Parsons is hiring an early stage Systems Analyst with a passion for systems and solving mission critical challenges to support our client at the San Vito Solar Observatory in Southern Italy. The observatory is part of the Solar Electro-Optical Network (SEON), a global network of solar observatories maintained and operated by the United States Air Force.

Job responsibilities

- In this role you will operate optical and radio telescopes to collect and analyze solar data while providing real time reporting to our client at the Space Weather Operations Center.

- This role will work a 365 day per year mission with hours fluctuating on a seasonal schedule based on daylight hours.

- Willing to attend classroom training with the United States Air Force as a civilian for the first 5 weeks post hire.

- Selected candidate will relocate to the San Vito Solar Observatory in Southern Italy at the conclusion of training.

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree from an accredited college and 4 years of experience; at least 12 months consisting of work in an analysis laboratory or field environment.

- 5 additional years of specialized experience can be substituted for the education requirement.

- Selected candidate will have to qualify for an Italian visa

- US Citizenship required

- Eligibility to clear national agency background check

- Visual acuity corrected to 20/20 with glasses/contacts.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intelligence Dissemination Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to prepare and process foreign disclosure requests and propose recommendations to the Government per U.S. disclosure and release policies and guidance

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform quality control over intelligence products, verifying that DIA standards for publication are satisfied and products are forwarded to the Government lead for final approval. Standards include: Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO) Classification Guidance, Directorate for Analysis (DI) Classification Guide (provided post-award), ICS 500-21 Tagging Intelligence and Intelligence related information, ICD 501 Intelligence Discovery Standards, and ICD 206 Intelligence Sourcing Standards

  • The contractor shall ensure the timely, accurate, and complete generation and modification of intelligence product metadata consistent with Government-approved standards.

  • Produce product metadata in the following formats: IC Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), IC Microsoft Project (MSP) Extensible Markup Language (XML), and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) XML.

  • The contractor shall perform cross-domain product (and associated material) dissemination

  • Use Government-specified technology to move intelligence products and associated files including CD/DVD burners, Information Support Server Environment (ISSE) Guard, Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DODIIS) One-Way Transfer Service (DOTS), Multi-Domain Dissemination System (MDDS), and Cross Domain Intelligence Release (CDIR).

  • Perform timely and accurate determination of the list of authorized recipient agencies of DIA's finished intelligence.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years working in intelligence or a related field; at least 4 of those doing research and analysis.

  • Experience working in the DoD

  • Experience with engaging with senior government and military officials

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience downgrading classified materials

  • Knowledge of the EUCOM AOR

  • 4+ years of experience with all-source analysis production

  • Experience with data analytics, analysis, and visualization

  • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle

  • Ability to demonstrate a willingness to learn

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including briefing

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

In this role you will get to work with an outstanding team of professionals providing Wargames and Exercises modeling and simulations in support of the Department of Defense Geographic Combatant Commands.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Execute engineering tasks associated with supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises with designing, building, and running modeling and simulations of ballistic missile defense systems and ballistic missile threats.

  • Execute planning, configuring, monitoring, and implementation of Missile Defense System (MDS) parameters into simulation software such as MDASIM and EADSIM to support distributed virtual and constructive exercises

  • Conduct System Engineering Integration and Test (SEI&T) element pre-test coordination, event execution, pre and post mission testing.

  • Configure and conduct on-console support on designated modeling and simulation workstations that support CCMD and MDA MDS exercises.

  • Assist with identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • BS in an engineering field or STEM related field.No direct experience required.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) Security Clearance

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intermediate - Wargames and Exercises Mission Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with an outstanding team that provides modeling and simulation support to the Missile Defense Agency's mission to provide Wargames and Exercises support to the Department of Defense's Geographic Combatant Commands.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform event integration based upon requirements from the Mission Director and Event Lead.

  • Support development/integration of the blue force laydown, voice and data communications, specific operational versions or capabilities.

  • Draft and publish the network architectural drawings and test plans to insure the Event architecture meets the requirements defined by the Combatant Command and MDA SMEs.

  • Translate customer requirements into architecture capabilities.

  • Act as the functional director of integration activities defined within the test plan.

  • Assist modeling and simulation development teams in the design and implementation of model behaviors within the simulation architecture.

In this role, you will be responsible for scope, schedule, budget, as well as business development activities for medium to large projects. Our project managers generally oversee project teams ranging in size from 4 to more than 20 professionals.

The selected candidate will have an in depth knowledge of design and construction, and will be our point of contact with the client. You will be integral to helping execute existing work and developing new projects by assuring on schedule completion, within or below, budget and in accordance with our contractual obligations. In addition to supervising Parsons' staff, you will build on our professional relationships with key subcontractors during the program execution. Your knowledge of the client's goals and objectives will be instrument in discussing any changes to the scope of work or new projects, contracts with key subcontractors, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

15+ years of related project execution and/or program management experience on same or similar large scope design and construction management projects in Roadway, OR Bridge, OR Rail/Transit. Experience with Design/Build projects is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution;

Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required and a PMP or CCM certification is preferred.

Experience with either MDOT, VDOT, or DDOT is required .

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Systems Engineer to join our team! The System Engineer will lead a team of engineers in the development of tactical hardware solutions in the EW, Wireless, and Digital Signal Processing realm. We are looking for a leader who will participate in the strategy and growth of our programs by collaborating with our external and internal customers and effectively communicating with our team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for technical excellence and quality across all projects and products. Provides technical leadership on several simultaneous efforts.

  • Oversees design, development, documentation, and testing of complex tactical hardware and software systems from concept development through fielding and sustainment.

  • Entrepreneurial/strategic mindset - wants to be a part of improving and growing a business. A hands-on type of person is very important. Assists with the development of junior personnel through effective mentorship.

  • Develops and translates stakeholder requirements into verifiable requirements for the technical execution team.

  • Develops and leads the adoption of appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools appropriate for the projects and technologies within the RSEG group.

  • Provides functional management of the System Engineer and Test / Hardware group and provides mentorship and technical leadership to the team

  • Collaborates and coordinates with external and internal customers and partners - builds collaborative relationships through effective communications and outreach.

  • Ability to participate in solutions for new programs, proposals, and pre-proposal efforts to develop concepts and mission requirements into viable system architectures for successful proposals and program execution.

  • Assists with the development of technical roadmaps and strategy for various lines of business - including product development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • 10 or more years of experience is required.

  • Technical background in real-time software development and/or complex hardware development for software basedRF/Wireless/SIGINT/Communications/EW/Radarsystems.

  • Background and working level knowledge of digital signal processing, waveform development, RF/microwave design, data analytics, software-defined radios, and software development.

  • Experience in developing customer-facing documentation of specifications, ICDs, design reviews, and test documentation. Develops a wide variety of contractual and internal documentation and reports.

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

  • US Citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with proposal writing and building customer relations.

  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.

What You'll Be Doing:

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (in lieu of degree additional 4+ years of experience can be replaced)

Our Parsons Bay Area offices are now hiring for a Senior Structural Design Bridge Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to to work on transportation projects around the San Francisco Bay Area, and Northern and Central California. This is a hybrid remote working role ( meaning allowed to work from home 2-3 days per week).

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform complex structure bridge design tasks and deliver engineering work efficiently and accurately, supporting rail/transit, and roadway projects in the USA

  • Perform complex 2D and 3D structural analyses and prepare design calculations.

  • Perform underground structure soil-structure interaction (SSI) analyses.

  • Detailed checking of design calculations performed by others.

  • Utilized developed and experienced skills for structural design and mentoring junior staff

  • Develop structural details and construction plans using Microstation and AutoCAD.

  • Prepare of geometric layouts, construction specifications and material quantity calculations

  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results.

  • Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders.

  • Structural design of bridges tunnels for transportation infrastructure, any sometimes tunnel design as well

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 8 years or more related bridge and /or structural design experience is required.

  • Tunnel design experience is a plus, but not required.

  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required.

  • MS Degree in Structural Engineering is desirable

  • Engineer In Training (EIT) is essential

  • PE licensure is desirable, but not required

  • Efficient in modeling and designing structural systems using 2D and 3D finite element analyses (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and/or others)
