Your Impact
Onsite Client support for ESRI ArcPro skills, Data Driven Pages/Map creation and publication, GIS Analysis, Spatial Data Analytics, Metadata, Data Editing, QAHands-on software development solutions for ESRI Web Apps, ESRI .NET custom applications, ESRI thick, thin and mobile custom applictions, GIS Python Scripting, R-Shiny, PowerBI, Tableau dashboard, SQL, with understanding of Javascript and Open Source GIS development frameworks
Hands-on knowledge of enterprise Geodatabase (PostGIS, MSSQL, or Oracle) design, deployment, operations and maintenance, model builder, Python scripting, data ETL and full suite of spatial data analytics (Network, Spatial, 3D, Geoanalytics, Operational Analytics)
Ability to translate business/functional requirements to functional software development process
Ability to complete assignments on-time and budget, discuss risk/benefit, develop or review the following materials: use cases, statistics, database schemas, test cases, implementation guides, users guides, administration guides
Successfully work as part of an integral team member in english written and oral formats
Complete training on assigned tasks.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Transportation Planning, Computer Science/IT related field, or Transportation Engineering (specializing in Enterprise-scale GIS and GIS solutions integration and development).
Minimum 1-3 years proven experience in ESRI .NET, GIS Python scripting, SQL, C#, C++, software development and data analysis skillsets, with an delivery Agile mindset.
Development background and in depth experience with ArcGIS Server, ESR WebApps, SDE, R-Shiny, Python languages .
PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL, MSSQL, Hadoop, or Oracle geodatabase design and data structures.
Working knowledge of Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and GIT.
Working knowledge of current application UI standards (HTML, CSS and human interfaces).
Key leadership roles in software development team and application development deliverables.
Understanding of Transportation market, client requirements and datasets.
A thorough knowledge and understanding of software project management (including budget/schedule requirements and effects on development methods and associated architectures).
Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.

Preference for current/active GISP certification.

Your Impact
Preferred emphasis on AEP project delivery experience for the US Navy & NAVFAC.
Work as part of a team leading design projects, stakeholder interviews, existing conditions analysis, as well as presentations for Clients and other meetings as required.
Responsible for managing design process and provision of high value technical expertise for relevant projects as assigned by the Project leadership.
Coordinate with other team members and technical disciplines (Clients, Site Managers, Mechanical/ Electrical/ Structural/ Civil Engineers and Planning staff) for all facets related to design program implementation and construction. Prepare and conduct design review workshops.
Develop construction documents for a wide range of Federal projects.
Conduct on-site observations and compliance checks, as well as facility condition assessments.

Supervise and mentor junior members of the team.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering or Architecture.

Duties and Responsibilities:
. Prepare conceptual design of the complex projects
. Carry out/review/analyze complex technical studies and project scopes.
. Develop and review technical specifications, drawings and standards of equipment/ projects.
. Review the design-based memorandum, Protection philosophy and Description, detailed engineering scope and guide the assigned discipline engineers to align the engineering deliverables per project requirements.
. Work closely with peers to ensure accurate delivery and thorough electrical design that will meet industry standards and specifications and meet good engineering practices.
. Create a complete substation P&C design including One-Line, Three-line, AC/DC Schematics, and Wiring Diagrams.
. Develop cable table and cable / wiring schedules.
. Develop P&C panel and rack front view drawings, Control building arrangement drawings.
. Develop LVAC, LVDC, battery and charger, CT &VT calculation and sizing.
. Maintain complete project documentation with respect to engineering studies and calculations, all design packages, as-built requirements and return data information.
. Develop & maintain good working relationship with internal groups that support project such as other Engineering disciplines, Drafting, Procurement, Construction and Project Management etc.
. Select equipment and material and preparation of specifications for material, equipment, construction and installation work.
. Develop relay setting calculations and coordination report.
. Review of internal and external designs for code compliance, good design practice and constructability.
. Coordinate design activities with other multi-discipline project team members.
. Provide construction support including resolving site queries, attending site meetings and performing site inspections during the construction phase of projects.
. Mentor and provide guidance to developing Jr. engineers within the department.
. Support technical proposals and pursers

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
. A minimum of 5+ years' experience in, utility scale, substation protection and control design.
. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is an asset
. Experience on System study - P&C and ARC-Flash study software like PSCAD, PSS/E, ASPEN, EasyPower or ETAP is a strong plus.
. Experience on relay setting and coordination is a must.
. Experience in the design of wiring schematics is a must.
. Experience in SEL and GE relay programming is desirable.
. Knowledge of modern power system, power system protection and relay technologies.
. Knowledge of Renewable projects (Solar, Wind farm, Hydro and BESS) and data center projects is a strong plus.
. Strong client focus.
. Experience with Station equipment FAT witness is an asset.
. Experience with IEC61850 will be a strong plus.
. Knowledge of High Voltage & Utility codes and standards.

Drive the overall long-term strategy, growth, and pipeline development of Mechanical Engineering work for WSP in assigned area of responsibility, with a focus on infrastructure opportunities in all disciplines (planning, design, and strategic consulting and program/construction management).

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
15+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering, mechanical, and infrastructure design.
Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).

WSP is currently seeking a Senior Marine Mammal Specialist to support our U.S. East Coast service area with a variety of offshore, energy, restoration, infrastructure, and other environmental projects. This team member will be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that is passionate about meeting our client's objectives and solving their challenges across a wide range of disciplines. The primary office location for this position is flexible and could potentially be based in any number of WSP's East Coast offices including, but not limited to: Herndon, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Richmond, VA; Baltimore, MD; Washington, D.C.; Morristown, NJ; Buffalo, NY; New York, NY; Boston, MA; Portland, ME; or Wilmington, NC. This position will be responsible for supporting the development of environmental and permitting documents and interacting with client and regulatory agencies. Our successful candidate must have strong technical research and writing skills with educational emphasis and experience in marine mammal biology and behavior in response to environmental stressors, particularly acoustic signals. This position requires the evaluation and permitting of environmental impacts associated with a range of project development goals, often within a short timeframe. The candidate shall have practical knowledge and experience with applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations including proficiency in acquiring regulatory approvals and/or managing project compliance with regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor's degree (or post-graduate degree) in Marine Biology, Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology, or related discipline.
Experience supporting offshore environmental projects, habitat impact assessments, permitting and/or construction monitoring (environmental consulting experience preferred).
Knowledge of major federal statutes and implementing regulations related to coastal and marine environments, including NEPA, MSA, ESA, and CZMA. Experience developing an Essential Fish Habitat Assessment a plus.

WSP is currently seeking a Marine Mammal Specialist to support our U.S. East Coast service area with a variety of offshore, energy, restoration, infrastructure, and other environmental projects. This team member will be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that is passionate about meeting our client's objectives and solving their challenges across a wide range of disciplines. The primary office location for this position is flexible and could potentially be based in any number of WSP's East Coast offices including, but not limited to: Herndon, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Richmond, Va; Baltimore, MD; Washington, D.C.; Morristown, NJ; Buffalo, NY; New York, NY; Boston, MA; Portland, ME; or Wilmington, NC. This position will be responsible for supporting the development of environmental and permitting documents and interacting with client and regulatory agencies. Our successful candidate must have strong technical research and writing skills with educational emphasis and experience in marine mammal biology and behavior in response to environmental stressors, particularly acoustic signals. This position requires the evaluation and permitting of environmental impacts associated with a range of project development goals, often within a short timeframe. The candidate shall have practical knowledge and experience with applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations including proficiency in acquiring regulatory approvals and/or managing project compliance with regulatory requirements. Your Impact
Support a broad range of coastal and marine-based projects including linear infrastructure (e.g., transit, fiber optic, and transmission lines), offshore energy installations, coastal habitat restoration, and/or port development primarily within the U.S. Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, with additional opportunities along the West Coast and Gulf of Mexico.
Support permitting activities for a range of infrastructure, energy, and coastal development projects subject to regulation under federal law (e.g., Clean Water Act [CWA], Coastal Zone Management Act [CZMA], Endangered Species Act [ESA], Marine Mammal Protection Act [MMPA], National Environmental Policy Act [NEPA], etc.).
Complete environmental analysis and technical reports based on the best available scientific information including peer-reviewed literature, agency reports, and site-specific data to evaluate a particular environmental problem or issue, verify site characteristics, and/or to plan for future environmental protection and monitoring measures.
Analyze potential impacts on marine species from proposed nearshore and offshore activities, including acoustical impacts to protected marine species (i.e., marine mammals, sea turtles, and ESA-listed fish species).
Assess potential anthropogenic impacts on marine mammal populations due to harassment or harm from acoustic effects, vessel interactions, habitat conversion, and associated cumulative impacts.
Consult with regulatory staff and stakeholder organizations on marine mammal issues and concerns.
Support the development of proposals for potential future project work related to marine mammals and other protected species.
Work efficiently within culturally and geographically diverse cross-functional teams in executing project work.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor's degree (or other post-graduate degree) in Marine Biology, Marine Science, or related discipline.
Experience supporting offshore environmental projects, habitat impact assessments, permitting and/or construction monitoring (environmental consulting experience preferred).
Experience in preparing a NOAA Fisheries Incidental Harassment Authorization application and/or ESA Biological Assessment highly preferred.
Working knowledge of NOAA Fisheries acoustic criteria for protected marine mammals and the principles of underwater acoustics. Familiarity with acoustic thresholds for other ESA-listed species also preferred.
Experience in acoustic modeling using statistical software (e.g., R, Matlab) preferred.

Under general supervision, perform structural analysis, design, and assessment of building structures.
Under general supervision, prepare basis of designs, detailed design calculations, other technical and professional deliverables.

WSP is currently seeking an Marine Benthic Specialist to support our U.S. East Coast service area with a variety of offshore, energy, restoration, infrastructure, and other environmental projects. This team member will be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that is passionate about meeting our client's objectives and solving their challenges across a wide range of disciplines. The primary office location for this position is flexible and could potentially be based in any number of WSP's East Coast offices including, but not limited to: Herndon, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Richmond, VA; Palm Beach, FL; Baltimore, MD; Washington, D.C.; Morristown, NJ; Buffalo, NY; New York, NY; Boston, MA; Portland, ME; or Wilmington, NC. Who You Are
Support a broad range of coastal and marine-based projects including linear infrastructure (e.g., transit, fiber optic, and transmission lines), offshore energy installations, coastal habitat restoration, and/or port development primarily within the U.S. Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, with additional opportunities along the West Coast and Gulf of Mexico.
Support permitting activities for a range of infrastructure, energy, and coastal development projects subject to regulation under federal law (e.g., Clean Water Act [CWA], Coastal Zone Management Act [CZMA], Endangered Species Act [ESA], Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act [MSA], National Environmental Policy Act [NEPA], etc.).
Complete environmental analysis and technical reports based on the best available scientific information including peer-reviewed literature, agency reports, and site-specific data to evaluate a particular environmental problem or issue, verify site characteristics, and/or to plan for future environmental protection and monitoring measures.
Design, review, and execute benthic sampling plans for large linear infrastructure projects to collect data in support of permits.
Analyze potential impacts on marine benthic species and habitats from proposed nearshore and offshore activities and develop appropriate mitigation and monitoring plans.
Manage and budget multiple project tasks.
Synthesize and summarize large amounts of information contained in design plans, regulatory files, environmental permits, and other environmental documentation.
Collect and document field data and observations in a clear and organized manner utilizing appropriate sampling and monitoring equipment.
Analyze, evaluate, and interpret field and analytical data obtained during field investigations.
Use advanced statistical data analysis techniques to evaluate findings, make recommendations, and prepare written and verbal reports. Prepare data tables and visualizations such as charts, graphs, and illustrations.
Prepare environmental planning documents and outreach materials for governmental, non-profit, and/or commercial clients.
Consult with regulatory staff and stakeholder organizations on marine habitat issues and concerns.
Support the development of proposals for potential future project work related to marine benthic community and habitat effects.
Work efficiently within culturally and geographically diverse cross-functional teams in executing project work.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Your Impact
Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience and a bachelor's degree (or post-graduate degree) in Marine Biology, Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology, or related discipline.
Experience supporting offshore environmental projects, habitat impact assessments, permitting and/or construction monitoring (environmental consulting experience preferred).
Knowledge of major federal statutes and implementing regulations related to coastal and marine environments, including NEPA, MSA, ESA, and CZMA. Experience developing an Essential Fish Habitat Assessment a plus.
Working knowledge of offshore energy policies/regulations and familiarity with one or more U.S. East Coast state regulations a plus
Experience conducting marine benthic field surveys.
Knowledge of benthic species' ecology and habitats along the U.S. along the U.S. Mid-Atlantic and/or Northeast coasts.
Knowledge of relevant research, laboratory analysis, and statistical evaluation methods.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills. Experience with expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a scientific and non-scientific audience a plus.
Effective self-leadership with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to learn and apply new techniques, follow instruction, and work both independently and in a team.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, and identify the most effective manner to accomplish objectives of assigned projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Proficiency in the application of statistical software (e.g., R, MATLAB, PRIMER, SAS) is highly preferred.
