WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner

  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift

  • Keep floor neat, clean and free of food, trash and other obstacles throughout shift

  • Clean all spills immediately, use floor signs to caution guests and staff

  • Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles

  • Clean and stock line to par throughout shift

  • Follow housekeeping standards per policy

  • Ensure that trash cans/slim jims are clean, free of odor and lined

  • Keep all dust pans clean and free of stuck on debris/odor

  • Keep current on all standard operating procedures

  • Attend pre-shift meeting conducted by MOD prior to start of each shift

  • Assist Other Employees as needed

  • Clean and dust all areas of venue

  • Sweep and mop floors

  • Clean and maintains restrooms

  • Report all repairs required and safety and fire hazards to supervisor

  • Observe safety standards and practices

  • Additional general cleaning of venue

  • Perform related duties as required or assigned within job classification

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • Three or more years in cleaning services or related type work

  • Ability to read, write and follow written instruction

  • Detail-oriented and team player with a positive -can-do- attitude

  • Early Morning & Day time availability

  • Sense of Urgency

  • Kitchen sanitation standards

  • Respond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities including Foundry access as well as our VIP program and seat upgrades

  • Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service-related situations

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Financial / Cash Handling

  • Ensure compliance of Clubs & Theaters cash handling policies and procedures

  • Balancing and reconciling daily/nightly ticket sales

  • Assist Manager/Supervisor in reconciliation of cash drawers and ticket stock

  • Assist Manager/Supervisor on pricing initiatives such as: Progressive, Platinum, Dynamic, Flex Pricing as well as Value Channels & Special Ticket Offers when applicable

  • Assist Manager/Supervisor in distributing accurate daily ticket counts to Artist Representatives

  • Assisting Manager & Supervisor with internal Ticket Orders and Reports

  • Work with Premium Seat Sales/VIP on any nightly upgrades, primary inventory, reports etc.

Customer Service

  • Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable customer service both in person and over the phone

  • Facilitate night of show Will Call & Guest List Operations

  • Troubleshooting night of show issues (Transfers, barcodes, account issues, etc.)

  • Work with Guest Services/Operations on any ADA requirements

  • Providing knowledge of upcoming events & upgrades available

  • Knowledgeable on the events culture and genre

  • Providing positive energy

Other Responsibilities

  • Daily operations on Ticketmaster host system for sales and other tasks.

  • Following opening and closing shift procedures

  • Follow standards and processes for ticket types, ancillary events and qualifiers

  • Maintain call center phone system, and keep current all phone menus and calendars of events

  • Assist in maintaining Box Office cleanliness

  • Follow dress code policy - business casual

  • Updating and modifying spreadsheets as needed (Ticket Stock Log, Vault Log, etc.)

  • Collecting, storing and tracking Lost & Found as necessary

Financial / Cash Handling

  • Ensure compliance of Clubs & Theaters cash handling policies and procedures

THE JOB

  • Establish and own the Program Management Process & Systems

  • Focus on tracking existing Performance Marketing Lead Generation Campaigns for flagship clients.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Guest Relations

  • Greet all guests promptly and courteously in a professional manner

  • Control the flow of guests coming into the restaurant and those who are waiting for a table

  • Hospitality zone

  • Obtain guests' name, number in party, physical description (units that use the pager system), arrival times and any needs for children when applicable

  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs (guest satisfaction)

  • Direct guest to appropriate location to wait when on a wait

  • Estimate and quote accurate wait times for tables

  • Lead guests to tables, place menu on table for guest, wait for guests to be seated before leaving the table

  • Marketing current and future shows, menu items, and retail by placing all marketing literature on dining tables

  • Properly answer guest questions regarding the menu, music hall, and artists appearing at the House

  • Foundation access list, industry access, and dinner reservation sheets for that evening and passes if needed.

  • Pick up guest lists for any special events.

  • Handle concert tickets and signature sheet.

  • Obtain Production sheet for current night

  • Obtain current member and spouse lists.

  • Check foundation membership card and photo ID

  • Adherent to HOB dress code policy of the foundation lounge

  • Hand out wrist band and /or opera box passes

  • Thank each guest for visiting the House, and invite him or her to return in a friendly and sincere manner

  • Knowledge of House of Blues related art, music, and history

  • Adhere to the HOB Hospitality Zone

Communicate with other support departments

  • Communicate to door host, kitchen and Foundation Room Managers, to ensure proper flow

  • Communicate to kitchen when large parties and special event parties have been seated.

Atmosphere (Maintenance/Cleaning)

  • Keep host area clean and organized throughout the shift (shift mechanics).

  • Keep floor in host area free of spills, food, trash or other obstacles

  • Polish and clean all entry door windows throughout the shift

  • Maintain proper par levels for kid menus, crayons, fliers, matches, toothpicks and calendars at host stand

  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift

  • Maintain House of Blues safety and sanitation standards

  • Assist Other Departments as Needed

  • Assist other employees and departments as needed (teamwork)

  • Adherence to standard operating procedures

  • Attend pre-shift meeting conducted by Manager on Duty prior to start of each shift

The Role: The Cleaning/Maintenance Services Supervisor is a working supervisor who is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the cleaning staff within the venue. Duties may also include management functions.

Job Functions: . Direct and supervise cleaning staff and other employees performing similar services as directed.

Provide customer services by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints

.On an ongoing basis leads and train staff to include assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.

Assist with managing breaks .

Assist management to ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures to include all safety regulations

. Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as chairs, barricade, Etc.

. Oversee productivity and work assignments of the cleaning staff and communicate with management (or designated Manager) any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift

. Other tasks as assigned by the Cleaning Services Manager

. Assign and schedule team members to specific duties . Enforce safety, health, and security duties.

Qualifications:

. Attention to detail, quality and accuracy

. Strong relationship building and communication skills

. Ability to work independently

. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

. Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Financial Performance and Results:

  • Meet or exceed budgetary expectations on all associated line items

  • Cost control on F&B including Liquor

  • Responsible for managing labor cost through proper staffing and schedule management

  • Assist with developing monthly and quarterly specials, events, etc.

  • Complete required paperwork in timely manner

  • Assist with monthly building inventory

Recruitment, training and management of staff:

  • Supervision of hourly staff and supervisors. Conduct annual evaluations and set goals for individuals and outline team action plans. Propose compensation recommendations to department director

  • Hold departmental staff meetings to keep everyone informed of our problems/progress

  • Maintain open door policy with staff

  • Monitor progress of staff & management. Follow up/follow through to support to assist subordinates in reaching goals (continual coaching and guidance)

  • Provide for ongoing training of staff as needed

  • Oversee participation of staff in cross training/re-certification programs

  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels - hiring, terminations, maintain disciplinary documentation per HOB standards, ensure complete and thorough training of all staff and management (department director sign off)

  • Maintain positive staff relations (in all areas outlined in Manager evaluation form) Manages, coordinates and aids in execution/facilitation of all on-site training programs, seminars, operational rollouts and further learning & development needs (as per General Manager, AGM, HR Manager and Director of Training)

  • Supervises all venue trainers, including all operations floor trainers and MIT trainers

  • Conducts on-site Alcohol Awareness Certification classes as outlined by state, county and federal guidelines for that region

  • Weekly/daily periodic review and check of new Team Member Training Certification Guides and MIT Certification Manuals

  • Conducts all TC Wrap-up Meetings, 30 Day Blues Reviews and communicates follow-up information to appropriate levels of management

  • Conducts Quarterly training seminars with in-house non-exempt trainers for development and motivation

  • Attends at all training seminars, conferences and conference telephone calls as outlined by Director of Learning & Development

  • Attends venue level operations meetings on weekly or regular basis as outlined by Director of Venue Operations and General Manager

  • Completes schedules for hourly staff on weekly basis

Maintain all Standards Set by House of Blues:

  • Service Standards

  • Housekeeping - conduct walk throughs

  • Meet or exceed health and safety requirements

  • Follow all policies and procedures as stated in Handbook and manuals

  • Maintain operational supplies

  • Full compliance in venue, city and state alcohol policies and procedures

  • Ensure Smooth Operations of Department

  • Keep guest feedback log

  • Maintain 86 logs

  • Completes incident reports

  • Staffs coat check area

  • Maintain, coordinate, and maximize labor based on nightly changes in sales/business volume.

  • Ensure environmental standards are adequate (light, sound, room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, promotional materials, etc.)

  • Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift meetings

  • Provide for liquor pulls and ensure accurate accounting

  • Coordinate and oversee private/special events per event specifications

  • Assist with music hall, restaurant, retail, brunch and foundation room operations as needed

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

. Acts as liaison between colleagues & clients to facilitate work & accomplish objectives in a collaborative effort

. Screens calls and responds to internal and external requests for information and follows through to ensure requested actions are taken or completed

. Review and process venue, artist and copromoter contracts for signature, order insurance, fulfill and follow up on deadlines. Should be completed 1 week prior to event. Confirm that all contracts match information in ROME for artist agreements. Libby will review and approved artist contracts. David will review and approve building and co-promote contracts.

. Process wire deposit payments for artists

. Coordinate with production and accounting department and maintain a monthly show production schedule. Provide show settler all information for settlement 7 days prior to concert in one email, contract, deal sheet, deposit info, etc. Information to be send in one email with all information needed for show settlement.

. Maintain open channels of communication and supply show information to all appropriate departments and agents a minimum of 2 weeks prior to show date; this included artist contracts, deposit requests and ordering insurance. Alert booker if unable to meet this deadline.

. Organize and catalog current and recent show files in conjunction with accounting.

. Assists with reports as needed

. Work with internal and external Box Office Personnel; send daily ticket counts to office

. Provide general administrative support and perform diversified administrative duties; prioritize, and manage projects with minimal supervision

. Complete Expense reports for staff in office

. Schedule conference calls

. Multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain organized, with attention to detail.

. Performs general office duties

. Other duties as assigned

. Provide a weekly update on Thursday or Friday on the contracts and other work completed that week and report what work/contracts needs to be completed for the following week.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Monitor the labor cost of the shift, paying close attention to overtime

  • Checking accuracy of labor system at the end of the shift

  • Maintain appropriate atmosphere (lights, sound level, room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, room capacity)

  • Ensure all recap forms are submitted to accounting

Required:

THE JOB

The Production Manager is responsible for all of the on-stage, backstage and other technical details of concerts and events. Includes advancing and obtaining presale technical information, including production needs, rider requirements, staging and capacity changes .

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Ensure positive and creative environment for management team

  • Assist in maintaining department manuals and training materials for all production positions

  • Develop and maintain department manuals and training materials for all production positions

  • Assist and support production department personnel with job functions as needed

  • Create and maintain inventory and maintenance log

  • Maintain regular communications with Venue and Corporate Management

  • Coordinate operational feedback with Talent Buyer

  • Advance technical details for shows/events

  • Assist with the maintenance of audio, lighting, backline and video systems advising on repairs when needed

  • Advance food and beverage/hospitality requirements

  • Ensure information is distributed to Operations Managers in a timely basis

  • Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment

  • Advise on design and purchase of site lighting systems (patio, restaurant, etc.)

  • Maintain accurate vendor records, following Purchase Ordering Systems

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • Flexible Schedule (days/nights, late hours, weekends, and holidays)

  • Minimum 3 years prior production management experience in an entertainment venue

  • 3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experience

  • strong people skills with an emphasis on competent and diplomatic communication with tour/production manager representatives

  • Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information

  • Computer literate in Windows applications

  • Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills

THE JOB

The Special Events Logistics Manager provides administrative support to the Sales Department, including Senior Sales Manager, Sales Managers and Logistics team; performs special projects as delegated by the Director of Sales.

The Logistics Manager is responsible for execution, servicing and detailing of assigned events once booked by the Special Events Department. They are to ensure a smooth and efficient process of an event from the SEO to the actual operation of the function. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

I. Essential Functions

  • Responsible for execution, servicing and detailing of assigned events once booked by the Special Events Department

II. Accounting Functions

  • Process all deposits and payments in a timely manner

  • Track status of payments made for all events with Sales Mangers

  • Follow up on all accounts receivable and provide monthly update to Director of Sales and Business Manager

  • Verify Deposit / Payments tracking schedules with Sales Manager

  • Proper execution and completion of all post event paperwork: Party Recap Sheet, Captain's Report and Receipts

  • Manage staff hours to ensure we are not exceeding our budget

  • Follow up on all accounts receivable and provide monthly update to Director of Sales and Business Manager

III. Staff Functions

  • Maintain supply of digital and print sales kits and collateral materials

  • Update sales kit inserts and menus as needed.

  • Collect and update digital content for event marketing

  • Generate a competitive analysis report on a quarterly basis

  • Special projects as assigned by Director of Sales

  • Distribution of final contracted SEO's to appropriate parties

  • Train all staff with regards to the proper techniques and etiquette for service

  • Produce weekly banquet summary for all events - includes number of team members and their time to scheduled and verify staffing was handled by Operations Manager

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • High School Diploma (College Degree preferred)

  • Minimum one year in a customer service capacity

THE JOB

The Production Manager is responsible for all of the on-stage, backstage and other technical details of concerts and events. Includes advancing and obtaining presale technical information, including production needs, rider requirements, staging and capacity changes.

Qualifications
