PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Senior Analyst, Capital Planning & Stress Testing at our Tysons, Virginia location. The primary purpose of this job is to support the execution and reporting of modeling activities within the capital planning and stress testing process.

Contribute to the production and assessment of PenFed's capital plan and stress testing results in compliance with NCUA regulatory requirements.
Generate reporting materials and presentations used by the Finance team and challenge groups to diagnose and analyze the drivers impacting projected net income, the enterprise's risk profile, and net worth capital levels across a variety of scenarios.
Develop a familiarity with modeling and configuration requirements for existing and emerging PenFed financial products and initiatives.
Perform BAU and ad-hoc requests within the broader QRM modeling function, which may include model upgrade testing, validation exercises, back-testing and new product implementation.
Participate in the fulfillment of related data requests or NCUA inquiries related to the Capital Plan function.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including FP&A and Treasury, to ensure consistency and transparency of key modeling assumptions used within the CPST process.
Facilitate the maintenance of updated CPST process and modeling documentation that satisfies internal model risk and audit requirements.
Ability to operate within tight timelines while enforcing high standard of accuracy.
Demonstrate initiative to self-educate and cross-train.
Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics is required; Advanced Degree in related field is preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years experience with QRM Balance Sheet Management system or similar balance sheet forecasting framework is required.
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in banking or related field of business analysis is required.
Fundamental understanding of financial instrument cashflow modeling, including home lending and consumer loan products, as well as retail deposits.
Background in developing or producing presentations for executive level review is preferred.
Working knowledge of SQL or similar data query competencies used to support data validation and diagnostics.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
4+ years of related experience in Accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting required. CPA strongly preferred.
Must have specific examples of preparing and presenting accounting results to stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, particularly with excel pivots and VLOOKUPS, required.
Must have specific examples of simplifying large data sets using excel.
Intellectually curious with a willingness to work in a dynamic, challenging and rewarding environment.
Strong writing, verbal and presentation skills required.

The role is a leadership position responsible for the development and execution of a risk-based audit plan that addresses the significant risks relevant to the assigned departments. The role is responsible for developing/maintaining strong relationships with assigned business partners to obtain an understanding of the risks facing the credit union and stay aware of new developments impacting the business. Additionally, the role will be responsible for leading, directing, evaluating, and developing audit professionals to ensure audit activities are conducted to high standards of accuracy, rigor, and credibility and according to regulations and industry standards.

Direct and lead audits within the assigned portfolio and integrated audits leveraging information technology auditors.
Develop the audit team through on-the-job training, real-time feedback, and coaching for career development and audit performance.
Effectively and proactively perform root cause analysis on audit issues to identify appropriate corrective action.
Effectively and proactively communicate both orally and in writing on complex audit reporting and implications to senior executives and governance bodies (e.g., the Supervisory (Audit) Committee).
Coordinate with the SVP to prepare and deliver materials and responses for regulators.

Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Bachelor's degree and relevant industry certification required (e.g., CPA, CAMS, CIA or other relevant accounting, finance, or financial services-related certification) .
Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience assessing the risk of and/or auditing accounting, finance, and related topics required.
Minimum of five (5) years of direct management experience required.
Demonstrated ability to manage accounting and finance-related audits independently with minimal supervision, delivering high quality, timely audit reporting and analysis.
Prior experience working in the financial services industry strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting and finance-related regulatory requirements, industry standards, and procedures and controls.
Proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply auditing standards to a financial services environment, including the ability to effectively perform root cause analysis.
Prior experience developing and delivering written and oral communications to senior level executives and regulators.
Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to proactively prioritize, manage, and communicate on multiple initiatives and deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of direct management experience
Demonstrated ability to manage the cybersecurity and tech audit portfolio independently with minimal supervision, delivering high quality, timely audit reporting and analysis.
Strong background in cybersecurity assessments including applying risk management principles to a cybersecurity environment and leveraging cybersecurity frameworks (i.e. ISO/IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIST 800 series).

PenFed is hiring a Teller to work onsite at our AAFES branch located in Dallas, Texas. The primary purpose of this job is to assist with members service needs in form of selling of products, completing teller transactions, accurate balancing and performing additional operational duties. Maintain knowledge of operations, security, balancing procedures and rules and regulations concerning the ATMs and operations.
Maintain knowledge of PenFed policies and procedures.
Remain current on outside competitive products.
Conduct quality assurance monitoring of documents to be sent to Member Records.
Provide input to and assists in the implementation of new marketing projects.
Conduct member transactions when requested.
Maintain teller cash drawer limits within PenFed policies and procedures.
Balance cash drawer daily and prepares individual settlement sheets.
Maintain accurate records of deposits, withdrawals, official checks, POS, and share drafts.
Assist with the daily balancing and closing out of the branch.
Assist in training of new teammates.
Perform various Universal Representative (UR) responsibilities that may include, but not limited to, determining loan payoffs, cashes checks, furnishing loan and share balances, provide account numbers, and disburses share withdrawals after verifying proper identification.
Maintain high level of proficiency in operating all internal PenFed systems or platforms to include but limited to SalesForce, PenTeller, Knowledge, Hogan, inbound calls network, etc. to support needs of members, and business.
Provide support to other branches to include working weekends and/or extended hours as required to operate the business.
Support additional PenFed initiatives to support needs of members, and business.
If Notary Public, will be responsible for providing members Notary Services while adhering to all state laws/regulations related to the notarization of documents.
Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
Minimum of one (1) year of superior customer service experience is required.
Teller experience is preferred.
Bilingual, preferred.
Valid Notary Public, preferred.

PenFed is hiring a Repossession & Remarketing Specialist I to work onsite at our Eugene, Oregon service center. The primary purpose of this position is to participate in the remarketing of repossessed consumer loan collateral and to perform the associated tasks through the liquidation of the collateral. Members will be contacted in an effort to redeem or reinstate loans with repossessed collateral. All interactions and activity will be maintained in the system of record while following all related policies, procedures and regulations.
Responsibilities

Reviews repossessed inventory to determine course of action to be taken and initiates appropriate follow-up activity, maintaining on-line chronological records of all facts, information developed, actions taken, and results.
Work an established assignment of Repo cases and tasks leading up through the liquidation of collateral to include clear dates, SCRA checks, floor prices, posting proceeds, deficiency balance letters, refund of additional products (GAP, CPI, Extended Warranty, etc.) filing of claims (skip, deficiency balance, CPI, etc.).
Determine reason for delinquency, while providing options and/or repayment arrangements to assist the member in resolving the repossession.
Counsel and solve routine as well as occasional advanced scenarios such as settlements and the corresponding agreements and IRS reporting.
Maintain records of all daily activities and reports to the Team Lead.
Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of two (2) years' collections/repossession experience required, preferably at a financial institution.
Understanding of preventative, productive and remedial financial counseling is required.
Minimum of one (1) years' experience with call center collections preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, decision-making and written skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Available to work weekends, evenings and overtime periodically.
Licenses and Certifications
Any collections or repossession related certificates recommended.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.
Travel
Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is not required.
