The National Security Solutions Business Growth team works with NSS resources for delivering bookings for the business to grow. NSS uses data for planning and forecasting growth. This project includes the creation of new ways of exploiting our Salesforce and other data to gain business intelligence and advantage. We hope to:

  • Identify additional/new measures and metrics through fundamental business knowledge (academic).

  • Find additional/new variables and relationships for analysis to creatively address business hypotheses.

  • Increase the fidelity of our data (Process and Prepare data) through introduction of efficient processes.

  • Perform leading Analysis to answer and address difficult business questions/hypotheses.

  • Create compelling stories and visualizations to move business leaders into confident action.

As a National Security Solutions Intern, you will:

  • Become familiar with many of our Business Growth Data platforms and the data that we use for reporting on our NSS Pipeline.

  • Follow the Data Analyst process for addressing and responding to real business leaders' questions, hypotheses, and asks. Ensure that you understand the stakeholders' needs.

  • Find the data that will address the ask and process and prepare the data in the appropriate platforms. Analyze the data for addressing the ask. Prepare and communicate results effectively through preparing high quality visuals and creating compelling stories that enable leaders to act.

Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with the opportunity to mentor with experienced professionals, gain experience and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field.

Anticipated Skill Set:

  • Computer science software programming experience with Python, Java, and/or R

  • Familiar with Salesforce

  • Experience working with Microsoft PowerBI

  • Experience and knowledge in Data analysis and Business Intelligence

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel

  • Major field of study: Data Analytics, Business Analytics or Computer Science.

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

  • Average 40 hours per week.

Basic Compensation:

Job Summary

POSITION TITLE: Engineer (Construction) Equipment Quality Inspector

Serves as Internal Quality representative for the Engineer Section reporting directly to the Quality Manager. Responsible for collecting and analyzing data to make decisions that improve Marine Corps Engineer equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Conducts detailed technical inspections on Engineer equipment. Interprets and communicates technical manual requirements to workforce and management. Job Summary

POSITION TITLE: Engineer (Construction) Equipment Quality Inspector

Serves as Internal Quality representative for the Engineer Section reporting directly to the Quality Manager. Responsible for collecting and analyzing data to make decisions that improve Marine Corps Engineer equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Conducts detailed technical inspections on Engineer equipment. Interprets and communicates technical manual requirements to workforce and management. Analyzes and displays Global Combat Support Systems Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), and Marine Corps Preposition Information Center (MCPIC) data to ensure that equipment is ready for delivery to the customer. Monitors and updates the Quality Management System Data Base (QMS/IQS). Ensures that all customer generated quality complaints are answered properly and in a timely manner. Interprets the Statement of Work and how it applies to the Engineer section. Serves as liaison to government Quality Assurance Equipment Specialists, facilitates and maintains an excellent working relationship with all government counterparts. Uses and interprets quality data and reports to identify maintenance status, trends and process deficiencies. Basic Qualifications

Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment. Minimum of four years of directly related work experience as a maintenance shop chief in USMC or Army Quality Control and/or 3rd, 4th Echelon or depot Level of maintenance (USMC MOS, or Army equivalent 1391, 1341, 1345, 1310, 1169, 1161, 1141, 1142, 1171, 1120). Completed applicable maintenance related training through progression in rank (Journeyman School, Intermediate Maintenance Training for NCO's/SNCO's, Chief School). The Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) , herein referred as Coordinator(s), is responsible for comprehensive and effective coordination, development, and evaluation of programs and services that contribute directly and positively to resiliency of the assigned unit's force and families.   • Coordinators shall be responsible for collecting and reporting data for the purposes of formative and outcome evaluations of peer support programs and other community based support programs.

  • Coordinators shall collect original data and data from secondary sources in support of program assessments. This data includes, but is not limited to focus group and/or unit meetings convened by leadership; POTFF Family Resilience Program evaluation results; trend information from POTFF Psychologist, Chaplains, Ombudsmen, or Family Readiness Group ( FRG ) staff.

  • Coordinators shall support commands at multiple levels and in multiple locations. The Coordinator shall identify and document program/service needs and evaluation data.

  • The Coordinator shall develop needs-based programming to service specific demographic groups and geographic locations.

  • The Coordinator shall also have extensive knowledge of DoD resources, such as the Military OneSource, Military Family Life Counselors ( MFLC ), Personal Financial Counselors (PFC), and Military Crisis Line.

  • The Coordinator shall lead and/or assist in the coordination and/or development of official processes, functions and networking opportunities for subpopulations served.

  • Coordinators shall:

  • Establish, maintain , and report activity of peer counseling networks for supported unit's Service members and family member spouses.

  • Report activity using specified reporting tool and frequency identified by the Social Performance program manager or other POTFF staff as required

  • Conduct and/or contribute to Family Orientation, Information, Outreach and Referrals;

  • Conduct and/or contribute to Pre- and Post-deployment Preparation, Reintegration, and Decompression

  • Conduct and/or contribute to Family Relational Enhancement activities

    Required Education/Experience/Skills/Training:

  • A bachelor's degree in education, human/social services or related field or four years' experience providing social service education, or work/family life consultation or coordination services.

  • Must have a minimum of two years' experience coordinating social service education programs.

  • Shall have, or be willing to receive, specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals and suicide prevention.

Job Summary

POSITION TITLE: Engineer (Construction) Equipment Quality Inspector

Serves as Internal Quality representative for the Engineer Section reporting directly to the Quality Manager. Responsible for collecting and analyzing data to make decisions that improve Marine Corps Engineer equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Conducts detailed technical inspections on Engineer equipment. Interprets and communicates technical manual requirements to workforce and management. Analyzes and displays Global Combat Support Systems Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), and Marine Corps Preposition Information Center (MCPIC) data to ensure that equipment is ready for delivery to the customer. Monitors and updates the Quality Management System Data Base (QMS/IQS). Ensures that all customer generated quality complaints are answered properly and in a timely manner. Basic Qualifications

Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment. Minimum of four years of directly related work experience as a maintenance shop chief in USMC or Army Quality Control and/or 3rd, 4th Echelon or depot Level of maintenance (USMC MOS, or Army equivalent 1391, 1341, 1345, 1310, 1169, 1161, 1141, 1142, 1171, 1120). Completed applicable maintenance related training through progression in rank (Journeyman School, Intermediate Maintenance Training for NCO's/SNCO's, Chief School). Thorough knowledge of MCO 4790.2, MCO P4400.150, GCSS-MC and applicable reports, or Army equivalents. In-depth understanding of Marine Corps or Army policies, regulations, and orders. Analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of quality assurance principles and techniques. Familiar with Six Sigma or other process improvement methods. Kord Technologies, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of KBR Wyle Services, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to be a part of the lead systems integration team for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) upgrade.

As the LSI, KORD is focused on providing functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, and traceability at both the system and component levels of the GMLRS rocket.

  • The immediate role for the Systems Engineer (SE) will support the Chief Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, and the Program Manager across functional disciplines for the design, development, integration, and testing of GMLRS rocket upgrades.

  • The SE should have experience in at least one key sub-system of a missile, (e.g., electronic safe and arm device, guidance, propulsion, control) and be proactive in closing technical knowledge gaps to develop an understanding of the intent of all sub-systems that will make up the GMLRS upgrade.

  • The SE will have the opportunity to gain experience from more senior level SEs to enhance his/her professional development in the depth of the systems engineering discipline by supporting the creation of program specific systems engineering standards and procedures that will form a part of the GMLRS upgrade program.

  • The SE will support the tracking of system engineering metrics to measure the development progress of the GMLRS upgrade program.

  • Use DOORS to manage the parent/child specification hierarchy, requirements, and traceability of the projects.

  • Generate CDRLs for multiple programs using IBM Rational Publishing Engine.

  • Drive the completeness and consistency of attributes and linkages within programs' DOORS environments.

Other Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate subcontractor systems engineering SDRLs to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

  • Aid in the development of systems engineering CDRLs to support key program design reviews .

  • Support the traceability of hardware, firmware, and software requirements to the top-level missile system.

  • Support failure investigation teams and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action development.

  • Experience with DOORS Extension Language (DXL) scripts development or other Systems Engineering modernization initiatives is a nice to have.

  • Experience with Model-Based Engineering applications such as Cameo is a nice to have.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an engineering related discipline or other STEM field.

  • 3 to 5 years or more of related experience.

As a National Security Solutions Intern, you will:

KBR is looking for highly motivated rising Juniors, Seniors and Graduate students seeking business, science, and software development opportunities that provide challenging and meaningful work experience to be a part of our 2025 Intern class.

  • Use technical and mathematical skills to develop a set of rules and the influencing factors enforcing those rules.

  • Pull data from unstructured formats using feature generation and augmentation.

  • Ability to interpret complex information in a non-technical and engaging manner.

  • Collect data and manage/manipulate large data sets.

  • Identify problematic areas in data and conduct the necessary research to provide a lasting solution.

  • Monitor data statistics to identify and interpret the trend in a set of complex data resulting in the findings of a pattern.

Selected interns for this paid opportunity will be provided with the opportunity to mentor with experienced professionals, gain experience and establish a name for themselves in this high demand career field.

Anticipated Skill Set:

  • Tools / Languages would be Matlab, Python, C++, Java, or similar coding language applications

  • Learn and apply state-of-the-art scientific coding practices

  • Perform validation, unit testing, and regression testing of new and existing MATLAB and/or C/C++ scientific code

  • Experience and knowledge in Data analysis

  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel

  • Major field of study: Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

  • Average 40 hours per week.

Basic Compensation:

$19.00 - 31.00 per hour (This range is for the Colorado area only).

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must pass a Security Pre-Screen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
