Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnoses mechanical problems on suspension, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Performs repairs and maintenance on CNG, diesel and/or gasoline trucks including front-end loader, roll off, and rear load, plus other support vehicles. Repairs include, but are not limited to, hydraulic systems, brake systems, electrical systems, suspension systems, wheels, and tires.
Reads and interprets VCRs (vehicle condition reports) and/or repair orders.
Completes electronic repair orders in our maintenance program associated with repairing vehicles and documenting parts usage.
Makes emergency road calls to repair trucks.
Diagnoses mechanical problems using diagnostic software, technical manuals and expertise.
Follows all safety policies and procedures; participates in all required safety training and meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.

What we do: We provide trash and disposal services to the local community. You, a vital piece of the team, would be responsible for safely operating a Commercial CDL Truck delivering dumpster containers to customers, while providing the best service in the industry. This includes duties such:
Safely driving a Commercial CDL Truck into a variety of environments (Residential, Construction, Commercial, etc.).
Determine the best, convenient drop off location for dumpster, to avoid property damage.
Cautiously operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load Dumpster on/off truck.
Secure the Dumpster Load, cover appropriately and account for weight shift before departing.
Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform daily pre and post trip inspections.
Interact courteously with your customers.
Other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What we work with: Trash is heavy! Sometimes we have machines aid our efforts. Other times we do not. And this is a service provided year-round - Rain, snow or shine. Hot or cold. Be prepared to work in all environments, around heavy diesel equipment. Not to mention dirty ones. Plan for the following labor:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work with consistent walking; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 75 pounds. Exiting/exiting high set truck. Walking. Moderate noise level.
Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
Exposure to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
At the end of the day, we go home knowing we leave a smiling customer!
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age with a satisfactory driving record.
Class A or B CDL
Ability to work Monday - any day of the week starting as early as midnight.

PAY AND SCHEDULE:
Competitive Wages start at $35.00 to $35.50/HR
This a Monday-Friday role with occasional Saturdays. The start time is between 4 am and 6 am.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Driving Tractor Trailer with a dedicated local route. Manual transmission at 13 & 18 speed is utilized in tractor/trailer equipment.
Possibility for training on Roll Off.
Perform routine vehicle inspection and maintenance, such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Ability to perform a physically demanding job, lifting 50lbs regularly.
Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Climbing in and out of the cab up to 40+ times/day.

You will be working in all weather conditions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A CDL.

As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, all qualifications defined under DOT regulation 49 CFR 383.51 must be met.
We want you to have at least three years of Class A commercial driving experience, preferably with 53' trailers.

PRIMARY DUTIES
Keep recycling operations functional mechanically, maximize uptime.
Manage the budget and understanding how it drives the financials.
Supervise team of 5-6 employees
Coordinate, repair, and follow up work orders with facility managers/supervisors
Must know how to use hand and power tools safely and correctly
Identify and report areas or issues of concern that may be a safety hazard
Recognize needed repairs prior to failure
Repair, install equipment, and identify efficiency improvements in the facility
Diagnose equipment failures and make necessary repairs
Dismantles, repairs, and reassembles equipment not covered by service agreements with outside contractors

Provide assistance with online payments
Provide customers recap of accounts for billing disputes
Reporting results to management and escalating problem accounts
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 1 year of credit and collections experience highly preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience making heavy outbound collections calls highly preferred.
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to speak a second language is a plus!

What we do: We provide trash and disposal services to the local community. You, a vital piece of the team, would be responsible for safely operating a Commercial CDL Truck delivering dumpster containers to customers, while providing the best service in the industry. This includes duties such:
Safely driving a Commercial CDL Truck into a variety of environments (Residential, Construction, Commercial, etc.).
Determine the best, convenient drop off location for dumpster, to avoid property damage.
Cautiously operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load Dumpster on/off truck.
Secure the Dumpster Load, cover appropriately and account for weight shift before departing
Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform daily pre and post trip inspections.
Interact courteously with your customers
Other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What we work with: Trash is heavy! Sometimes we have machines aid our efforts. Other times we do not. And this is a service provided year round - Rain, snow or shine. Hot or cold. Be prepared to work in all environments, around heavy diesel equipment. Not to mention dirty ones. Plan for the following labor:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work with consistent walking; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 75 pounds. Exiting/exiting high set truck. Walking. Moderate noise level.
Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
Exposure to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.

American Disposal is looking for a safety conscious Driver Helper to join the team at our Manassas, VA location.
The Helper position is responsible for helping the driver of a garbage truck on specified routes to manually collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.
Typical job duties include (but are not limited to):
Ride on garbage truck to assist the Driver service customers - will load refuse bags and bring containers to the truck for proper disposal.
Directing the truck driver when backing
Assisting with vehicle maintenance
Operate packing mechanisms and levers to activate the loading arm
Clean the packer blade and truck body
Deliver positive customer service interactions
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
This is a very physical job working outside in all weather conditions.
Monday-Friday day shift with occasional Saturdays.
