Position Description
Serco has a great opportunity for an Administrative Assistant who is looking to provide support services to the U.S. Navy in the Pascagoula, MS area by supporting the Navy's Arleigh Burk Class Destroyer Program.
Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their DDG 51 contract which provides support services in the areas of Production, Engineering, Post Delivery, Configuration and Data Management, Test and Evaluation, and application support associated with the planning, design, and construction of ships under the cognizance of PMS 400D.
The Administrative Assistant will be part of a 4-member team that collaborates closely with the customer and other Serco teams to provide data entry and administration in PMS-ES application tracking data, configuration, and financial information for PMS 400D.
In this role, you will:
Provide full life cycle access management to a government IT system, including user account provisioning, access controls, and permissions management for all system data, regardless of format (electronic systems, databases, spreadsheets, images, hard copy documents, and other media).
Work with management and stakeholders to support a strategy for full life-cycle management of records, including inventory, records scheduling, and disposal.
Provide training and consulting needed to ensure that information retention and disposition policies and processes are interpreted and applied consistently enterprise-wide through-out the records management lifecycle.
Maintain and manage records and provide adequate and proper documentation of work accomplishments.
Interpret policy and guidelines to determine the applicability and requirements of the agency.
Understand and analyze and evaluate information to determine accuracy and make recommendations to improve operations and/or meet business objectives.
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and guides.
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
Be accountable for documentation of standard business processes and procedures, maintaining project documentation requiring analysis and summarization skills.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
US Citizenship
High School Diploma/GED
2 years of experience in related field.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and communications skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to interpret directives, regulations, and policies.
Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
Ability to comprehend technical terminology to be able to interpret the discussions with the application stakeholders.

Work closely with the Navy Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C) office on all risk-related taskings and assignments.

Position Description
As the Engineering Technician, you will work on a team performing IT systems modernization at DoD facilities Worldwide. This work involves installing server equipment racks, video surveillance (ip based) cameras, desktop computing systems and peripherals, cabling, and rack-mounted equipment at U.S. Army Installations Worldwide. This position will allow you to live anywhere in the United States.
As the Engineer Technician, you will perform standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations. You will follow standard work methods on recurring assignments, but you will receive explicit instructions on unfamiliar assignments. Your technical adequacy of routine work will be reviewed on completion and non-routine work may be reviewed in progress.
As the Engineer Technician, you will perform at this level one or a combination of typical duties such as:
Follow specific instructions, assemble, or construct simple or standard equipment or parts, service or repair simple instruments or equipment
Conduct a variety of tests using established methods, adjusting, and operating equipment, recording test data, and pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors
Gather and maintain specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc., performing computations, plotting data, and verifying that test data meets acceptance criteria.
Unpack and re-pack equipment for test and shipment to customer facilities.
Extract engineering data from various prescribed but non-standardized sources, processing the data following well-defined methods including elementary algebra and geometry, and presenting the data in prescribed form.
Perform the installation of CAT 6 cabling.
Terminate CAT 6 using T568B color code standard.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have to:
Be willing to travel up to 90% of the time, up to four months at a time.
Be able to successfully undergo a pre-employment background check investigation and a drug screening.
Be a U.S. Citizen, this position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
Be able to receive a favorable determination from the National Agency Check with Inquiries background investigation National Security Check including finger-prints checks; NACI. Active Secret DoD Secret Level Clearance is preferred.

2 years of working experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cables and networks.
2 years of working experience in Troubleshooting various appliance-level errors to resolution.
Follow instructions to update various Operating Systems and firmware's as directed.
1 to 2 years of working experience in collaborating with the engineering team to provide solutions to technical problems.
1 to 2 years of working experience in conducting, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
Prepare technical reports and documentation on test results,
1 to 2 years of working experience following and performing activities related to Preventative Maintenance of installed CCTV systems.
Be willing to work more than 40 hours/week.
Be able to work in areas with drafts, noise, and temperature variation.
Be able to work in high heat spaces, climb dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift up to 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position.
Be able to perform work on ladders and lifts.
Be able to work with power tools: drill, Sawzall, Rotozip saw, Dremel.
Be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Successfully completed a bachelor's professional engineering degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university plus 2 or more years of relevant business management experience. Military or DoD experience can be substituted for a degree if 5 or more years of specific work experience can be demonstrated in an analogous or higher-level position. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

Teaching and/or instructing Military personnel transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.
Guide the transitioning Military Servicemembers in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.
Organize and able to manage an office.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Serco is excited to begin support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO). This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.

Our F-35 JPO Program Risk Manager (Senior Program Manager) position is located in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, and serves as a day-to-day coordinator in the overall risk management activities for the F-35 Joint Program Office. Our Program Risk Manager directly supports and is aligned with the F-35 JPO Director of Acquisition and Integration (DA&I) and provides risk management support to F-35 JPO Program Management Offices (PMOs), F-35 JPO Functional organizations and F-35 JPO Directorates and provides analytical, technical and administrative support in Program Risks.
This is a Hybrid/Telework position.
You will be part of a dynamic team of F-35 JPO Program Managers and Analysts who works closely with the customer and other key F-35 National Security and Allied stakeholders to deliver quality F-35 systems.
In this role, you will:
Directly support the JPO Risk Management function for the overall coordination of activities supporting F-35 Program Risk management.
Provide recommended changes and updates to the JPO Joint Risk Management Plan, processes, and/or instructions for the F-35 Program
Review and make recommendations concerning the Prime Contractor's Risk Management Plan (RMP) and instructions to ensure JPO and Contractors' plans are consistent with OSD's guidelines and are adequately flowed down to the Contractors sub-contractors to meet the F-35 Program's objectives.
Review and Audit the F-35 Program management databases to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Provide recommended business process to improve standardization of risk data.
Be responsible for ensuring adequate configuration control of the F-35 Risk databases.
Develop and track overall risks and management metrics as required.
Coordinate with F-35 JPO Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads to prepare, review and ensure accuracy of presentation material for the various risk venues (Execution Review Board, Joint Risk Management Board (JRMB), IPT/APD Risk Working Groups, System Engineering Technical Reviews and other venues), as needed.
Attend various weekly meetings (DAI weekly meeting, Execution review, Risk Working Groups, Joint Risk Management Boards and other Risk related venues) as required.
Generate and distribute risk data to all PMOs/Functionals/Directorates for awareness and update. Ensure risk owners are aware of and concur with contractor risk changes. Where required, ensure that all risk mitigation plans updates and changes are coordinated across all stakeholders (JPO and Contractor).
Provide risk management expertise for the identification of risk and the development of appropriate risk mitigation strategies and plans.
Provide assistance to program office personnel in obtaining access to Active Risk Manager (ARM) and serve as POC for ARM training and resolution of ARM issues.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Master's Degree in the stated discipline or a Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years additional work experience related to the labor category functional description.

Position Description
Serco is excited to begin support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO). This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.
This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your DoD Secret clearance.
Our F-35 JPO Program Risk Manager (Senior Program Manager) position is located in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, and serves as a day-to-day coordinator in the overall risk management activities for the F-35 Joint Program Office. Our Program Risk Manager directly supports and is aligned with the F-35 JPO Director of Acquisition and Integration (DA&I) and provides risk management support to F-35 JPO Program Management Offices (PMOs), F-35 JPO Functional organizations and F-35 JPO Directorates and provides analytical, technical and administrative support in Program Risks.
This is a Hybrid/Telework position.
You will be part of a dynamic team of F-35 JPO Program Managers and Analysts who works closely with the customer and other key F-35 National Security and Allied stakeholders to deliver quality F-35 systems.
In this role, you will:
Directly support the JPO Risk Management function for the overall coordination of activities supporting F-35 Program Risk management.
Provide recommended changes and updates to the JPO Joint Risk Management Plan, processes, and/or instructions for the F-35 Program
Review and make recommendations concerning the Prime Contractor's Risk Management Plan (RMP) and instructions to ensure JPO and Contractors' plans are consistent with OSD's guidelines and are adequately flowed down to the Contractors sub-contractors to meet the F-35 Program's objectives.
Review and Audit the F-35 Program management databases to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Provide recommended business process to improve standardization of risk data.
Be responsible for ensuring adequate configuration control of the F-35 Risk databases.
Develop and track overall risks and management metrics as required.
Coordinate with F-35 JPO Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads to prepare, review and ensure accuracy of presentation material for the various risk venues (Execution Review Board, Joint Risk Management Board (JRMB), IPT/APD Risk Working Groups, System Engineering Technical Reviews and other venues), as needed.
Attend various weekly meetings (DAI weekly meeting, Execution review, Risk Working Groups, Joint Risk Management Boards and other Risk related venues) as required.
Generate and distribute risk data to all PMOs/Functionals/Directorates for awareness and update. Ensure risk owners are aware of and concur with contractor risk changes. Where required, ensure that all risk mitigation plans updates and changes are coordinated across all stakeholders (JPO and Contractor).
Provide risk management expertise for the identification of risk and the development of appropriate risk mitigation strategies and plans.
Provide assistance to program office personnel in obtaining access to Active Risk Manager (ARM) and serve as POC for ARM training and resolution of ARM issues.

The Cultural Advisor supports the 9 AF AFCENT Commander and their staff in their daily interactions with senior military and civilian personnel of foreign partners in the command's assigned area of responsibility, U.S. Central Command.
In this role you will:
Provide Cultural Advisor and Interpretation/Translation services to the Commander, 9 AF (AFCENT) at Shaw AFB, SC.
When traveling with AFCENT staff, serve as the interface with host government officials in issues regarding support to USAF forces and other DoD activities.
Assist in obtaining entry/exit visas, visa extensions, drivers' licenses, business matters, and customs requirements for countries in theater.
Assist with coordination concerning seaports and airports in theater in order to expedite movement of DoD supplies, equipment, personnel, and vehicles.
Assist the Staff Judge Advocate in the processing, review, and resolution of claims against the United States.
Advise and interpret between military and civilian members of the staff and ranking officials of host nation governments. This may include formal or informal discussions that the contractor must be able to translate orally, with equal facility, from English to Arabic, and vice versa. The contractor shall employ tact and diplomacy while fulfilling duties as translator/advisor with high-ranking officials of host nations and US Government offices, to include American Embassies and various State of Ministries.
Type narrative, statistical and tabular material from rough drafts, notes, or brief verbal instructions, operating a word processor with English and Arabic keyboards.
Interpret and translate in Arabic and English on subjects including procurement, special projects, plans, finance and general correspondence.
Translate correspondence, reports, and technical documents covering the full range of the organization's mission for the Commander, 9 AF (AFCENT) and/or staff.
Perform clear and concise expression orally and in writing at an 11th grade level (in both English and Arabic).
Conduct consecutive, accurate translations of on-going conversations/activities (in both English and Arabic).

You will be part of a 7-10 -member team that works closely with the customer to deliver services, and logistics support required to conduct RDT&E trials, operations and system installations and maintenance in support of SFOMF, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), the Navy, and other DoD projects locally within the South Florida area of operations (AOR). The team has been supporting SFOMF for over 5 years and has been recognized by both the Navy for their outstanding contributions.
In this role, you will:
Perform engineering computations, manually or using automated analysis programs (e.g., propagation, intermodulation, and frequency assignment).
Perform calculations using formulas or concepts of algebra, trigonometry, calculus, or statistics.
Collect technical data from appropriate documentation (e.g., technical manuals and internal and external reports), automated files, and other staff.
Determine and interpret equipment characteristics data, performs necessary analysis, and transcribes to required formats.
Assist engineers in moderately technical aspects of project work.

In this role, you will:
Be monitoring MAJCOM/Aviation Newsgroup requiring Combatant Commander (CCDR) validation prior to deployment, coordination on Unit Line Numbers (ULN) pending Secretary of Defense Order Book (SDOB) approval and reviewing component verified ULNs and submitting them in CENTCOM Newsgroup for CCDR validation.
Provide expertise in all aspects of Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) support for USAFCENT during contingency and steady state operations to include exercise planning and execution in accordance with JOPES VOL III and adherence to the CENTCOM Supplemental TPFDD Letter of Instructions (LOI).
Oversee personnel and cargo ULNs and tailoring of equipment requirements for Functional Area Managers (FAM) to ensure unit tasking are built correctly.
Assist in coordinating the flow of personnel and cargo to destinations throughout the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) to include other supporting areas.
Analyze and provide oversight of MAJCOM/Aviation ULN data input in JOPES and Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution System (DCAPES) that requires transportation.
Track TRANSCOM/United States Transportation Command (USTC) allocated airlift missions for validated ULNs using Single Mobility System (SMS).
Provide advice for the daily coordination and validation of force modules within the TPFDD so personnel get orders and providers can schedule airlift as requested to meet the needs of USAFCENT and supporting units.
Assist MAJCOM/Aviation POC's with proposed aggregation solutions to maintain CENTCOM TPFDD LOI for personnel and cargo minimums.
Unlock validated ULNs to reset TNC fields in DCAPES enabling MAJCOM/Unit to have visibility of taskings and to accomplish Contingency Exercise Deployment (CED) orders.
Complete daily Plan ID (PID) maintenance for validated requirements in JOPES/DCAPES.
Provide technical support and coordination between AOR Logistics/MAJCOM/Component planners requiring assistance for deviated ULNs.
Participate in weekly CENTCOM Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) providing senior leadership status report on MAJCOM/Aviation ULNs.
Monitor sourcing and coordinate with AFPC/Aviation Planners in resourcing actions for ULNs.
Ensure Load plans and hazardous declaration clearances are accomplished and submitted in Validation Newsgroups.
Report status of Air Force requirements by participating in weekly Theater-Joint Transportation Board teleconference.
Receive and process TPFDD Change Requests (TCR) requests for ULNs requiring re-verification and re-validation via CENTCOM Newsgroup messages.
Qualifications

Three years of logistics planning experience working with deployment and redeployment of personnel and cargo and have current operational knowledge of JOPES/DCAPES databases and SMS application.

Position Description

As the Field Service Engineer SME, you will work solo or as a member of a team performing work on CCTV and IT systems at DoD facilities Worldwide. This work involves installing/maintaining video surveillance cameras, desktop computing systems and peripherals, cabling, and rack-mounted equipment at U.S. Army Installations Worldwide.

You will perform a combination of typical duties such as:
Follow specific instructions, assemble, or construct simple or standard equipment or parts, service or repair simple instruments or equipment
Conduct a variety of tests using established methods, adjusting, and operating equipment, recording test data, and pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors
Gather and maintain specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc., performing computations, plotting data, and verifying that test data meets acceptance criteria.
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance inspections (function checks, visual inspections, cleaning of CCTV/IT equipment, etc)
Perform the installation of CAT 6 cabling.
Terminate CAT 6 using T568B color code standard.
Other duties may be assigned.
You will be able to work from anywhere while you are not on travel.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have to:
Be willing to travel up to 90% of the time, up to four months at a time.
Be able to successfully undergo a pre-employment background check investigation and a drug screening.

As the Engineering Technician Mid-Level, you will work on a team performing IT systems modernization at DoD facilities Worldwide. This position will allow you to live anywhere in the United States and Travel.
As the Engineer Technician Mid-Level, you will perform standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations. You will follow standard work methods on recurring assignments, but you will receive explicit instructions on unfamiliar assignments. Your technical adequacy of routine work will be reviewed on completion and non-routine work may be reviewed in progress.
As the Engineer Technician Mid-Level, you will perform at this level one or a combination of typical duties such as:
Follow specific instructions, assemble, or construct simple or standard equipment or parts, service or repair simple instruments or equipment
