Job Description
AECOM has a need for a Human Resources Business Partner, Sr. Manager to support the West Region HR and Transportation teams.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of office and virtual/telecommute work schedules.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Partner with assigned client group(s), designing, and implementing plans that address hiring, retention, development, and engagement.
Compile business and employee perspective / insights in order to represent the business in HR strategy/program/policy development.
Providing support in all matters related to employee relations including performance management, code of conduct, fair employment practices, accommodations and all other application of local policies, work rules, procedures and applicable laws.
Analyze people metrics to identify trends and recommend courses of action; make people metrics visible routinely to drive leadership behavior and action.
Advise leaders and people managers on organizational effectiveness, talent management, performance and development so they can lead the organization to meet established business targets using best practice techniques and processes.
Leverage change management and organizational development tools to facilitate organizational redesigns, team integrations and new manager assimilations.
Facilitate the talent review process and create plans to develop and deploy our key talent and address succession gaps.
Ensure implementation of talent development, performance management, engagement and ED&I programs within client groups in order to become -a great place to work- company
In collaboration with Compensation team, ensure client group is able to attract, reward, and retain needed talent while ensuring internal pay equity.
Understand existing workforce and work with managers to anticipate program wins and losses to redeploy resources.
Work with Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers and Resource Directors to ensure a robust and efficient process that secures the key talent we need to manage the business.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree plus at least 8 years of related HR experience specifically with a mix of talent management, employee relations and HRBP roles or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience supporting Senior Business Line / Unit Leadership
Experience in US employment law, compliance, and managing sensitive investigations.
Experience with analyzing talent data to make fact-based HR decisions and proposals.
Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in AEC industry (architecture, engineering & construction), preferably Transportation focused, is strongly preferred.
Experience using Workday or similar platform as a human capital management solution.
HR certifications, such as PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SPC, Prosci, DiSC, ICF and/or other assessment or coaching certifications.
Experience supporting exempt workforce
Seen as a 'team player' with a consultative style and ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy in interactions with all levels of the organization in a matrixed team environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of making presentations to senior leadership, conducting training, and partnering with the AECOM HR team on special projects.
Excellent follow through skills and the ability to anticipate and address business needs proactively.
Ability to maintain perspective, balance, and focus through challenge, uncertainty and change.
Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Willingness to provide HR support for a variety of client groups with varying business goals and objectives in the US.

Relocation assistance and/or per diem is not offered for this position.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $90,000.00 - $130,000.00.
