WSP is currently initiating a search for a Street Zero Vision Program Manager ! This position can sit out of any mutually agreed WSP US Office .
The Street Zero Vision Program Manager will lead the development, implementation, and management of Vision Zero initiatives aimed at eliminating traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries on streets. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and program evaluation to advance the city's commitment to road safety and ensure a holistic approach to traffic safety management.
Your Impact
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Management:
Develop and implement Vision Zero strategies, policies, and programs.
Create and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with city departments, agencies, and external partners to align efforts and resources.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze traffic accident data to identify trends, risk factors, and high-priority areas.
Prepare regular reports on program progress, performance metrics, and outcomes.
Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve program effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with community organizations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to promote Vision Zero goals.
Conduct public outreach and educational campaigns to raise awareness about traffic safety.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and forums to gather input and feedback from the community.
Policy and Advocacy:
Advocate for policy changes and infrastructure improvements that support Vision Zero objectives.
Stay informed about best practices, new technologies, and legislative developments related to traffic safety.
Work with elected officials and policymakers to advance Vision Zero initiatives.
Program Evaluation and Improvement:
Monitor and evaluate the impact of Vision Zero programs and initiatives.
Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations based on evaluation findings.
Ensure continuous improvement through regular assessments and updates to program strategies.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage budgets for Vision Zero projects and initiatives.
Allocate resources effectively and ensure cost-efficiency in program implementation.
Seek and apply for grants and funding opportunities to support Vision Zero activities.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.
15+ years of relevant post education experience in Transportation Planning, Traffic Safety, or Program Management, with a focus on Vision Zero or related safety initiatives.
Equivalent Licensure in related field of industry.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent project management abilities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of traffic safety principles, urban planning, and relevant regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, GIS software, and other relevant tools.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Your Impact
- Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
- Learn basic principles of Geology.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Provides high level technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase activities to validate construction, integrity, operability, and the commissioning of building systems and facilities projects in the public and private sector. Responsibilities include the planning, directing, coordinating, testing, and commissioning and retro commissioning of building systems including HVAC, steam, compressed air, chilled water, plumbing, and automation. Your Impact

Your Impact

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Project Controller to join our expanding, Earth and Environment (E&E) Project Management group based in San Jose, CA.
The Senior Project Controller will be involved in selected stages of a project's life cycle (i.e. Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and/or Closure) for consulting services related to earth and environment projects including site characterization and remediation, environmental permitting and compliance, water/wastewater treatment, and mining. Most components of this role will relate to engineering and/or environmental consulting scopes. Provides high level technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase activities to validate construction, integrity, operability, and the commissioning of building systems and facilities projects in the public and private sector. Responsibilities include the planning, directing, coordinating, testing, and commissioning and retro commissioning of building systems including HVAC, steam, compressed air, chilled water, plumbing, and automation.
