Waste Connections is looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager for our office in Acworth, GA . We are looking for an innovative, creative and proactive individual capable of creating change and driving results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and retain current accounts
identify opportunities for increased business in existing accounts
Develop a list of prospective accounts and key contacts.
Target large volume opportunities within designated geographic areas
Maintain and update CRM tools (Salesforce/ARES ) for future follow up
Maintain sales pipeline to achieve goals for new/gross sales monthly.
Use an in-depth industry and company knowledge to prepare complex proposals to existing and potential clients.
Make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-4 years direct sales or business development experience with proven results
Experience with professional presentations and excellent written, verbal and listening skills
Experience in Business to Business selling, Contract Selling, and Sales Negotiation
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc.)
Knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM tools is a plus.
Good numeracy skills to estimate pricing and calculate margins.
