Job Summary

The Anesthesia Tech will perform various patient care, safety, and technical duties to support anesthesia and nursing teams in surgical and procedural areas. The Anesthesia Technician responds to patient-specific needs including blood, medications, supply, and equipment during the surgical procedure. This position is an active member of the Anesthesia OR emergency response/code team and assures all emergency safety equipment is available and in working order.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assists with anesthesia and other supplies as needed, medication management within scope of practice as directed by anesthesia and pharmacy.

  • Organizes anesthesia supplies &/or equipment to ensure availability. Responds to needs of anesthesia providers.

  • Cleans and disinfects instruments, high level disinfection and processing.

  • Assists with patients at risk for malignant hyperthermia and other duties within scope.

  • Performs anesthesia machine testing and support in various areas throughout the hospital.

  • Performs patient identification procedures to ensure proper delivery of blood products and medications.

  • Operates surgical equipment under the direction of a licensed provider.

  • Ensures all Operating Rooms, and pre/post rooms are adequately stocked with appropriate quantity of supplies and required equipment.

  • Ensures Operating Rooms, procedure and pre/post rooms are cleaned and prepared for the next patient to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Cleans equipment and implements infection control policies to support the anesthesia practices in surgical and procedural areas.

  • Assists anesthesia and nursing with patient care, patient equipment, and environmental maintenance activities in the Operating Room.

  • Helps with room turnover which includes stocking and cleaning and wiping down anesthesia carts between cases.

  • Sterile processing duties that involve sterilization, high level disinfection and cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment.

Radiology Technologist or GXMO - Mercy Health Urgent Care - Finneytown

The Radiology Tech performs digital X-ray studies on patients per the orders placed by providers. The X-Ray Tech is a multi-skilled clinical professional who works within the scope of practice to assist in patient care under the direction of the provider.

Essential Functions

  • Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations, including proper patient positioning, immobilization, and utilizingappropriate radiation protection.

  • Sets up and adjusts supportive and immobilization equipment and devices as required by individual cases. Positions and handles patients with a high degree of safety and professionalism.

  • Accurately documents patient encounters within Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

  • Determines and selects proper electronic and technical factors which safeguard the patient, x-ray tube, and equipment.

Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Internal Medicine

Full Time, Days (Monday - Friday; 8AM - 4:30PM; some weekends)

Job Summary:

This role delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifies and determines the priority of patient's problems/needs, and evaluates the process and outcome of nursing care. They coordinate, provide, and direct patient teaching activities and coordinate the care provided by health team members.

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist participates in clinical programs and initiatives >90% of the time with a consistency in schedule. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist has received specialized training in their dedicated area of practice and ensures safe, rational, and cost-effective therapy in their respective practice area. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will act in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and standards as promulgated by Federal, State, and accrediting agencies or regulating bodies. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist maintains established departmental policies and procedures while promoting department objectives.

Essential Functions:

When calling the Call Center, you will speak with a trained Customer Service Representative who is ready to answer questions and facilitate resolution in all areas of the procurement function with a knowledge of the ordering systems and processes.

This includes shipping orders for Overnight delivery, 2nd day delivery, Stat orders, tracking PO's, answering questions, HYBRENT support, resolving Buyer Messages and Invoices. Handling issues on the front end significantly impacts the number of invoicing and receiving issues. It also allows the representatives and buyers time to address any outstanding items, invoicing, buyer messages,

open orders and reports. Answer calls in a call center environment on a broad range of customer inquiries within Supply Chain operations. Respond to calls with appropriate sense of urgency, and/or escalate calls following call center protocols to others as warranted. Work collaboratively with colleagues and others on the team. Conduct basic research in the ERP system to determine order status, invoice status or other Supply Chain info. Build relationships with

internal and external customers.

Essential Job Functions :

  • The Call Center is the front line of communication for answering all incoming calls for the Supply Chain in a timely manner, and efficiently determining a customer's needs and providing that assistance. It is our job to understand every department's role and function.

  • Responds to calls with appropriate sense of urgency, and/or escalate calls following call center protocols to others aswarranted.

  • Emergency orders and credit holds are particularly time sensitive as they could impact patient care. The following methods are used to process orders: Expediting Overnight, 2nd Day Shipments, Same Day/STAT request, Will Call orders, Tracking Purchasing order requests. Conducts extensive research to determine call resolution, order status, invoice status or other information. Recommends process improvements based on the incoming inquiries. Reviews statements and provides detail information for discrepancies.

Job Summary:

Daily float or assigned to:

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The RN Transfer Center Specialist coordinates patient transfer logistics using workflows identified by client to assist with patient acceptance and bed placement. This RN understands cases are related to ensuring patient care is accepted in an environment that can facilitate a higher level or care or capability as well as continuity of care. Performs functions based on defined standards of performance and practice to meet or exceed operational expectations. The position works collaboratively to foster relationships with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staffs in representation of Conduit Health Partners Mission and Values. Works closely through collaboration with clinical, medical staff and leadership teams to identify, trend, and report barriers to patient access and throughput. Professional, clinical standards, policy and evidence-based research will guide practice and service delivery. Participates in professional development, peer development and evaluation as well as shared leadership. Assistance with data collection for quality purposes will be expected.

This is a PRN position working as needed for any shift available

Associate must be available for training for 4 weeks full time. 40 hours per week Monday - Friday from 8-4:30

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinates functions in order to identify appropriate level of care, accepting provider, consultation and access from all potential referral sources to include but not limited to hospitals, clinics, extended care facilitates, and physician offices to initiate acceptance and expedite decision making relative to a potential access; Focusing on quality, safety and efficiency.

  • Works directly with clinicians at each client facility to ensure communication of accurate clinical presentation, timely access, appropriate bed assignment, and accurate patient information documentation to assist with an appropriate final destination plan of care at receiving facility using critical thinking, clinical decision making as well as established workflows.

  • Proficient in EHR data entry, telephony systems , office systems as required to support operations; ensuring accurate, timely data entry, protection of PHI.

  • Uses problem-solving skills to make recommendations that promotes the best potential patient outcome based on clinical information, patient and / or physician preferences, and the capability / capacity of both transferring and receiving facilities.

  • Utilizes effective and professional communication to act as liaison on behalf of patient and client facilities between physicians, hospital staff, and outside agencies.

  • Monitors individual and team compliance and performance. Implements and supports process change to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality initiatives.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory components to include but not limited to EMTALA, Ethics and Compliance, quality initiatives, and HIPAA. Reports risks related to safety, compliance as well as operational inefficiencies using defined Chain of Command in a timely manner and offers recommendations for resolution or improvement if applicable

  • Works directly with providers and other healthcare providers at each client facility as well as client footprint facility to ensure timely acceptance and access to appropriate level of care/bed assignment using applicable workflows.

  • Participates in process improvement, professional development and peer review

  • Maintains active RN licensure within the states transfer center services are provided

  • Responsible for other tasks and analysis as requested /directed.
