This opportunity entails being an HR Business Partner to an office or multiple offices, providing support and guidance to the business in all areas of Human Resources and may include talent management, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and HR data analytics and reporting. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the business unit leaders and employees, providing expertise in HR policies, procedures, and best practices to drive business performance.
What You'll Do:
Partners with business leaders to understand their needs and align HR strategies and solutions with their goals. Develops positive working relationships and business partnerships in the designated offices and throughout the company.
Provides guidance and support to business units on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Partners with the HR departments to implement, administer, educate, and deliver on HR services, programs, training, and policies and/or practices that support the business units and HR objectives. Provides guidance and support to managers on performance management and coaching.
Manages employee relations including investigation and developing solutions that result in fair and timely conflict resolution.
Supports talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development. Collaborates with office leadership teams to identify employee development and training needs, creating, and implementing a plan to address those needs.
Partners with the business to routinely analyze compensation and provide guidance to maintain or support external competitiveness and internal equity.
Ensures compliance with HR-related legal requirements, including labor laws and regulations.
Analyzes HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Regularly evaluates data and provides analytics to assigned groups.
Conducts exit interviews, analyzes turnover trends, and works with leadership to develop strategies to increase engagement and retention.
Participates in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
Provides regular status updates to HR leadership on the HR Business Partner's progress and impact on the business units.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Report and manage risks that have been identified through internal operations or the external market.
Understands how work is distributed within the HR function (e.g., between COEs and HRBPs) and effectively utilizes and supports COEs
Must have the ability to travel up to 30% of the time

What You'll Do:
Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction. Assists with client project scoping and contract negotiations.
Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
Implements the firm's project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project. Leads the development and the execution of the project management plan. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.
Performs coordination with managers on project staffing, including, but not limited to; recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff; development of plan for project staff reporting; and support for performance and compensation reviews.
Partners with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for strategic and mini-mega projects in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA). Works with the project team and marketing resources to prepare appropriate proposal and presentation materials. Leads proposal development and interview presentations for strategic and mini-mega projects to the client as well as general presentations within the industry and community.
May be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, development, and retention of staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience
2 years task management or Deputy PM experience
What You'll Bring:
Winning, contracting, and successfully delivering 4for4 (on-time, on-budget, quality, client satisfaction) on projects.
Expertise in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and traffic operations, including advanced traffic management systems (ATMS), active traffic management, performance optimization, and others.
Serves as technical advisor on the use of traffic engineering and ITS standards, policies, and best practices to other departments, and transportation agencies.
Ability to prepare and present technical reports, project documentation, and proposals to clients.
Understanding of emerging technology deployments in real-world traffic environments, such as connected vehicles and smart infrastructure.
Ability to manage ITS asset management programs, including maintenance planning, lifecycle management, and performance assessments.
Ability to develop technical procurement packages for ITS operations and maintenance activities.
Provides support in traffic design activities such as signalization, lighting, and ITS assignments as needed.

This opportunity entails being responsible for the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects. This position consults with the project manager to perform research, development, calculations, design and delivery. Applies engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for complex and cross-discipline multi-modal planning and project development studies. Leverages technical knowledge and experience to address design related issues or concerns, working closely with the project manager through creative problem solving, interactions with clients and by completing tasks to meet the project schedule. Develops PD&E engineering documents, conceptual roadway plans, and detailed designs and calculations to support the project completion using current drawing and technical tools, programs and software. Performs technical engineering analysis while considering socio-economic, environmental, and engineering impacts. Participates in public involvement activities, including attendance at public meetings as well as preparation of displays and engineering documents. May mentor, train and review work of junior engineer staff and provide constructive feedback. As a member of the team, you will contribute to the successful project delivery for a diverse range of projects for HNTB's clients.
What You'll Do:
Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
Responsible for the discipline-specific planning, work distribution, and leadership and adherence to the schedule, and budget on complex or unusual engineering projects.
Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
Develops scope of work and level of effort and manages adherence to scope and budget on complex or unusual engineering projects within discipline.
Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work within the technical discipline.
Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve overall project objectives on complex or unusual engineering projects.
Coordinates technical aspects of the project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level for work within the discipline on complex or unusual engineering projects.
Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects. Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Assists with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work for other disciplines on multi-discipline projects on complex or unusual engineering projects
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience, or
Master's degree in Engineering and 7 years of relevant experience, or
PhD in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience
