Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a VIP Host to drive a premium hospitality experience.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Giving proper recognition to Live Nation Executives and VIPs to instill appreciation for their patronage
Serving as a resource of information for all Guests regarding their experience within both the lounges and music areas
Assisting guests regarding the timing of the supporting acts and headliner acts
Providing assistance to all positions and communicating effectively with others to enhance guest experience
Maintaining contact with Manager, Bar Staff, and Server regarding the arrival of all guests
Constant observation of lounge area, upholding the ambiance of the lounge or seating section
Exhibiting articulate vocabulary with the ability to adapt and socialize with audience
Presenting exemplary and professional appearance
Anticipating guests' needs and providing superior service
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
High School Diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, problem solving
Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, verbal skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
Ability to diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact and diplomacy
Must have a flexible schedule

The expected compensation for this position in California is:

THE JOB
Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a Zero Waste Captain (Sustainability Team) to help us take our sustainability programs to the next level . This role is the backbone and driving force for helping us become zero waste through sorting and educating others. This position will partner with the Venue Sustainability Coordinator and be part of the venue operations team. This is a seasonal, part-time position for show days. Hours per week will vary depending on show schedule and business
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Assist in the post-show sorting process of all recycling, composting, and landfill materials
Be an ambassador to all Band Members in order to help them understand their role in achieving the venue's sustainability goals
Assist in employee engagement programs such as the water bottle refill punch cards, post- show sort giveaways and new ideas
Engage fans and encourage them to participate in our sustainability programs through activities or education
Participate in Zero Waste Captain training
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Position requires about 90% of the time spent walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ with about 65% of that time spent sorting materials

Must be able to work well with other departments

THE JOB
Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a n Usher/Greeter/Ticket Taker. As an usher, greeter or ticket taker, you help to ensure safety, help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after the show.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Greet guests, scan guest tickets upon entry to the venue, answer guest questions, assist guests with locating their seats and examines tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event.
Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to the guest.
Resolve guest complaints or problems.
Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity.
Provide assistance to with guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations.
Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.
Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.
Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.
Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
Additional tasks as requested by management.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and occasional sitting, lifting and carrying 25 lbs.

THE JOB
Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a Security Officer . This person will guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate metal detector equipment.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Responsible for the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets.
Conduct patrols of the building on a regular basis. Respond to all security & safety related calls in a timely manner. Exhibit exemplary conduct & appearance while on duty.

Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines and deadlines set by the Security Supervisors and/or the Manager of Security.
Interact with patrons, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.

THE JOB
Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a Zero Waste Captain (Sustainability Team) to help us take our sustainability programs to the next level . This role is the backbone and driving force for helping us become zero waste through sorting and educating others. This position will partner with the Venue Sustainability Coordinator and be part of the venue operations team. This is a seasonal, part-time position for show days. Hours per week will vary depending on show schedule and business
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Assist in the post-show sorting process of all recycling, composting, and landfill materials
Be an ambassador to all Band Members in order to help them understand their role in achieving the venue's sustainability goals
Assist in employee engagement programs such as the water bottle refill punch cards, post- show sort giveaways and new ideas
Engage fans and encourage them to participate in our sustainability programs through activities or education
Participate in Zero Waste Captain training
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Position requires about 90% of the time spent walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ with about 65% of that time spent sorting materials

THE JOB
Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a n Usher/Greeter/Ticket Taker. As an usher, greeter or ticket taker, you help to ensure safety, help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after the show.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Greet guests, scan guest tickets upon entry to the venue, answer guest questions, assist guests with locating their seats and examines tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event.
Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to the guest.
Resolve guest complaints or problems.
Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity.
Provide assistance to with guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations.
Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.
Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.
Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.
Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
Additional tasks as requested by management.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

THE JOB
Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a Security Officer . This person will guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate metal detector equipment.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Responsible for the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets.
Conduct patrols of the building on a regular basis. Respond to all security & safety related calls in a timely manner. Exhibit exemplary conduct & appearance while on duty.

The expected compensation for this position in California is:

The Role:
Responsibilities:
Anticipate and respond to guests' needs
Suggestively sell beverages and menu items; take orders
Answer guest questions, make recommendations, up-sell liquors
Communicate drink orders to bar through Point of Sales system
Deliver drinks, maneuvering trays through large crowds
Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift
Remove dirty glasses and dishes from tables including the lifting/moving of bus tubs up to 25lbs.
Keep tables clean/wiped
Clean spills, remove food, trash or other obstacles from floor using proper lifting techniques
Maintain House of Blues safety and sanitation standards
Follow housekeeping standards per HOB policy
Keep current on all standard operating procedures
Request identification from any guest who appears to be under 30 years of age
Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance alcohol awareness training and HOB alcohol policies
Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of the manager
Receive payment and process cash, credit card or Travelers check transactions according to HOB policy
Ensure that comp and void checks are processed according to HOB policy
Assist other servers and staff as needed

Provides guidance and improvement and implements necessary adjustments.
Investigates and resolves security complaints. Interacts positively with guests
Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels and disciplines security staff for the efficient operation of the security department.
Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

Regularly reviews and evaluates the department and recommends and implements new operational policies and procedures when necessary.

THE JOB
Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a Cleaning Staff Member to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Keep the venue safe and clean at all time , including by not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting

THE JOB
Toyota Amphitheater is seeking a Cleaning Staff Member to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Keep the venue safe and clean at all time , including by not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

The Role:
The Security Manager is responsible for the overall management of the security department to ensure guest, employee, artist and venue safety. Also, control's cost and ensures total guest satisfaction by guarding, patrolling, monitoring the premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

Work in conjunction with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the security department as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Moves throughout the venue and all areas to visually monitor and take corrective action when needed.
Provides guidance and improvement and implements necessary adjustments.

Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

The Role:
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.
Job Functions:
. Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including by not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
. Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
. Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
. Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications:
. Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
. An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
