Position Description
Serco has a great opportunity for a Financial Analyst who is looking to provide support services to the U.S. Navy delivering the Navy's Constellation (FFG-62) Class Frigate Program in the Washington D.C. area.
Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their Guided Missile Frigate (FFG(X)) contract which provides support services in the areas of engineering, logistics, acquisition, test and evaluation, and cybersecurity support associated with the planning, design, and construction of ships under the cognizance of PMS 515.
As the Financial Analyst, you will be part of a 11-member team that collaborates closely with the customer and other Serco teams to provide management oversight in Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) efforts across PMS515.
In this role, you will:
Provide Business and Financial Management Support to the FFG-62 Constellation Program to include:
Draft financial spreadsheets and reports, budget exhibits (NAVCOMPT, OSD, Presidents Budget).
Draft Task Planning Sheets and Reallocation Notices.
Draft funding documents to provide funding to other government activities and contractors.
Prepare ledger reports.
Collect, monitor, and analyze obligation and expenditure data from various contractor and government sources and provide reports to PMS 515M.
Resolve problem disbursements.
Provide subject matter technical expertise for meetings, presentations, inquiries, and action item resolution.
Track funding requirements, and funding documents sent to performing activities and track remaining funding.
Prepare funding requests based on requirements review and customer interface. Monitors funding requests until funding is received. Monitors expenditures to identify potential benchmark shortfalls.
Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Database.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DOD Secret Clearance.
US Citizenship
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
A High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of direct related experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
2 years of direct related experience preferably in a government financial environment.
Hands-on experience using Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Create/edit Outgoing Funding Documents (OFD).
Create/edit Project Structures used in the planning and execution of funds.
Create/edit Cost Planning data.
Create/edit Document Management System (DMS) folders.
Execute ZRQIS0002 queries.
Will have the ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
Additional desired experience and skills:
An Active DOD Secret Clearance
Experience working in or with a government budget office is highly desired.
Experience as member of Navy Program contractor team a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experienced in using one or more of the following Navy databases: Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA); NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), Program Budget Information System (PBIS).
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are required. The candidate shall be able to:
Create, modify, and format charts.
Perform multiple-level sorting, use sorting options, and design considerations.
Use mathematical, logical, statistical, and financial functions.
Basic Microsoft PowerPoint skills are required. The candidate shall be able to:
Create title and bullet slides.
Modify slide text.
Insert a table.
Work with text, drawn objects, and drawing tools.
Intermediate Microsoft Word skills are required. The candidate shall be able to:

Position Description
OIN OUR TEAM to assist and prepare over 200,000 Servicemen and women who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemen and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements and employer outreach.
The ideal Lead Employment Navigator candidate would have excellent time management skills, able to work independently, able to respond to inquiries, and, if necessary, work remotely. The Lead Employment Navigator should have prior experience providing Military Servicemembers (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and Veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools.
In this role, you will:
Listen to Service Members, analyze their expressed needs, suggest solutions, and action plans.
Provide job search guidance and career advice; assure the transitioning service member (TSM) understands and can access available resources.
Assist with job matching of vacancy postings, with TSM's skills and work requirements.
Provide labor market information, identify companies and industries in specific areas, capture skills and experience required in certain areas, and offer advice on how to apply for jobs.
Possess extensive knowledge of the current labor marketinformation.
Provide resume and cover letter advice.
Assist with training and mentoring other TAPcareer counselors as well as possess the sound organizational and positive leadership skills for site management support.
May work extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, and be able to perform administrative functions for the office.
Reports to the Regional Manager.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A High School Diploma and5 years of military Transition Assistance Program (TAP) experience.
OR aBachelor's degree and 3 years of employment or career counseling experience.
Experience managing and directing the activities of a team of 2-10 employees
Knowledge of the civilian workplace, translating military skills/language, assessing job market, and researching/interpreting job requirements.
Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Applications and virtual meeting platforms.
The ability to work well with the Military clients and must be able to communicate orally and in writing.
The ability to travel up to 10%.

Position Description
Serco is excited to continue our support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office (JPO). This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.

Our Program Manager (Senior), Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) Team, located in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, will provide Technical/Program Management (PM) support to assist the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) / Open Architecture Team with determining the applicability and execution of a MOSA and integration of Open Standards within all JPO Program Management Offices (PMOs) and Functional Organizations. This is a Hybrid/Telework position . You will be part of a dynamic team of F-35 JPO Program Managers and Analysts who works closely with the customer and other key F-35 National Security and Allied stakeholders to deliver quality F-35 systems.
In this role, you will:
Assist with developing the overall MOSA strategy for the JSF Enterprise
Assist in developing and maintaining a JPO MOSA Implementation Guide
Oversee integration/implementation of all standards (UAI, OMS, FACE, HOST, etc) into the JSF platform and training/maintenance environments as appropriate.
Provide oversight of Open Standards conformance verification
Assist with development of strategic roadmap
Review contracts and other MOSA-related documentation
Interface and assist with directing FFRDC support
Develop requirements for MOSA implementation in upcoming capabilities and implementation in major enterprise systems and subsystems (e.g., FUSION, EW, ICNI)
Assist in developing enterprise training material and coordination of MOSA training events
Assist in reviewing, developing new contracts with prime and 3rd party vendors
Monitor and collaborate with various Open Standards consortiums to evaluate and monitor SBIRs and RFIs that may be relevant to the JSF
Assist with maturing the overall JPO MOSA process
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active DoD Secret clearance.
A Master's Degree in the stated discipline or a Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years additional work experience related to the labor category functional description.

Eperience assisting with task support of acquisitions, financial management, risk management, systems engineering, total ownership cost determination, acquisition coordination, and communications.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment to support cost, schedule, performanc, risk management and resource allocation activities.

Position Description

Our Configuration Management (CM) Analyst will have the opportunity to provide most of the support from a Hybrid/Telework schedule and will only have to commute to Crystal City, Arlington, VA 2 days a week. This position supports the F-35 Directorate of Acquisition and Integration (DA&I) in its role managing JPO functions as they relate to business operations, foreign compliance, process improvement, cost, requirements, and acquisition.
In this role, you will:
Design and establish configuration management documentation.
Authorize the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by the JPO and other cross functional groups.
Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.
Plan and implement methods to improve response times and effectiveness.
Participate in special studies.
May provide leadership for lower-level employees and other colleagues at the JPO and in industry.
Provide direction to subordinate CM analysts, or directly perform data management tasks as required by the JPO.
Support DA&I in the management and approval of configuration management/data management by the JPO Change Review Board (JCRB), and JPO Configuration Control Board (JCCB).
Assist the International Directorate in supporting National Deputies and their assistants in representing each of the F-35 Partner nations resident in the program.
Qualifications

Qualifications

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior LHA(R) Machinery Control System (MCS) Test Area Coordinator to join Serco's Amphibious Ship Section. The successful candidate in this position ideally brings unique combination of machinery control systems technical and test expertise. As the Senior LHA(R) MCS Test Area Coordinator, you'll oversee MCS system installation and test tasks, ensuring compliance with contractual controls and processes. Reporting to the Test and Evaluation (T&E) Management Lead, within Serco's Amphibious Ship Section, you'll collaborate closely with the Government Test Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) and their team members to provide support integral to acquisition programs in preliminary and contract design support, detail design and contract support, pre-delivery availability and post-delivery support, operations and sustainment support, or fleet modernization program life cycle support areas. In this role, you will:
Review test plans
Resolve technical issues
Research, design, develope, testing, or supervising the manufacturing and installation of MSC equipment, components, or systems
Participate in failure review boards
Oversee and evaluate operation of equipment during acceptance testing, ship trials, and shakedown cruises
Conduct Configuration Management (CM) by maintaining the integrity of work products using configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits
Assist in maintaining or developing ship specifications and ship drawings, engineering change proposals, and potential work items
Identify risks and proposing solutions
You will also cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Supervisor of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP) Gulf Coast, and other stakeholders by offering support and contributing to satisfying current and future Navy and Marine Corps needs for all current and any future Programs/Platforms under the cognizance of the supported Navy Program Executive Office (PEO) Ships' Amphibious Warfare Program Office (PMS 377).
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Successfully completed a bachelor's professional engineering degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university plus 6 years of relevant Machinery Control System (MCS) experience in an acquisition environment on DoD/Navy Ship or Craft Programs. Military or DoD experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree if 5 or more years of specific work experience can be demonstrated in an analogous or higher-level position.
6 or more years of relevant experience with U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard ship construction, ship repair, or ship maintenance is required. Relevant experience is professional experience of essentially the same scope and complexity as that described in the -Position Description-, above, to include research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of MCS equipment, components, or systems.
Be able to provide technical analyses and services including evaluating and advising the Government of risk areas, risk mitigation opportunities, and opportunities for commonality. Aid with risk reduction of MCS and software integration.
Ability to operate personal computers and have good knowledge and operational abilities with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to support activities in a shipyard or naval facility. Some work will occur within an industrial field office, outdoors and/or aboard ship while the ship is undergoing construction, alteration, activation, overhaul, repair, and/or underway trials. Walking and climbing throughout the ship, to accomplish ship checks, validations, or loadouts, will be required. Exposure to high noise levels, uncomfortable temperatures, heights, or other industrial safety conditions will require use of personal protective clothing and equipment.
Ability to travel 10% to support activities in a shipyard or naval facility or onboard ship while underway.
The right candidate for this role will demonstrate a combination of strong business acumen and the ability to build strong partnerships with business leaders, functional leaders, and shipbuilding professionals.
A current DoD security clearance or be able to obtain an interim clearance after hire. A condition of employment is based on your ability to obtain and maintain your clearance.

You can make a difference with this exciting and 'game-changing' new technology. Your technical expertise and collaborative skills will assist the U.S. Space Command in this critical mission.
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain your Top Secret/SCI access with recent utilization of your SCI within the last year.
Serco supports U.S. Space Command as the prime for their Laser Clearinghouse Technical Support contract providing in-depth technical assistance. Our team conducts studies, analyses, and assessments of potential satellite safety solutions, including deconfliction for the Laser Clearinghouse. Laser-to-satellite deconfliction is based on systems-level and statistical analysis of orbits, satellite sensors, atmospherics, laser parameters, and laser operations.
You will be part of a small team of highly specialized technical experts that works closely with the customer, military laser programs, and satellite owners to ensure safe weapon operations. The team has been recognized by U.S Space Command and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the laser weapon development community.
In this role, you will:
Develop concepts, plans, and procedures for laser systems to implement satellite safety solutions.
Perform in-depth reviews and assessments of laser system technical analyses, test reports, operations concepts, and problem investigations of complex technical issues.
Conduct verification and validation reviews, and analysis and assessments of laser system capabilities for deconfliction and satellite safety. Includes on-site visits and documenting results in reports.
Provide comprehensive reviews and assessments of laser capabilities for satellite safety and documenting results in reports or presentations to the customer.
Operate the laser registration process by tracking status of laser registrations, screening laser technical parameters, coordinating hazard analyses, and preparing hazard category assignment.
Perform probabilistic risk analyses of laser hazards to satellites. Requires use of complex, engineering-level tools.
Develop competence in the customer's Space Deconfliction System (DECON) as well as sophisticated software tools used for laser/satellite deconfliction analysis, satellite susceptibility analysis, and probabilistic risk analysis.
Collaborate extensively with the LCH, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren Division, laser system developers, weapon operators, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active TS/SCI DoD clearance and with recent utilization of your SCI within the last year.

Experience in the fabrication and precision assembly of various mechanical assemblies

The ability to work second, or thirds shift as needed and willing to work more than 40 hours work weeks.

In this role you will:
Assist in the development of internal company policies including the security awareness program to ensure personnel are current on the latest procedures.
Assist in preparing and submitting facility documentation to appropriate Government organizations to maintain facility clearances.
Prepare and submit employee visit requests to support classified visits to include DISS visit requests and paper visit requests as needed.
Assist personnel in completing and updating documentation needed to obtain security clearances and public trust positions by submitting required documentation to DCSA and appropriate agencies according to the DD 254.
Process requests for Common Access Cards and for contract-specific badges.
Support the Corporate Office in providing security-related support as required.
Provide other comparable duties as assigned to maintain an efficient operation in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
Provide consultation to government supervisory personnel as it relates to security policies and procedures and assist the employees in the process established.
Interface with facility and base level managers to provide education, direction, and guidance with regard to security issues, questions, or concerns.
Provide support during formal security inspections and completing an internal review/self-inspection at periodic schedules between government oversight reviews.
Assist with the development of and revision of security plans, procedures, and instructions as necessary in conjunction with the supported personnel.
Present security education and awareness, security briefings, and additional training as required.
May investigate security incidents and/or violations and assist in preparation of applicable reports.
Collect, analyze, and identify the trends and potential causes of security-related incidents.
Support classified computer systems and work with Serco's local ISSO.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Must be able to maintain/transfer your Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance
United States Citizenship is required
Facility Security Officer (FSO) Training must be completed for this position within two months after the start date
A High School diploma/GED

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ability to obtain/maintain an active Secret Clearance
Master's Degree in Business Management or related discipline
Or a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of program analysis and planning experience (14 years total)
Experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline, in weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of six (6) years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning; there must be at least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis.
At least three (3) years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).
Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, deployment, and sustainment ofsystems, subsystems, and equipment.

Position Description
JOIN OUR TEAM to assist and prepare over 200,000 Servicemen and women who separate annually from the United States Military begin a new life chapter as a civilian. Many of those who separate from the military have transition plans while others find becoming a civilian a daunting task. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support these transitioning Servicemen and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP) that is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements and employer outreach.
In this role, you will:
Teaching and/or instructing Military personnel transition to civilian professional and vocational occupations.
Guide the transitioning Military Servicemembers in identifying goals while also assisting them with recognizing any employment or education gaps.
Organize and able to manage an office.
Providing transitioning Servicemembers (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and Veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.
OR an Associate's degree.
Experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes.
Experience as a classroom instructor.
To be knowledgeable of the workplace, jobs, and requirement for entry into those jobs.
To demonstrate the ability to provide training to groups with up to 50 participants.
To be proficient in MS Windows and Office.
The ability to communicate effectively with Military clients, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.
To be available for extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, and be willing to perform administrative functions for the office.
An excellent time management skill, able to work independently, and able to respond to inquiries.
To be able to travel (25%).

Position Description
If you love engaging in high profile administrative projects, then this position is for you! Serco is hiring a dynamic Personnel Employment Assistant to support the Navy Recruiting Command in Columbus, OH.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.51/hour, plus an additional $4.23/hour for Health and Welfare (H&W).
As a Personnel Employment Assistant, you will:
Provide direct support to program administrators by providing administrative services to type, edit, and distribute a wide variety of correspondence under established guidelines and procedures.
Prepare personal awards based on an awards template as well as engraving names and command logo on plaques in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and visitors.
Schedule and plan meetings/appointments as required, including conference calls.
Liaise with staff members, applicants and the general public on a daily basis.
Develop and maintain filing systems for applicant files, general correspondence, forms, reports, minutes, and other materials per direction and procedures.
Assist with distribution, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and preparation of routine correspondence and outgoing materials as needed.
Coordinate, compile, and maintain data for submission in monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
Assist with screening, reviewing and verifying the accuracy of applicant enlistment paperwork and update applicant enlistment documents using secure automated personnel data systems as needed.
Organize, collect, analyze, and present statistical information related to the tracking of applicants, goal attainment, and marketing analysis for both officer and enlisted programs.
Prepare reports for Program Managers and higher level personnel, describing problems that are recurring or causing significant delays or costs, the corrective actions taken, and the need for additional time or resources needed to meet recruiting objectives.
Obtain workload data and track progress in meeting objectives and use of resources via web-based Navy applications and other commercially available web-based programs.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
A High School Diploma or GED (Bachelors degree or Masters degree account for years of experience).
0-2 years of working experience.
10% travel required.
Additional desired experience and skills:
