Complies with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies by attending mandatory in services and continuing laboratory education and participating in continuous quality improvement. Maintains appropriate par levels and organizes supplies and equipment in work areas as assigned. Notifies appropriate associate when re-order levels are reached and equipment needs to be repaired.   • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A diploma from an accredited phlebotomy training institute OR significant phlebotomy experience.

  • Professional registration preferred.

  • Experience must be either: Six months' experience in a high volume phlebotomy environment, or successful completion of an academic program which included substantial, practical clinical phlebotomy experience

  • Must be able to continuously move about department and between workstations.

  • Must be able to understand directions and be able to communicate and respond to inquiries. Requires effective interpersonal skills.

  • Performs other duties as directed or assigned.

    Mobile Phlebotomist Addendum:

  • Performs the essential duties of a Phlebotomist.

  • Has completed function specific HIPAA training.

  • Follows the guidelines of the home draw area in respect to drawing patients in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Communicates with coworkers any information needed to perform their job efficiently.

  • Calls the patient the night before to schedule draw within a two hour time frame.

  • Keeps vehicle properly maintained and clean. Keeps current with oil changes, recalls, and other mandatory inspections.

    General Information/Qualifications:

    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A diploma from an accredited phlebotomy training institute or one year phlebotomy experience. Professional registration preferred.

    Experience must be either:

    a. 6 months' experience in a high-volume phlebotomy environment, or

    b. successful completion of an academic program which included substantial, practical clinical phlebotomy experience (EX: 8+ week clinical student rotation program in a hospital setting)

  • Must be able to continuously move about department and between workstations.

  • Must be able to understand directions and be able to communicate and respond to inquiries. Requires effective interpersonal skills.

Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT Technologist performs complex professional procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. They obtain high quality scans, which are interpreted by a radiologist in the evaluation of disease or abnormality. Assists radiologists or other staff physicians in the performance of diagnostic CT procedures whenever required. This position also requires General Radiology job functions.

  • Must have completed formal radiology technology training at an AMA approved school.

  • Ensures therapy plans of care are completed and routed in a timely fashion to comply with regulatory requirements and system-wide quality standards.

  • Responsible for point-of-service collections, including co-pays and deductibles. Records and processes collection in accordance with system policies.

  • Processes daily billing charges, completes charge reconciliation to ensure billing accuracy, and identifies and assists with correction of billing errors.

  • Performs general office support including but not limited to typing, data entry, filing, copying, and scanning. Assist with reports and data collection as directed.

Position Summary

Our Environmental Services Technicians are responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, as well as other common areas of their job assignment such as rest rooms, nurses' stations, corridors, conference rooms, utility rooms, treatment areas, kitchens, offices, lobbies, lounges, stairwells and waiting rooms. POSITION SUMMARY Pre-Analytic Technician is a general job description. All Pre-Analytic Techs are required to perform the essential job duties. Additional functions are driven by shift and the functional area the individual is assigned to. These are determined by the department and reflected on the individual signed job description, including the appropriate addendums, when placed in the position.

ACCOUNTABILITIES All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise 1. Knowledgeable regarding the combinations of tests and the associated acceptable minimum volumes, as well as pre-analytic variables that may affect specimen analysis. Familiar with test synonyms and abbreviations, and cross-referencing tests to specimen types. 2. Utilize the Laboratory and Hospital Information System independently. 3. Maintain established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, and infection control. Comply with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies by attending mandatory in-services and continuing laboratory education and participating in continuous quality improvement. Maintain and upgrade personal development. 4. Assist in the training and orientation of new employees or students. 5. Notify proper associate or order stocked supplies when supply is low. 6. Follow Standard Safety Precautions. 7. Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers. Diplomatic liaison between nursing units and laboratory. 8. Clean and stock work areas. Complete and log routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and workstations. 9. Follow ProMedica Customer Service guidelines. 10. Must be able to tolerate exposure to disease bearing specimens, blood and body fluids, odorous chemicals, carcinogens, mutagens, low level radiation, electrical hazards, flammable liquids, and dry ice. 11. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School diploma or equivalent Skills: Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; effective interpersonal skills are required.
