The Opportunity
USAA is seeking two talented Solutions Management Consultants to join the Life Company Direct Distribution Team. As a Solutions Management Consultant, you will serve as the primary sales coach and on the job training coordinator for the Life Co. MSR distribution channels. Works with Product Owners, Process Owners, Experience Owners, and Compliance stakeholders to evaluate products, advice, and solutions to develop and deliver compliant sales strategies through training and sustainment activities designed to increase specialist effectiveness to meet member needs and business goals.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Applies advanced knowledge of retirement income solutions, life and health insurance products, long term care, investment products and related topics.
Identifies opportunities to enhance product and service offerings to members and increase specialist product knowledge.
Identifies and coordinates the life-cycle training needs of retirement income solutions, life and health insurance products, investment products and related topics as needed.
Evaluates, develops and/or implements educational and training deliverables, such as seminars, white papers, PowerPoints, and coaching sessions, about available solutions to specialists.
Analyzes business unit sales by product to monitor performance and develops and recommends strategies and best practices to meet goals.
Conducts book of business or member analysis to assist specialists in identifying member needs and pipeline management.
Collaborates with specialists to evaluate and/or present solutions and related advice.
Follows defined training routines, effectively reports activity, and manages follow up and sustainment.
Develops and maintains written procedures and ensures they are current and compliant with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree. (Total of 10 years of experience without bachelor's degree)
Required acquisition and/or maintenance of Life/Health license within 90 days of job entry.
Required maintenance of FINRA Series 7
6 years of experience with wholesaling, sales training, and coaching, or related financial services experience.
Experience working with qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, all annuity types (including fixed, variable, and immediate) and individual retirement accounts.
Advanced knowledge of life insurance products to include term, permanent, and health solutions.
Knowledge of relevant industry technology applications, such as Salesforce, Conversant, CRM, MetricStream, NICE and other industry related applications.
Demonstrated experience in developing communications and delivering key information effectively to stakeholders and all levels of management to influence decisions centered around sales and business optimization.
Knowledgeable in the applications of Agile processes and procedures.
Knowledgeable in the application of risk management framework and regulatory requirements for Life Company
What sets you apart:
US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), or RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designations
10 or more years of experience with wholesaling, sales training, and coaching on financial service products.
Previous leadership experience with strong feedback delivery skills
Proven track record of coaching others and driving successful behaviors.
Working experience with Life, Health and Annuity products and ability to articulate complex concepts.
Experience building relationships and working in a matrixed environment .
Strong facilitation skills and experience building presentations.
Experience utilizing financial planning tools (i.e. Life or Retirement income calculations).

The salary range for this position is: $99,160 - $189,530.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance Advisor to own the performance, independent validation and improvement of external reporting data integrity. This entails performing periodic reviews of regulatory filings to evaluate the efficiency of procedures and controls for the purposes of ensuring the completeness of reports submitted to regulators. This position is primarily responsible for the data quality, data governance and data control for financial regulatory reporting data as well as other financial regulatory reports data. The Regulatory Reporting QA function partners with key customers to identify areas of regulatory reporting improvements, including identifying process enhancements.

Experience completing and performing reviews of banking regulatory reports.
Experience in regulatory audit of banks and financial institutions and/or equivalent experience in consulting of FRB reporting process, strongly desired.
Bank regulatory reporting experience (Call report, FR 2900, FR 2644, etc.)
Experience performing analysis/reasonableness checks over data provided for regulatory reporting.
US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.

The Opportunity

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Property Adjuster Specialist , you will work within established guidelines and framework to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will confirm and analyzes coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlements in compliance with all state regulatory requirements.
Property Adjuster Specialist focus on using technology and desk adjusting for a virtual first approach to inspections and claims handling. USAA also provides a company vehicle to physically inspect losses within your locally assigned territory. Field Adjusters may travel outside of their local territory to respond to claims in other regions when needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available.
This is a field-based role in the New Orleans, LA area. Candidates currently living in this location or willing to self-relocate are encouraged to apply.
What you'll do:
Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of complex damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage including potential legal liability.
Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate complex claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.
Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.
Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing information involving complex policy terms and contingencies.
Determines and negotiates complex claims settlement within authority limits. Develops recommendations and collaborates with management for determining settlement amounts outside of authority limits and accurately manages claims outcomes.
Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.
Advance knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools. Utilizes platforms and tools to prepare claims estimates to manage complex property insurance claims.
Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.
May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.
Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.
Works independently solving complex problems with minimal guidance; acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Adjusts complex claims with attorney involvement.
Recognizes and addresses jurisdictional challenges such as applicable legislation and construction considerations.
May require travel to resolve claims, attend training, and conduct in-person inspections.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity losses that includes writing estimates, involving dwelling and structural damages.
Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.
Proficient knowledge of residential construction.
Proficient knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of case law and state laws and regulations.
Proficient negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Proven investigatory, analytical, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel 50-75% of the year (local & non-local) and/or work catastrophe duty when needed.
Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.

Prior experince handling higher severity/complex losses (i.e. vandalism, malicious mischief, foreclosures, earth movement, collapse, liability, etc.)
Prior experience adjusting property claims using virtual technologies
Prior property field adjuster experience handling DWG, APS and ALE adjustments
Industry designations such as AINS, CPCU, AIC, SCLA (or actively pursuing)
Xactimate Level 1 and/or Level 2 certification
Prior deployments in support of catastrophes
Currently hold an active Adjuster License
Currently reside within or have the ability to self-relocate within New Orleans, LA area
Physical Demand Requirements:
May require the ability to crouch and stoop to inspect confined spaces, to include attics and go beneath homes into crawl spaces.
May need to meet all USAA safe driving requirements including verification of driving record through MVR & possession of valid driver's license.
May require the ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds to include lifting a ladder in and out of the trunk of a car.

What you'll do:
Manages the following initiatives on behalf of ICFR Program Management Office (PMO) in support of ICFR related initiatives which may include: Performs and documents ICFR business processes to significant accounts, coordinates and/or facilitates execution of walkthrough schedule/sessions, conducts re-testing activities, supports process owner attestation process, assists with documenting evaluation results in support of final ICFR effectiveness decisions.
Assists in the coordination efforts and facilitation sessions of the annual ICFR walkthrough activities; obtains/develops documentation in support of walkthroughs.
Supports ICFR PMO in advising USAA management over ICFR effectiveness and best practices through walkthrough activities and ICFR monthly meetings, escalating concerns to ICFR PMO management.

4 years' experience in Internal Control Financial Reporting (ICFR), SOX, financial accounting and controls and/or auditing work experience OR at least 2 years of ICFR experience at a Big Four accounting firm.
Demonstrated knowledge in driving adoption of ICFR and collaborating cross-functional teams in planning and executing complex situations.
At least 2 years of progressive related experience developing and delivering results in a complex ICFR matrix environment.
Experience identifying opportunities and proposing ideas for improvement within ICFR controls.
Knowledge of banking, insurance, or investment systems processes, laws and regulations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles with ability to apply during internal reviews and controls.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Process Engineer, the candidate selected for this position will analyze and optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste. This includes process designing, troubleshooting, process optimization, process analysis, process documentation, quality control, project management, process automation and quality assurance. The Opportunity
What you'll do:
We are seeking a dedicated Bank Business Process Consultant Lead.
This position can be based in our San Antonio, TX; Plano, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; Charlotte, NC; Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL offices. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Manages Contact Center quality related Issues and works with business stakeholders to conduct collaborative root cause analysis and develop action plans to mitigate risk. Applies expert knowledge of bank processes and products and acts as a trusted advisor by providing consultation services to internal clients in areas of strategic sourcing, alternatives and solutions, supplier management, affiliate agreement adherence, third party risk management, and bank operations. Collects and consolidates demand and identifies opportunities within the Bank. Executes, oversees and monitors the development of business process related solutions for internal clients and members. Evaluates processes/ resources and develops effective solutions/ improvements/ enhancements to drive the efficient operation of the Bank.
Identifies and implements strategic opportunities and solutions for key stakeholders.
Develops business process enhancements for the Bank that aligns business deliverables, bank strategy and risk management framework. Ensures alignment with customer and appropriate bank roadmap(s) and strategy.
Coaches others and leads acquisition and application of expert knowledge of the business.
Leads planning & execution and directs and coordinates activities for highly complex projects.
Applies a holistic understanding of risk and regulatory compliance to includes business strategies and solutions.
Manages risks by using established methodologies and exercising control plans to ensure alignment with CoSA specific requirements, process requirements, and business needs.
Provides consultation to influence and ensure CoSA level and business level processes address risk across all activities.
Reviews, advises, and develops communication plans for customers and internal stakeholders.
Ensures alignment between internal stakeholders and customers across all business process projects and services using proactive communication and engagement strategies.
Utilizes data and analytics to deliver insight into customer and business process performance, identifying opportunities to influence customer and business process activities and inform key stakeholders.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree (12 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
8 years of experience in business process consultation, process design, developing business processes, procedures, measures, metrics.
Expert knowledge of bank products and processes.
Experience leading programs/projects, business process owner/consultant or working in an agile environment.
Extensive experience in applying quality management, process improvement, and leveraging process improvement tools and methodologies.
Experience applying retail bank subject matter expertise to simplify the customer experience, standardize process execution, and automate where possible.
Expert experience/ knowledge of Risk Management frameworks and Banking Regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of business processes.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $120,550-$230,440 .

As a dedicated Capacity Planner Lead for Fraud Production, you will be responsible for modifying predictive models and forecasting workforce assumptions based on business intelligence to support operational workforce capacity planning and forecasting for USAA sales, service, and claims environments. Applies innovative quantitative analytical approaches for developing recommendations which resolve business problems, drive solutions and process improvements, and assess capacity impacts of operational injects. Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure processes, procedures and systems provide accurate and reliable capacity planning and financial alignment for yearly budgeting and re-forecasting processes.

The Opportunity
Conducts CoSA and Enterprise complex specific scenario modeling and gap analysis that reflects multi-skill forecasted workforce variables, projects, and operational objectives including accurate and timely workforce predictions for budgeting, planning and pipeline exercises.
Gathers, influences, and applies business intelligence from CoSA leaders and support partners as well as emerging trends that drive model injects to improve forecast accuracy.
Leads the development of complex or unique short-term and/or long-term tactical and strategic capacity plans that reflect internally prepared forecasted workforce factors, shrinkage, attrition, and staffing both internal and 3P.
Prepares written documentation and summaries on findings for delivery to executives.
Provides expert knowledge of the business, various channels, routing strategies and their applications and processes.
Provides organizational and industry thought leadership, guidance and recommendations related to business or contact center operations policy and procedures, including an understanding of service objectives and business or contact center analytics.
Consults with 3P relationship management team and suppliers on demand and supply trends to improve execution of short and long-term capacity plans.
Leads discussions with internal and cross functional teams to understand, collaborate and influence solution strategies of highly complex business objectives.

What you have:

8 years of experience in workforce management to include the utilization of workforce management tools & data analysis tools, telecommunications tools, contact routing and/or workload delivery systems.
Demonstrated ability to influence change vertically and horizontally across the Enterprise.
Expert level experience using diverse data applications/visualization tools such as SAS, Tableau, NICE WFM, Genesys Decisions or other capacity modeling tools.
Extensive experience developing strategies and building complex models to maximize business or contact center performance and influence financial impacts.
Subject matter expertise and comprehensive understanding of business or contact center operations across all functions with experience improving business or contact center operations policy and procedures.
Demonstrated experience performing regression analysis.
Demonstrated experience communicating complex capacity planning topics to a variety of audiences, including executive management, to influence change, mitigate risk, and/or support change management.
