The Opportunity
Join our growing team as a Financial Crimes Reporting Analyst Senior. Our mission is to empower, educate, and advocate for our members while enhancing their ability to protect themselves against fraud and scams. As a Financial Crimes Reporting Analyst Senior, you will play a key role in shaping, executing, and monitoring the project portfolio management and reporting, collaborator communications and closing package and artifact delivery. This role will be responsible for reporting to senior leadership on key deliverables and achievements for fraud-based programs, projects, and initiatives.
What you'll do:
Facilitates business projects of high complexity, size and visibility ensuring collaborators champion decision making data needs.
Leads or directs the design, development and implementation and provides oversight of the maintenance of complex and sometimes unique business solutions, which may include data, reporting, business intelligence or analytics.
Applies a comprehensive understanding of multiple data structures and sources to Lead or direct complex and sometimes unique data manipulation using sophisticated data extraction and analytical tools and techniques.
Recognizes the connection between the business operations and analytics to influence business strategies and solutions.
Develops innovative reporting and story-telling approaches to address business problems and solutions.
Responsible for ensuring operational reports are complete, provide accurate data, and in compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements.
Coordinates inputs from multiple sources, synthesizes data / information and creates qualitative commentary gathering key messages.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
6 years of experience in data analysis/extraction, statistics, data management, analytics and/or data reporting.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Advanced knowledge of data reporting/analysis tools and techniques and ability to use SQL and/or Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Comprehensive understanding of compliance, risk management, and data security frameworks.
Experience in creating automated reports and interactive visualizations using tools such as Python and Tableau.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and execute among cross-functional teams, including all levels of the organization and with external regulatory agencies.
Experience with KPI Monitoring and Reporting, Project Portfolio Management & Reporting; Stakeholder Communications
Experience in regulatory environments assembling closing packages & artifact delivery for major projects.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulatory, compliance, industry regulations and regulatory data source related to fraud and/or financial crimes.
Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Fraud Governance Advisor Senior, you will promote risk and compliance-awareness and the overall effectiveness of risk and compliance management programs, risk analytics and operations in the Financial Crimes Organization. You will partner and collaborate with Compliance and Risk Management, as well as Business Operations, IT, Audit Services, and Legal to support risk and compliance-based initiatives. You will be responsible for supporting business leader adherence to the established risk framework to ensure documents, programs, processes, procedures and product initiatives align with regulatory, legal requirements, and fraud policies and standards; including process, risk and control inventory (PRCI), risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), identification and evaluation of control effectiveness, identifying control failures, facilitating risk and compliance remediation, and monitoring of the first line of defense to minimize risk exposures and strengthen the overall control environment. You will manage risk assessment data and use critical thinking to identify key data-driven insights tied to first line of defense.
What you'll do:
Guides and facilitates cross-functional team members in the implementation, management, and oversight of fraud risk management workstreams, projects and solutions.
Applies subject matter expertise of fraud risk management requirements, policies, laws, and regulations to influence business strategies and solutions and advise the business on how to strengthen and lead fraud risk requirements on business action plans, projects, or operational requests.
Contributes to the execution of risk assessments with business partners and the lines of business to resolve impact and solutions.
Identifies operational inefficiencies and emerging fraud management risks, compliance, and control issues in the operating environment, concurrent with implementing action plans to mitigate business impact.
Provides guidance to functional areas within Enterprise Fraud Management on regulatory requirements and requests to ensure proper execution of conduct examinations.
Leads and responds to regulatory requirements and requests and ensures the execution of conduct examinations.
Periodically briefs executive management on enterprise projects and initiatives that may impact fraud risk.
Serves as a mentor to peers and team members for assigned area of responsibility.
Develops and executes training plans tied to fraud risk management through understanding of regulatory and industry trends.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
6 years of operations experience in a relevant functional area to include financial services, Fraud, AML, compliance, risk, audit, third party risk management or other related operational areas that support fraud risk management initiatives within the business.
4 years of fraud, compliance, risk, audit, or regulatory related experience with accountability for projects, programs, processes, or policies.
Proven knowledge of relevant laws, regulatory, compliance, industry regulations and regulatory data sources.
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities requiring a high attention to detail to identify fraud risks and trends.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and execute among cross-functional teams, including all levels of the organization and with external regulatory agencies.
Knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations, to include: PCI, REG CC, REG E, UCC, FCRA, BSA/AML, Elder Financial Exploitation guidance, OCC Fraud Risk Management 2019-37.

As a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist Senior for Disputes, you will support USAA's financial strength through measurement, analysis, and review of quality assurance and compliance related business processes. Responsible for implementing quality assurance and first-level reviews of business processes which involve reviewing documentation to ensure activities are in line with USAA's policies and procedures. The Opportunity
As a dedicated Fraud Governance Advisor Senior, you will promote risk and compliance-awareness and the overall effectiveness of risk and compliance management programs, risk analytics and operations in the Financial Crimes Organization. The Opportunity
As a dedicated Fraud Governance Advisor Senior, you will promote risk and compliance-awareness and the overall effectiveness of risk and compliance management programs, risk analytics and operations in the Financial Crimes Organization. You will partner and collaborate with Compliance and Risk Management, as well as Business Operations, IT, Audit Services, and Legal to support risk and compliance-based initiatives.
