POSITION SUMMARY

The Call Center Specialist provides high-level customer service and effectively communicates with existing and prospective clients (dentists, members, agents, and employer groups) regarding claims, enrollment, and benefit service support.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manages multi-line phone system

  • Provides excellent customer service support by taking client information, and responding to questions regarding claims, enrollment, and benefits information.

  • Proactively seek solutions and problem-solve to resolve client issues relating to plan information, enrollment, and client material.

  • Responsible for communicating guidance and directions to assist members in navigating benefit information online including directing clients to company website to verify enrollment, benefit coverage, and how to submit claims/pretreatments.

  • Communicate website capabilities efficiently and innovatively.

  • Collaborate with other call center representative to improve customer service

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

  • Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with callers, members, physicians, and other providers. Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office programs is required. Demonstrated typing competency (minimum of 40 wpm). Must possess good organizational and priority-setting skills and exercise independent judgment with minimal guidance and supervision. Team-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Job Description

Serves as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor (ACLS/PALS) for the American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center within ProMedica. Teaches AHA courses for The CPR Rescue Training Center on a varied basis, to include on and off-site locations. Maintains AHA course content and practice within AHA standards.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Complete the AHA ACLS and/or PALS Instructor Course and the number of teach backs necessary to obtain the AHA Instructor Card 2. Assists in determining level of training in participants with physical difficulty in performing skills according to AHA standards 3. Prepares room and equipment at least 30 minutes prior to class start 4. Demonstrates performance of skills according to AHA standards 5. Observes return demonstrate of learner skills according to AHA standards 6. Assures course work is completed for each participant and submits to the program coordinator for processing, no later than five days after the course 7. Assures manikins and equipment are cleaned and in good working order at the end of each class and reports any needed repairs to the Program Coordinator. 8. POSITION SUMMARY

The Respiratory Care Assistant will be competent to care for patients of all ages to include infants, children, adolescents, adult and geriatric population, dependent on the area assigned. The Respiratory Care Assistant is able to perform the skills/procedures validated by an accredited respiratory care program and approved by the state issuing the limited practice license, required by the assignment with supervision, according to regulatory standards, clinical practice guidelines, policies and procedures approved by the Medical Directors and Administration. This individual performs the duties and responsibilities outlined below as assigned, under supervision from the Respiratory Care Department leadership team and the Medical Directors of Respiratory Care. Standards of performance and skills for the areas to which the individual may be assigned must be maintained according to department policy. The individual must be committed to providing patients and families with a positive experience through compassionate care and excellent service, safely and efficiently. This individual will display professionalism at all times and maintain patient confidentiality.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Achieves and maintains a level of competency to perform prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice per business unit, in accordance to departmental competency standards, which include general care, critical care, emergency care, and diagnostic procedures, including, but not limited to, the following: - General Care: patient identification and assessment, medical gas delivery, medication administration via nebulizers and MDI/DPI, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and hyperinflation therapy - Critical Care: initiation, management and weaning of invasive and non-invasive ventilation; airway management and suction, including tracheostomy, endotracheal and pharyngeal; cuff and ETCO2 monitoring, intubation assist and extubation; set-up, calibration, and maintenance of arterial and central venous pressure lines - Emergency Care: responds to rapid responses and emergency codes, as required; performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, and actively participates in patient stabilization and internal transports - Diagnostic Care: blood sampling and analysis, specimen collection, continuous and/or noninvasive monitoring, bedside pulmonary function screens, spontaneous breathing parameters, electrocardiograms (EKG) o Note: critical tests and values will be reported in a timely manner per Hospital Policy.

Safely assembles, operates and trouble shoots therapeutic and diagnostic equipment required for patient care, including, but not limited to, the following: - Gas administration, monitoring and analyzing devices, including flow meters and regulators, blenders, cylinders and bulk systems, compressors, analyzers, and pulse oximeters - Mechanical devices, including mechanical ventilators, manometers, gauges, spirometers and EKG machines. - Age specific patient care equipment, including resuscitation equipment, oral and nasal airways, endotracheal and tracheal tubes - Equipment disinfection and sterilization

  3. Understands and applies Respiratory Care Clinical Practice Guidelines, to provide safe, highly efficient, and cost effective care, using evidence based best practice.

  4. Provide educational needs of patients on disease specific process, tobacco cessation and respiratory care services provided, including instruction for home care equipment and medications.

  5. Assist with clinical instruction of respiratory care, nursing, and medical students and residents, as needed. Actively participates in the orientation of new staff and contributes to the growth of others

  6. Understands and acts in accordance with all Respiratory Care and Hospital Policy and Procedures for those areas assigned and is able to with minimal supervision in those areas.

  7. Completes accurate patient documentation, including billing and productivity standards. Participates in creating a plan of care, evaluate achievement of identified goals, record results and communicate pertinent information to appropriate members of the health care team

  8. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested, within the scope of training and educational documentation as per Limited Permit

  • Education: Must be actively enrolled and in good standing, or a recent graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program

  • License: If working in an Ohio facility, a current Limited Permit License to render respiratory care services by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board in the State of Ohio. Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care and other professional organizations is desired.

Job Summary:

Our Environmental Services Technicians are responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, as well as other common areas of their job assignment such as rest rooms, nurses' stations, corridors, conference rooms, utility rooms, treatment areas, kitchens, offices, lobbies, lounges, stairwells and waiting rooms . Other assigned areas may include surgery OR's, labor and delivery, emergency department and other procedural areas.

  • Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements as well as proper and safe chemical use.

  • Adheres to all organization safety, risk management and infection control guidelines and standards while promoting a culture of safety.

  • Actively participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives, including but not limited to initiatives to improve patient experience and cleanliness metrics.

  • Maintains cleaning cart(s), supplies and equipment evidence by properly stocking and restocking environmental services cart in a neat and orderly fashion.

  • Removes trash and other waste and transports to the appropriate disposal area while identifying proper waste streams handling.

  • Follows all infection prevention practices (i.e. proper cleaning and disinfection protocols and process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, as well as proper donning and doffing of personal protective equipment (PPE).

POSITION SUMMARY

A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the clinical director (MD) or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Staff Technician and may provide supervision of other staff.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performs all interventions/procedures within job scope and specific field of specialty in accordance with standards of care, policies & procedures, regulatory guidelines, and role specific competencies specifically: Routine, non-routine and complex recordings such as CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, seizure studies, REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, scoring all records, routine PSG recordings & Oxygen Titrations.

  4. Follows proper chain of command when issues/problems arise and demonstrates appropriate follow-through. Displays professionalism at all times and maintains patient confidentiality.

  5. Collaborates with all members of the health care team to promote a seamless patient care continuum.

  6. Initiates emergency care as necessary and maintains BCLS. Stays current in field of specialty by actively participating in continuing education and maintaining certifications and annual competencies. Acquires 10 CEU's per year or 50 CEU's over a period of 5 years. Actively participates in orienting new staff and contributes to the growth of others.

  7. Performs all other duties as assigned.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Completes a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology

39 Bed Unit - Intermediate with a 4:1 Patient to RN ratio

The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care provided to a group of patients. This nurse leads the nursing team members in the care as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other health care providers in accordance with the philosophy and policies of ProMedica Acute Care Hospitals. Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician and employee satisfaction. Ensures decisions made are based on patient and family centered care philosophy utilizing evidenced based practices, and focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.

Scope of Service:

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to individuals and groups which require specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences.
