Job Description:
Are you a professional software engineer with experience in cyber security? If so, Parsons has an exciting opportunity for you! These are critical times in the world of cyber security, and Parsons need your help to make the world a safer and more secure place, one computer at a time. Parsons' Software Engineers analyze, design, and develop computer software required to support hardware or technical service products. Review system architecture, and select and implement appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance. Test and debug related software
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer sciences, math, or physical sciences from an accredited institution
Advanced degree supporting software system subject matter expertise a plus
8+ years of experience delivering software solutions for aerospace or space systems, which could include the following:
Hands on design, build, test, and/or fault analysis experience with complex software architectures required
Knowledge of DoD space mission integration processes (space vehicle to ground control system, space vehicle to launch vehicle systems, space vehicle to range systems) and experience with risk identification and risk management
Ability to effectively engage industry stakeholders, government staff, and technical panels to perform monitoring and assessment responsibilities in support of mission critical preflight risk assessments
Ability to engage on multiple concurrent efforts that will each be a different stage of the assessment and evaluation cycle
Ability to participate in cross functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system engineering and integration activities

Salary Range:
$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
