Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with a rotating Saturday schedule, 45 -50 hour work week.

Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
Ability to operate heavy equipment is required.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance.

Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns. Class B CDL preferred or ability to obtain in the future.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Work environment may be indoors in a shop, or outdoors to repair trucks on the road. Usually well-lighted and ventilated. Sometimes necessary to work in awkward or tight positions and to handle greasy or dirty tools. These factors require following basic safety precautions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Valid drivers license
Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
Minimum 5 year of experience preferred

Waste Connections is looking to hire a CDL Driver at our site in Alexandria, LA. In this position you will be operating a Garbage Truck servicing our residential customers. This position is very physical and works outside in all weather conditions.
The schedule is Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday's. 3:00 a.m. or 4:00 a.m. start time, working 10-12 hour shift.
Pay is $17/hr., excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, vacation and year round OT.
Requirements:
Class A or B Commercial Drivers License.

In this position you will be responsible for making a high volume of outbound collection calls on delinquent accounts, taking customer payments over the phone, setting up payment arrangements, and working to resolve problems that arise concerning service or billing. This is a full-time position, offering $22 per hour and an excellent benefits package. Schedule is Monday-Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
JOB DUTIES:
Making a volume of outbound calls daily on delinquent accounts
Working with various managers and departments strategizing and executing monthly collection plans
Handle difficult customers and escalated calls
Maintain accurate notes in customer accounts
Provide assistance with on line payments
Provide customers recap of accounts for billing disputes
Results reporting to management
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 1 year of experience making heavy outbound collections calls highly preferred.

Responsibilities Include:
o Sorting recycled material onto different conveyor belts and moving material to the appropriate areas.
o Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
o Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
o Assuming custodial duties as needed.
o Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.
Requirements:

Performs repairs (including electrical and hydraulic systems) and assigned preventive maintenance services.
Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Reviews and completes repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Job Requirements:
2+ years diesel mechanic experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services. Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Work environment may be indoors in a shop, or outdoors to repair trucks on the road. Usually well-lighted and ventilated. Sometimes necessary to work in awkward or tight positions and to handle greasy or dirty tools. These factors require following basic safety precautions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Must provide own personal tools. Welding/fabrication experience a huge plus!
Computer experience a Plus!
DPF Regeneration system on both CUMMINS and MACK trucks a plus.

2ND SHIFT Hours are 1pm to 12:00AM Monday through Friday with every other Saturdays from 9:30am to 4:00PM.
