strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task. Must be able to read and speak the English language.
Must be able to complete 4-5 weeks of full time training, Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY
Functioning as a team member within a patient centric care delivery model for high quality and service within the practice setting. ACCOUNTABILITIES
Reports for scheduled shifts on time and in a professional manner with regard to behavior, telephone courtesy, dress, identification, and communication with patients' colleagues, and outside agencies.
Works closely with the provider and leadership to continually improve the patient experience though daily patient care, clerical support, ongoing projects and assumes additional duties as needed in a self-directed manner.
Prepares the patient for the visit by taking vital signs, documenting and order entry within the EPIC system, arranging and coordinating support and ancillary services for patient care, preparing patient rooms for visits, stocking exam rooms, preparing schedules, and providing general support to the providers and patients. Performs specific specialized tests (i.e. pulmonary function tests, phlebotomy procedures) as needed.
Provides for a safe patient experience through adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, manufacturer standards and reports any potential equipment malfunctions or safety violations.
May support a variety of clerical office functions including calls, documentation, scanning, etc.
Within scope of Medical Assistant, demonstrates clinical knowledge and focuses on customer service to answer and triage patient telephone calls. Records complete and accurate messages and obtains necessary instructions from providers and nurses, etc. when appropriate.
Supports internal and external customers, to maintain a superior customer experience across the continuum of care through teamwork. Communicates professionally with patients, providers, and co-workers at all times. Actively participates and is engaged in staff meetings.
Collaborates with leadership and other staff to recommend changes to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of patient care.
Performs other duties as assigned that support ProMedica's core values.
Education: Must be a high school graduate or its equivalent.

ProMedica Flower Hospital is located in Sylvania OH, a suburb of Toledo, OH. Position Summary:
Prepares, seasons, and cooks food for hospitals patients, employees, and visitors. Performs lead role for kitchen service activities and the delivery of food in consultation with the Chef, Managers, Supervisors, and Clinical Dietitians.
Accountabilities:
Applies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients/clients served, i.e. infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Prepares, seasons, and cooks food. Cuts, pours, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes. Uses a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment, including choppers, slicers, mixers, and blenders. Previews menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of meals, vegetables, soups, salads, and desserts to be obtained and prepared. Responsible for menu selection and completion. Plans and coordinates cooking schedules so that meals will be ready at required times. Assist with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Alerts Manager to problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies. Detects and reports spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment, or other unusual conditions. Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety standards. Ensures that sanitary levels are maintained throughout the food preparation process as well as throughout the workday. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Education: None required.
Skills: Capable of operating kitchen equipment; have good math and communication skills; be able to read and speak English; have the ability to learn how to change and convert recipes as needed and to learn special diet production needs. The Candidate needs to be able to deal effectively with a fast-paced environment and be open to new ideas and be willing to take instruction. Must have a basic understanding of culinary basics: cooking temperatures and proper labeling/rotation of food product.
