Repair Technician Schedule:
This is a Full Time position with an average of 40 hours per week
Flexible schedules
All Shifts areDAY SHIFTwith the latest ending at 7 PM
Working shifts include weekdays and weekend days
All Shifts are worked in a Retail Store
Primary Job Duties for Repair Technicians:
Diagnose and Repair broken Cell Phones and Tablets
Installing batteries into Vehicles, Equipment, and Devices
Performing Automotive Key Cutting and Programming Services
Building and Repairing Custom Battery Packs
Supporting our Sales Team with advanced technical knowledge
Providing store support in areas of operations such as inventory, recycling, organization, equipment maintenance, etc.
Providing support services to backup our sales staff with customer service, answering phone calls, pulling customer orders, etc.
To qualify for the role, our Repair Technicians need to have:
A passion for repair and a desire to learn and adapt as technology changes in our industry
Basic Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand tools
Strong problem solving skills and ability to read and follow detailed instruction
Strong communication skills both verbal and written to communicate to both customers and our sales staff
Ability to use and learn programs such as Google Suite, POS system, Repair Q, Repair Manuals, Asana, Key Programming software, and more
A flexible work schedule for shifts as late as 7 PM during the week and regular weekend shifts to be there when our customers need us most

DUTIES

Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions

QUALIFICATIONS
H.S. diploma/equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior retail experience desired but not required
Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company's electronic retail and cross reference system
Good listening and verbal communication skills with a customer focus
Must possess and use organizational and analytical problem solving skills
Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks to effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects
Ability to calculate simple math, percents, ratios and algebraic expressions and read gauges
Demonstrated technical aptitude and or technical experience desired
Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred. Required for driving positions

This is a consultative solutions based sales position. OurOutside Commercial Sales Representativessucceed by mining existing customers for new business, qualifying leads, creating sales proposals, conducting sales presentations, and ultimately closing the sale while building and managing long-term business relationships.
Lighting and battery experience is not required. Our training program along with our in house product support teams will give you the confidence you need to be knowledgeable in front of the customer.

Maintain and grow a $2M customer portfolio

2+ years of outside B2B commercial sales experience
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
The ability for limited overnight travel

Demonstrated success in prospecting, negotiating, follow up and closing the sale
Self-motivated to resourcefully generate new leads, maintaining a sales pipeline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field

Merchandising / Inventory- Rotate and stock inventory; perform inventory counts as required.- Install batteries, perform tests and tech work.- Load, unload, and deliver or arrange delivery of products.- Organize daily recovery of displays to achieve full store appearance.- Maintain retail shelf label pricing.- Build displays; setting up & taking down shelves and fixtures.- Prepare store for daily opening and closing.
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Prior retail experience preferred but not required.- Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company's products, processes, point of sale, and cross reference systems.- Good listening and verbal communication skills with a customer focus.- Must possess and use organizational and analytical problem solving skills.- Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks to effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects.- Ability to calculate simple math, percents, ratios and algebraic expressions and read gauges.- Demonstrated technical aptitude and or technical experience desired.- Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred.At Batteries Plus, you are part of a small entrepreneurial team in a growing business. DUTIES
Customer Service / Sales
Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions
Suggest sell add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities to achieve sales goals
Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions
