Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Senior Civil / Highway Engineer to be based in Buffalo, New York.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assist in completing specific and moderate portions of larger assignments under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
Collect and analyze fundamental engineering data using established, well-defined procedures.
Perform detailed or routine engineering tasks, including calculations and basic tests for major transportation clients.
Propose solutions for new problems by modifying standard methods or procedures from previous assignments.
Identify and address discrepancies in results.
Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level engineers.
Ensure work is completed within the agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
Independently handle the tasks required to complete key design elements for engineering projects.
This role requires developmental experience in a professional engineering environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering or a master's degree in civil engineering, from an accredited university plus six years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
PE in New York State or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Strong background using New York State Department of Transportation. standards and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Significant experience using engineering design, modeling, and drafting software (Bentley or AutoDesk)
Strong organizational skills
Responsible and reliable communicator
Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)

Job Description
AECOM/Hunt has an immediate opportunity for a seasoned MEP Superintendent for our exciting expansion and construction of the Downtown Indy Convention Center.
Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.
Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.
May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client's resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.
Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.

Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Tunnel Design Director for immediate employment based out of our New York City office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in the tunnel engineering industry and have a successful track record of major tunneling design, construction management and program management with water projects. The applicant will have extensive experience in marketing, developing, designing and managing tunnel projects, with emphasis in managing complex underground projects for water initiatives. The position will report to the New York Metro Water Business Line Leader and will work in a matrix organization, with local operations staff, regional leadership, and regional business line leads to assist in winning and delivering new AECOM work with major tunneling components globally.
The Tunnel Design Director is responsible for project delivery and business development support of tunnel projects located around the New York Metro area as well as collaborating with other Americas/Global Region tunnel practice leaders. This position requires a candidate to be an industry leader recognized by key tunnel contractors and owners..
In your role as the Tunnel Design Director your primary responsibilities would include the following:
Provide tunnel project opportunity pipeline awareness and input. Our project opportunity pipeline is managed by the regions/business lines, and the tunnel opportunities would be identified to plan tunnel specialized staff needs to pursue and execute this work. Lead strategy for many of our key tunnel pursuits.
Function as Project Director/Program Manager for select complex water tunnel projects including client interface and overall project delivery responsibility.
Technical resource and standards assessment. Review tunnel technical resources and identify gaps.
Collaborate and participate on on Global/Americas cross-region opportunities to be more effective in winning and executing water tunnel projects.
Participate in regular coordination meetings with Regional Tunnel Practice leads and Water Region Business Line Leaders.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

12 years progressive experience in design, construction and project management of tunnel structures.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), or the ability to obtain within one year of employment.

Minimum of 10 years experience in the design of tunnel excavation and support systems for transportation and water projects.

AECOM Transportation's Right-of-Way Unit in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced Senior Right-of-Way Agent to provide acquisition and relocation assistance for various clients (i.e. Department of Transportation).
Position can be based out of AECOM offices in Philadelphia, PA, Conshohocken, PA, Mechanicsburg, PA, Pittsburgh, PA or Newark, DE. Hybrid work option is offered.
Summary:
Conducting personal interviews with all claimants to be relocated, including business and residential
Preparation of a Relocation Pre-Acquisition Survey and Report in accordance with the Right-of-Way Manual and governing regulations, as necessary
Identify relocation needs and suggested solutions, including -Housing of Last Resort-
Negotiate claims in accordance with the Right-of-Way Manual, following -good faith negotiation- procedures
Prepare settlement documents and secure signatures
Review right-of-way plans and make field inspections, including personal visits with property owners affected by the project
Attend meetings as necessary
Prepare condemnation documents and provide condemnation support to the client
Provide litigation support as necessary
Research public records to determine ownership and prepare title search reports
Prepare payment packages for claim and relocation payments
Provide property management services to the client as needed, including preparation of an inventory of improvements and property inspections, in accordance with the Right-of-Way Manual
Perform other right-of-way tasks or duties as directed by manager

Overall, the Project Controls Specialist plays an integral role in ensuring all assigned client projects succeed in attaining their financial, schedule, and performance targets as defined by the client contract and internal AECOM expectations. This person will have the opportunity to be engaged in numerous projects being delivered by our Ohio Teams, including many large, impactful projects that are located throughout the United States.

Lead meetings with internal project teams, Project Approvers and Finance & Accounting.
Assist Project Managers by working with procurement to establish purchase orders and subcontract agreements. Complete payment release paperwork and track to ensure payment is released to subs per payment terms.
Assist Project Managers with Salesforce entries and updates.
Knowledge of or willing to learn basic Federal Contract Requirements to assist Project Managers on federal contracts.
Liaise with subcontractors regarding progress, schedules, contract administration, etc.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators, such as earned value, cost and schedule performance, estimate to completion, and project end dates.
Monitor and proactively track unbilled, invoicing, and aged AR and report to management.
Maintain excellent data quality metrics including forecast end dates and quarterly/monthly estimates to completion.
Review client invoices for accuracy and establish invoice schedules determined by the contracting terms.
Prepare and submit monthly reports for internal and external clients.

The Water Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Columbus, Ohio office.
The qualified candidate should have in-depth experience in the analysis and design of water/wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems, and conveyance, as well as experience in project management and client relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to focus on client business growth, project delivery leadership and mentoring of developing engineering staff by leveraging top notch regional and national water/wastewater engineering expertise and capabilities to expand AECOM's Ohio area business. The appropriately qualified applicant will have the opportunity to manage and work with an established team of professional engineers on a variety of water, wastewater, and storm water design projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working with senior members of our Water Business Line team to seek new municipal business opportunities
Managing projects, including scoping, task management, invoicing and final closeout.
Planning, scheduling, conducting/coordinating detailed phases of engineering work of a major project, or several small-moderate scope projects
Supervising and mentoring junior staff
Overseeing the planning and design of various project elements, the preparation of project reports, hydraulic models, calculations, drawings, construction plans and specifications, permitting packages, and documents for inclusion in the final project deliverables

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Manager or Senior Proposal Manager to join the West Region Marketing Team. The job includes leading large proposals and presentations, and supports from pre-RFP project positioning through to interview stage, as required.
This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and in-office, that can be based in, but not limited to: Saint Louis, MO; Austin, TX; Orange, CA; Sacramento, CA; Anchorage, AK.
Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for timely, compliant, accurate, and persuasive proposal development and leadership. Responsible for leading large, complex, priority must win pursuits from capture through to interview stage, as required. Understands capture planning best practice and provides robust support and guidance to capture managers in development of the win strategy.
Serves as coach for interview, Q&A and preparing team for global or must win opportunities.
Facilitates color reviews (Pink and Red team), and applies lessons learned to add value to proposal and win plan. Serves as a compliance reviewer and and reviewer on color reviews (pink and red teams) for priority pursuits, applying in-depth institutional knowledge.
Participates actively in Go/No-Go decisions, capture strategy development, and greenlight analyses, drives compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities, and provides leadership and direction, where required.
Analyzes debriefs and applies lessons learned to add value to strategy and reviews. Contributes to leadership and strategic direction for proposals for their account, and reports on client pipeline, internal business development strategies, capture planning, proposal efforts, and debriefs related to that client or market.

Overall, the Project Controls Specialist plays an integral role in ensuring all assigned client projects succeed in attaining their financial, schedule, and performance targets as defined by the client contract and internal AECOM expectations. This person will have the opportunity to be engaged in numerous projects being delivered by our Ohio Teams, including many large, impactful projects that are located throughout the United States.
Specific required skills and job responsibilities include:

Able to prioritize and meet requirements of multiple competing project demands.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.

Requires a demonstrated ability to effectively lead the project controls function on both small and large projects for a large portfolio of projects and multiple project managers.
Reviews performance trends, prepares analysis and cost impact and monthly project performance reports, and recommends contractor invoices for approval.
Prepare regular cost reports which include tracking actual costs as well as committed costs for subs/vendors against budgets. Update forecasts based on progress assessed thru earned value, discussions with project team and other tools.
Establish project budgets from proposal estimate, assist Project Manager with project setup and execution.
Coordinate with other project personnel to develop effective Work Breakdown structures.
Effectively communicate the results of budget, cost and schedule analyses with PM and other project leaders. Identify issues, successes, and develop project recovery plans when required.
Lead meetings with internal project teams, Project Approvers and Finance & Accounting.
Assist Project Managers by working with procurement to establish purchase orders and subcontract agreements. Monitoring subcontractor or vendor spending against their commitments and budget and raising any issues or concerns. Complete payment release paperwork and track to ensure payment is released to subs per payment terms.
Assist Project Managers with Salesforce entries and updates.
Knowledge of or willing to learn basic Federal Contract Requirements to assist Project Managers on federal contracts.
Liaise with subcontractors regarding progress, schedules, contract administration, etc.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators, such as earned value, cost and schedule performance, estimate to completion, and project end dates.
Monitor and proactively track unbilled, invoicing, and aged AR and report to management.
Maintain excellent data quality metrics including forecast end dates and quarterly/monthly estimates to completion.
Review client invoices for accuracy and establish invoice schedules determined by the contracting terms.
Prepare and submit monthly reports for internal and external clients.
Read and understand client contracts and subcontracts; particularly as related to scope, schedule, budget, and risk. Coordinate with project manager to ensure all procedures are in place to meet contractual requirements.
Communicate with clients about invoicing, payment, contract, and reporting requirements.

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Manager or Senior Proposal Manager to join the West Region Marketing Team. The job includes leading large proposals and presentations, and supports from pre-RFP project positioning through to interview stage, as required.
This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and in-office, that can be based in, but not limited to: Saint Louis, MO; Austin, TX; Orange, CA; Sacramento, CA; Anchorage, AK.
Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for timely, compliant, accurate, and persuasive proposal development and leadership. Responsible for leading large, complex, priority must win pursuits from capture through to interview stage, as required. Understands capture planning best practice and provides robust support and guidance to capture managers in development of the win strategy.
Serves as coach for interview, Q&A and preparing team for global or must win opportunities.
Facilitates color reviews (Pink and Red team), and applies lessons learned to add value to proposal and win plan. Serves as a compliance reviewer and and reviewer on color reviews (pink and red teams) for priority pursuits, applying in-depth institutional knowledge.
Participates actively in Go/No-Go decisions, capture strategy development, and greenlight analyses, drives compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities, and provides leadership and direction, where required.
Analyzes debriefs and applies lessons learned to add value to strategy and reviews. Contributes to leadership and strategic direction for proposals for their account, and reports on client pipeline, internal business development strategies, capture planning, proposal efforts, and debriefs related to that client or market.
Is a subject matter expert for specific client/portfolio or sector. Actively supports marketing strategy and content development related to clients/markets, in collaboration with marketing communications, client account managers (CAMs) and business lines, as necessary.
May supervise small number of staff or serve as an active mentor to Bid Management Coordinators or Specialists. Supports content development for the website, brochures, and other digital media and thought leadership in collaboration with Client Account Managers (CAMs) or Market Sector Leaders, as required.

Proposal Manager:
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field + 8 years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for facility design-bid-build and design-build pursuits or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Senior Proposal Manager:
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field + 10 years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for facility design-bid-build and design-build pursuits and 2 years of leadership experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry.
A detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools.
A strong working knowledge of word processing programs (e.g., Microsoft Word), spreadsheet management (Excel), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), as well as desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), graphics programs (e.g., InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop).

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Proposal Manager or Senior Proposal Manager to join the West Region Marketing Team. The job includes leading large proposals and presentations, and supports from pre-RFP project positioning through to interview stage, as required.
This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and in-office, that can be based in, but not limited to: Saint Louis, MO; Austin, TX; Orange, CA; Sacramento, CA; Anchorage, AK.
Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for timely, compliant, accurate, and persuasive proposal development and leadership. Responsible for leading large, complex, priority must win pursuits from capture through to interview stage, as required. Understands capture planning best practice and provides robust support and guidance to capture managers in development of the win strategy.
Serves as coach for interview, Q&A and preparing team for global or must win opportunities.
Facilitates color reviews (Pink and Red team), and applies lessons learned to add value to proposal and win plan. Serves as a compliance reviewer and and reviewer on color reviews (pink and red teams) for priority pursuits, applying in-depth institutional knowledge.
Participates actively in Go/No-Go decisions, capture strategy development, and greenlight analyses, drives compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities, and provides leadership and direction, where required.
Analyzes debriefs and applies lessons learned to add value to strategy and reviews. Contributes to leadership and strategic direction for proposals for their account, and reports on client pipeline, internal business development strategies, capture planning, proposal efforts, and debriefs related to that client or market.
Is a subject matter expert for specific client/portfolio or sector. Actively supports marketing strategy and content development related to clients/markets, in collaboration with marketing communications, client account managers (CAMs) and business lines, as necessary.
May supervise small number of staff or serve as an active mentor to Bid Management Coordinators or Specialists. Supports content development for the website, brochures, and other digital media and thought leadership in collaboration with Client Account Managers (CAMs) or Market Sector Leaders, as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Proposal Manager:
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field + 8 years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for facility design-bid-build and design-build pursuits or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Senior Proposal Manager:
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field + 10 years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for facility design-bid-build and design-build pursuits and 2 years of leadership experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry.
A detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools.
A strong working knowledge of word processing programs (e.g., Microsoft Word), spreadsheet management (Excel), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), as well as desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), graphics programs (e.g., InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop).
A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
An understanding of CRM. Salesforce experience is a plus.
Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to full completion.
Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
Proven organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule, and lead deliverable efforts by others; and the proven ability to manage documents.
An ability to meet non-negotiable client deadlines, sometimes with very fast turnaround times.
Experience demonstrating leadership qualities.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $100,000.00 - $160,000.00.
