The Opportunity
As a dedicated Product Development Director for our Auto Modernization Team , you will be accountable for developing new products, overseeing, and managing the launch and maturation of new products into target strategic markets. Acting as a cross functional expert, this position provides expertise and support for product line initiatives related to product development, compliance, operational and process improvements, claims management, vendor management, product documentation, fulfillment, and/or system releases.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Responsible for development of digital first products supporting the needs and risks of USAA Members
Leads development and launch of new innovative product offerings as well as auxiliary/enhanced features/services for existing products.
Develops recommendations to launch new products and the evaluation and decision to buy/build or ally for individual product(s).
Generates creative product and coverage solutions for member needs to ensure a dynamic product development pipeline exists.
Responsible for maintaining thorough level of knowledge of business and underwriting performance for products in scope (e.g., trends, results, etc.)
Responsible for post-launch monitoring, maintenance and underwriting of -new in market- products based on product performance, member needs and competitive changes in the market including but not limited to product rules, rates, and forms.
Conducts complex analysis of internal and external data and member information to support formulation of product strategy and enhance competitive intelligence.
Develops and communicates the new product value proposition for individual products.
Ensures sales support is delivered to all distribution channels (e.g., .com, mobile, contact center) so that the new product is properly positioned to members.
Leads the analysis and evaluation of new product performance metrics to make changes to offerings, if necessary, prior to full launch
Coordinates with relevant control partners (to include Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management) to ensure product offerings are designed and implemented in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related discipline; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years relevant experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing, Operations, Financial Services or relevant military experience.
Extensive experience in developing, deploying and supporting product and/or integrated suite of products.
Experience working through agile product development process, managing multiple products simultaneously.
Knowledge and application of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).
Creative problem solver with hands on experience in problem framing, qualitative & quantitative research, running product experiments, hypothesis testing and prototyping to launch products at the intersection of Human, Technology and Business dimensions.
Navigates through ambiguous contexts with confidence.
Ability to break large complex initiatives into smaller manageable features and capabilities and deliver them early and often.
What sets you apart:
Technical P&C product knowledge, specifically Auto, Homeowners, Renters, etc.,
Experience working with P&C platforms that support the entire insurance lifecycle such as Guidewire, DuckCreek, etc.,
Product Development and Design experience, including bringing large scale product enhancements and new products to market start to finish.
Experience with technology transformation, to include prior policy migration/conversion strategy experience, in the P&C industry.
Proven ability to gain broad cross-functional alignment and organizational sponsorship for strategic initiatives.

The salary range for this position is: $120,550.00 - $230,400.00 .

As a dedicated Director Information Governance, you will [lead and help ensure that both consuming and producing stewards of (ERC) Enterprise Risk and Compliance organization's data are aware of and implement, all of the necessary data governance requirements as outlined in USAA's Enterprise Data Governance Standards. This includes the 90+ Critical Risk Reports as well as all of ERC's data assets. Directs and collaborates with business and IT partners on using information governance, data quality, information architecture and information asset management capabilities in support of achieving business operations and strategic goals and objectives.
Advises all levels of leadership on institutionalizing and maturing information governance, data management, data quality, information architecture and information asset management capabilities to include providing advice on mitigating risk and satisfying and addressing risk and regulatory requirements related to information governance and management.
Partners with business, risk, compliance, architecture, and IT teams to drive effectiveness and value of information governance, data management, data quality, information architecture and information asset management processes to the business.
Ensures team understands how the information management activities they are responsible for align with information governance, data management, data quality, information architecture, technical solutions, and information asset management activities performed by other teams.
Directs team in work assignments, problem resolution, risk mitigation, and producing quality work.
Provides the leadership, motivation, oversight and environment necessary for building hard-working teams that collaborate with enterprise partners in defining information governance, data quality, information architecture and information asset management capabilities that delivers business value, outcomes and solves business challenges.

What you have:
Bachelor's Degree in Data and Analytics, Information Technology, Business, Finance, Risk, Audit or a related field of study; OR 4 years of related experience in information governance, information management, information technology or risk management (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years of experience in Information or Data related practices to include: information governance, data management, information management, information architecture, IT, risk, audit, analysis and reporting.
OR Advanced degree in Information Architecture, Information Management, Information Studies, Risk, Audit, Information Technology or a related technical field and 6 years experience in Information or Data related practices as noted above.
3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
Expert knowledge of industry information/data governance standard methodologies, information technology standard processes and architecture roadmaps and capabilities maps.
Experience leading teams, peers and leadership levels across complex problem-solving activities, domains, or regulatory drivers at an Enterprise or data domain levels.
Experience leading developing, or operationalizing data management and/or data governance policies, standards, processes, procedures & technologies.
Experience leading agile delivery activities across people, process, and technology.

We have an exciting opportunity to share with you. USAA's Catastrophe Team is seeking experienced Auto Adjusters to join the Dedicated Auto Catastrophe Team (ACT). In this role you will handle repairable and total loss claims for catastrophe designated and/or weather surge events. ACT adjusters will operate in a file ownership environment, being accountable for the entire member end-2-end claim experience. This team will also work closely with the APD CAT team and Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) providers for a consistent, seamless end-to-end claim experience. As a dedicated Sr Auto Adjuster, you will adjust highly complex auto insurance claims presented by or against our members to include the end-to-end claims process and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. Accountable for delivering best in class service, through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and empathy.
What you 'll do:
Investigates and determines coverage and liability, evaluates, negotiates, and settles highly complex auto claims such as comprehensive (i.e., theft and fire), collision (i.e., minimal policy limits, coverage determinations/issues, attorney representation, non-owned vehicles, mechanical breakdown, property damage lawsuits) property damage liability, uninsured motorist property damage, and rental vehicle coverages for repairable vehicles and total losses.

Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines, and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate.
Interacts with multiple parties to gather information (police reports, recorded statements, witness statements) determine liability.

Evaluates and negotiates settlement of automobile first and third-party physical damage claims within established settlement authority limits and negotiates any excessive storage charges.

The Opportunity
What you'll do:
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for MSR acquisition; oversees and directs the operations of the MSR team to avoid losses, achieve profit plan, and manage the MSR asset within established risk appetite.
Responsible for establishing the net present value of held MSRs through the utilization of complex cash flow models, and valuing bulk portfolios.
Monitors, analyzes, and reports the performance of existing hedges to senior executive management.
Sponsors, leads, and oversees initiatives to enhance current valuation processes by defining project requirements and designing and building the analytic solutions to increase efficiencies.
Establishes MSR value sensitivity to various factors and analyzes changes in MSR values to identify risk and drive strategy. Presents analysis to senior executive management, to include board committee members, ALCO and the OCC.
Develops internal valuation policy and procedures, identifies gaps in the policies, and determines solutions to improve the process.
Interfaces with and responds to internal and external auditors and the OCC during exams and other requests from regulators.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated investigator, you will protect USAA and our members from potential fraudulent claims by investigating complex fraud investigations with significant financial impact to USAA which may involve Legal Counsel, government agencies and outside consultants in compliance with state laws and regulations for an assigned operational specialty team.

Leads the execution of fraud prevention strategies and investigative operations.
Leads high exposure, high profile and sensitive work assignments, and special investigations involving complex specialized fraud referrals, (examples: organized provider rings, staged accidents, large losses of significant exposure and broad scale PIP/Casualty Schemes) across multiple entities or functions.
Applies advanced knowledge of P&C insurance industry products, services, and processes in investigating claims. This includes P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages and claims handling process and procedures.
Applies advanced knowledge of state laws and regulations pertaining to insurance fraud in investigating claims.
Processes large quantities of unstructured detailed information with high levels of accuracy by collecting evidence of potential fraud through field or remote interviews and thorough searches of investigative databases, internal resources, Internet resources, public records, and forensic tools.
Makes appropriate and prompt decisions to identify potential complex fraud within defined guidelines.
Prepares and presents detailed and comprehensive verbal and written investigative reports summarizing the results and outcome of the investigation.

What sets you apart:
5+ years of product management and product design experience and execution, preferably within Deposits
Risk and Change management experience including ability to apply, develop and execute risk management principles, risk assessments, control design, and risk reporting
Outstanding analytical skillset and critical thinking (i.e., ability to compile, interpret and analyze data to make fact-based recommendations)

The salary range for this position is: $132,500 - $253,220.

The Opportunity
This role sits in Bank Omnichannel and is responsible for the compliant execution of banking and regulatory activities and projects that directly support the implementation and optimization of the periodic review for bank operational communications. Responsible for leveraging insights to implement improvements to optimize the performance and relevancy of bank operational communications as it relates to periodic reviews.
As a dedicated Bank Business Process Consultant Senior, you will apply advanced knowledge of bank processes and products and act as a trusted advisor by providing consultation services to internal clients in areas of strategic sourcing, alternatives and solutions, supplier management, affiliate agreement adherence, third party risk management, and bank operations. Collect and consolidate demand and find opportunities, within the Bank. Execute and supervise the development of business process related solutions for internal clients and members. Evaluate processes/ resources and develop effective solutions/ improvements/ enhancements to drive the efficient operation of the Bank.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Engage with key partners to implement balanced strategic solutions.
Develop business process improvements for the Bank that aligns business results, bank strategy and risk management framework.
Lead planning and execution efforts and coordinate activities for highly complex projects.
Apply a comprehensive understanding of risk and regulatory compliance to manage risks by using established methodologies and exercising control plans to ensure alignment with bank specific goals and process requirements.
Provide consultation to influence and ensure process is crafted to address risk across all activities.
Review and develop communication and change management plans for customers and internal partners to drive awareness on current processes and/or changes.
Ensure alignment between internal partners and customers across all business process projects and services using proactive communication and engagement strategies.
Apply data and analytics to deliver insight into customer and business process performance, find opportunities to influence customer and business process activities and advise key partners.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are efficiently identified, measured, supervised, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
6 years of experience in business process consulting, process design and/or program/project management experience.
Advanced knowledge of bank products and processes.
Experience in implementing and sustaining change/improvements.
Experience in applying quality management, process improvement, and leveraging process improvement tools and methodologies.
Experience applying retail bank subject matter expertise to simplify the customer experience, standardize process execution, and automate where possible.
Expert experience/ knowledge of Risk Management frameworks and Banking Regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of business processes.
