Store Manager Qualifications

  • Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent; Advanced degree in business or retail management preferred

  • Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably within a durable goods setting. Experience must include commercial (outside) sales

The Quality Control Supervisor oversees and monitors the inspection of all shipping processes to ensure adherence to established quality and efficiency standards for the Batteries Plus warehouse and national distribution center in Glendale, WI in the metro Milwaukee area. Working 1st shift, M-F, the Quality Control Supervisor will develop and maintain the quality control process to ensure order accuracy for all of our product shipments to our customers and 700+ retail stores nationwide.

The ideal Quality Control Supervisor candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and will have 2+ years of experience in quality control and/or quality assurance processes, auditing, and inspection within a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing facility.   • Develop and maintain quality control processes and systems to ensure order accuracy for all of our product shipments

Description:

  • Assist the manager and store associates to achieve sales objectives and to maintain the facility. Develop general store management and operational skills.

    Duties :Operations Management

  • Demonstrate a "customer first" mentality

  • Assist Manager in leading store activities to achieve objectives of the Store's business plan

  • Assist in merchandising to approved plan-o-grams

  • Ensure shelf price labeling and full store objectives are met

Duties Include:

Store Manager Qualifications

  • Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent; Advanced degree in business or retail management preferred

  • Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably within a durable goods setting. Experience must include commercial (outside) sales

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Able to effectively manage confrontational situations in a controlled and courteous manner

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong technical aptitude; a basic understanding of electronics. Must have the ability to accurately read gauges and work with hands

As a member of our in-house Digital Marketing team, the SEO Marketing Specialist will optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization for organic searches, perform ongoing keyword research, oversee the syndication and optimization of local store information and store locator pages, analyze results, and stay current on SEO / Search Engine Optimization techniques.

The ideal SEO Marketing Specialist will have at least 2+ years in organic SEO search, demonstrated knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms, and proven success in the SEO marketing field.   • Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities

  • Research competitor keywords and stay current on SEO techniques

  • Analyze results, continuous improvement

  • Drive search engine optimization through content creation

  • Oversee the syndication and optimization of local store information for 700+ stores in 47 of the 50 states.

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in organic SEO search

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or experience in lieu of

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms, keyword search, and overall behaviors of search engines

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced skills working with Google Adwords and Google Analytics
