POSITION SUMMARY:

In this position you will be operating equipment such as haul truck and excavator. Job Description

LeMay , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Class A CDL Driver to join the team at our Hauling location in Centralia, WA . This will be a Tractor-Trailer long-haul position based out of LeMay in Centralia and delivering to Cowlitz County Landfill 3-4 times a day. Previous waste experience would be a huge plus !

Shift will be Monday through Friday, start time between 5-6 am. May work some Saturdays as well.

Pay will be starting at $29.50/hr.

Essential Functions :

• Performs complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections including, but not limited to, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls.

• Drives Class A truck from LeMay to Cowlitz County Landfill down the I5 corridor.

• Climbs into and out of truck at disposal area(s).

• Backing into bays at the transfer station

• Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers, and supervisors.

• Reads and maintains, in sequential order, tablet, follows map and services each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by dispatcher and/or supervisor.

• Completes required route/productivity sheets, Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) and other forms.

• Performs driver check-in procedures upon returning to the facility at the end of the day Follows all safety policies and procedures as well as attend weekly safety meetings.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Equivalent of high school diploma or GED certification

• Valid Class A with air brakes endorsement

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repairs include but are not limited to, routine maintenance and repairing engines chassis and body components, hydraulic cylinders, brake systems, suspension systems, cooling systems, wheels and tires.
