Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Employee Relations Sr. Consultant to join our team! As an Employee Relations Senior Consultant, you will be a key member of our centralized employee relations and compliance team. Your responsibilities will encompass handling sensitive and complex EEO and employee relations investigations, as well as addressing ethics matters. You'll engage with the Human Resources department and business leaders to provide guidance on conduct, workplace accommodations, and employee performance. Your role is crucial in ensuring a fair, equitable and consistent approach across the organization. You will have the opportunity to bring your expertise to the team and inform & impact our programs, processes, and development of the function. This position reports to the Director, Employee Relations & Compliance.
Our Chantilly, VA office is the ideal location for the position, but for the right candidate, hybrid and remote work options are available.
What You'll Be Doing:
Utilize thorough and in-depth knowledge to consult with business leaders on employee behavior and performance issues, providing guidance and assistance in developing feedback and corrective actions that align with our company's practices.
Conduct investigations, involving fact-gathering, analysis, and the application of relevant laws, policies, and past practices to make recommendations and influence management actions.
Interpret and apply your deep understanding of corporate policies, employment law, and regulations to provide advice, guidance, and clarification for employee relations and performance inquiries.
Collaborate with other human resources leaders and extended employee relations team on matters that may establish precedents or necessitate legal counsel.
Develop, track, and maintain necessary documentation, including intake and investigative notes, supporting documents, disciplinary memos, and investigative summaries.
Partner with business leaders, human resources, and management to support organizational change efforts and reductions in force, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.
Collaborate with the employee relations and compliance team and talent leaders to review and analyze business data, identifying trends and recommending improvements to enhance business efficiency and performance.
Collaborate closely with the Director, Employee Relations & Compliance to lead the team of investigators, develop and implement mitigation strategies, including outreach, education, training and policy and process changes.
Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification for employee relations and performance inquiries.
Participate in special Human Resources Operations and Program Management projects/programs as required.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Four-year degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources (or related field)
15+ years of demonstrated relevant functional experience.
Deep experience in employee relations and governmental compliance programs

Deep understanding of employee relations and current employment and federal/ state/local labor laws and regulations.
Ability to interact with inside and outside counsel to effectively identify and address employment and compliance related issues.

Ability to develop and leverage relationships throughout the organization to influence individuals, leaders, and outcomes with integrity and objectivity.

Ability to leverage communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to successfully establish and maintain professional relationships and work effectively with all levels of management.
Strong strategic problem solving of complex issues; root/cause analysis skills; ability to research, consolidate data and formulate observations/recommendations and maintain confidentiality.
Utilize conflict management, consultative, and analytical skills to resolve problems through innovative and optimized talent solutions.
Thorough knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, compliance, and practices, with experience in developing, executing, and maintaining HR projects and programs.

Three years in chemical precursor analysis. Must have a demonstrated ability to leverage unclassified and classified systems.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:.

Experience working with multiple intelligence disciplines, including Human Intelligence ( HUMINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT and the data and tools these disciplines utilize
Trained and experienced in OSINT tradecraft (OS1 and OS2 equivalent)
Knowledge of analytic tools and products (e.g., Windward, Searates, Trade Databases, Panjiva, I2 Analyst Notebook, Managed Attribution SILO, Etc.)
Digital Network Exploitation Analysis or Exploitation Analysis background.
Familiarity with broad range of IC and law enforcement tools and databases.

We are seeking Cloud Engineers with experience in secure cloud computing and architecture, focusing on enabling tenants to efficiently manage their applications across varying security environments (Impact Levels 2-6) through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation. This role is essential for creating scalable, innovative solutions that streamline operations within classified networks, ensuring both compliance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have familiarity in facilitating tenant operations using IaC frameworks and automation tools, significantly reducing manual overhead while maintaining high-security standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
Implement cloud-based architectures that support tenant application management across security domains using IaC and automation.
Utilize knowledge of cloud-native tools, IaC frameworks (such as Terraform), and automation technologies to establish efficient pathways for tenant operations transitioning between different security levels.
Support initiatives focused on the innovation of tenant enablement solutions, while adhering to stringent compliance standards and maximizing operational efficiency through automation.
Support tenant design of secure cloud architecture with an emphasis on IaC and automation practices, advising on industry best practices for scalable tenant management within strict regulatory frameworks.
Support strategic planning efforts to align technological solutions with organizational needs for efficient application management across varying levels of sensitivity.

Internal Contacts: Collaborates with internal teams to integrate IaC and automation practices into all project phases effectively.
External Contacts: Coordinates with external stakeholders including tenants and CSPs offering services capable of supporting tenant enablement operations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline.
Demonstrated professional experience focusing infrastructure, DevSecOps, and the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation strategies.
Relevant certifications demonstrating expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation practices, or DevOps methodologies are desirable. These may include: HashiCorp Certified - Terraform Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate, Microsoft Certified - Azure Administrator Associate, Kubernetes Certification (CKA/CKAD). These certifications underscore a comprehensive understanding of implementing scalable infrastructure management practices through automated processes, emphasizing skills crucial for developing effective tenant enablement solutions within secure cloud environments.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts related to IaC and automation clearly to technical teams.
Understanding of deploying scalable infrastructure using cloud-native tools alongside knowledge of IaC frameworks such as Terraform.
Proficiency in system engineering tools relevant to automated environments; experience with configuration management tools advantageous for streamlining deployments across security domains using DevOps principles.
