Position Summary:
Performs area specific assigned duties to ensure food service to patients, employees, and visitors. Maintains area and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Knows and observes all safety and sanitation policies and procedures as they relate to specific area. Provides quality customer service.
Accountabilities:
Uses proper technique for pulling and rotating stock and labeling and dating of foods. Maintains foods at proper temperatures to assure safety and freshness following H.A.C.C.P. principles. Informs other duties, verbal or written, as assigned by a supervisor.
Tray Line Area
Readies tray service line for the appropriate meal. Portions food to patient tray from various stations on serving line according to diet and menu. Prepares and delivers patient nourishments to the patient care area. Delivers meals to patient rooms and communal areas. Performs various duties after try service such as: pre-set trays, wash carts, ready foods for next meal, restock tray line areas and othe4r duties assigned by the supervisor. Scrape, soak, wash and sanitize pots and pans. Check pans for cleanliness sort and deliver to assigned area. Operate and maintain pot machine and record temperatures. Readies tray service line for the appropriate meal. Portions food to patient tray from various stations on serving line according to diet and menu. Dumps trash. Uses good control and correct usage of detergents and cleaning supplies. Maintains cleanliness and order of areas. Follows sanitation codes.
Cafeteria Area
Provide fast, friendly, accurate and clean service to each customer. Acknowledge customers promptly and greet each customer with a smile. Prepare foods and set up service area as designed by timeline. Ensure areas are replenished with food when and where needed. Keep foods looking fresh. Must operate cash register according to departmental policies and procedures. Ensure accurate and efficient sales transactions. Know and observe all conditions of the cash handler's agreement. Ensure proper signage is displayed. Have a working knowledge of food prices. Performs minimal cooking (grill, fryer, pizza) methods to obtain a quality end product. Completes cleaning assignment when scheduled and/or as needed.
Production Area
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation for production and all other Dietary areas according to designated outlines in regard to floor and equipment. Completes designated work timelines. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all walk-in coolers. Stocks inventory and fill Dietary requisitions. Rotates stock and maintains the order and cleanliness of the Dietary storage areas. Labels and dates foods per Dietary policies.
Skills:
Must have knowledge of weights and measurements. Requires the ability to make change and keep records accurately. Must be able to follow directions, communicate and respond to inquiries/requires effective interpersonal skills. Able to verbalize information to customers about product and/or recipe contents.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: HS diploma/GED preferred

Physical Demands: Must be able to move about the hospital and between workstations. Must be able tolerate exposure to temperature changes, humid/hot conditions and unpleasant orders. Position Summary:
The Child Life Specialist I will perform patient care assignments and carry out established procedures under general guidance of the Child Life team approach and supervision. They will assist pediatric patients in the continuum of normal growth and development within the hospital setting. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
Assist with group activities (holiday celebrations, birthday parties, special events) which provide diversion for pediatric patients/families, attentive to cultural diversity. Demonstrate understanding of special needs to enhance children's abilities, opportunities for variety of play, activities and other interactions which promote self-healing, self-expression, understanding and mastery. Encourage family centered care by providing psychosocial support services to parents while encouraging parent participation in procedural and developmental support. Provide therapeutic activities to pediatric patients confined to their rooms to promote effective coping. Support families confronting grief and bereavement issues with resources to process feelings. Monitor activity room supplies to support activities and physical environment to meet safety/infection control/ sanitize as needed. Provide documentation in electronic medical record to reflect patient/family care in a concise, objective and accurate manner, according to established department and hospital standards. Assign volunteers to patients for bedside cradling and arts and craft activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study (Child Life, Family Studies, Counseling, Child Development, Education) Previous work experience with children in healthcare environments Understanding of growth and development Ability to interact with seriously ill children of all developmental levels, their siblings, parents and extended family members Ability to input and retrieve information from electric charting system
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Child Life or closely related field of study with completion of ACLP required coursework Completion of 600-hour Child Life internship under the direct supervision of a Certified Child Life Specialist required Certification as a Child Life Specialist is preferred; must be eligible to meet certification requirements within 1 year of hire

Position Summary
Our Environmental Services Technicians are responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, as well as other common areas of their job assignment such as rest rooms, nurses' stations, corridors, conference rooms, utility rooms, treatment areas, kitchens, offices, lobbies, lounges, stairwells and waiting rooms. Other assigned areas may include surgery OR's, labor and delivery, emergency department and other procedural areas. Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements as well as proper and safe chemical use. Adheres to all organization safety, risk management and infection control guidelines and standards while promoting a culture of safety. Actively participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives, including but not limited to initiatives to improve patient experience and cleanliness metrics. POSITION SUMMARY The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be competent to care for patients of all ages to include infants, children, adolescents, adult and geriatric population dependent on the area assigned. This individual performs the duties and responsibilities outlined below as assigned, under minimal supervision from the Respiratory Care Department leadership team and the Medical Directors of Respiratory Care. The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs these assigned duties and responsibilities according to regulatory standards, clinical practice guidelines, policies and procedures approved by the Medical Directors and Administration. This individual will frequently make independent decisions regarding modification of therapy in accordance with clinical practice guidelines, policies and procedures.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Achieves and maintains a level of competency to perform prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice, as required per business unit, in accordance to departmental competency standards, which include general care, critical care, emergency care and diagnostic procedures, including, but not limited to, the following: - General Care: patient identification and assessment, medical gas delivery, medication administration via nebulizers and MDI/DPI, bronchopulmonary hygiene and hyperinflation therapy - Critical Care: initiation, management, and weaning of invasive and non-invasive ventilation; airway management and suction, including tracheostomy, endotracheal and pharyngeal; cuff and ETCO2 monitoring, intubation and extubation; set-up, calibration, insertion (arterial lines) and maintenance of indwelling lines and catheters, and high risk newborn deliveries - Emergency Care: responds to rapid responses and emergency codes; performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, and actively participates in patient stabilization, internal and external transports - Diagnostic Care: blood sampling and analysis, specimen collection, continuous and/or noninvasive monitoring, bedside pulmonary function screens, spontaneous breathing parameters and electrocardiograms (EKG) Note: critical tests and values will be reported in a timely manner per Hospital Policy.

Accountabilities/Performance Standards
Perform a variety of face-to-face registration, pre-registration, walk in outpatient scheduling, and collection functions for all patients including self-pay patients. Utilize electronic insurance verification system to verify insurance benefits and determine copay and/or coinsurance for the patient's services; ask all eligible patients for copay and/or coinsurance to meet monthly Point of Service goals. Contacts patients via phone for necessary information pertaining to registration, billing and financial responsibility via our pre-registration process. Assists patients at time of service with general benefit and financial responsibility inquires and posts payments to patient accounts as appropriate. Manages time effectively to perform complete registration questionnaires while meeting departmental productivity standards in compliance with system productivity policies. Uses time to complete other departmental duties when patients cannot be registered. Maintains high attention to detail by reviewing all work for completeness and accuracy in compliance with system quality assurance policies. Completes registrations to meet department accuracy standards for error-free work as demonstrated on the monthly KPI (Key Performance Indicators). Understand basic Registration processes and provide feedback to management on issues that impede timeliness or quality of Registration and work with management to resolve. Independently review assigned reports/work queues to ensure goals and deadlines are met. Maintains current knowledge of insurance requirements communicated by email, memorandum, educational matrices and in-services. Seeks assistance from Financial Counselors when needed to maintain patient flow while resolving financial issues. Communicates effectively with service delivery areas when unresolved financial issues threaten appointment schedules. Respects the rights and dignity of all patients. Provides and maintains patient privacy at all times. Is compliant with HIPAA guidelines and privacy practices, patient confidentiality and patient rights. Escorts customer/employees to their requested location when possible. (Site Specific). Immediately approaches a customer or employee who seems lost and offers assistance. Takes ownership of a customer's problem. Ensures the matter is resolved in a timely manner if able or exculpate to the appropriate department. The Resident Caregiver assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.
