The event kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm , where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You'll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.
On Friday, interviews will take place at our Raleigh office . This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting immediately and in Spring/Summer 2025.

We are seeking candidates for the following business lines:
Transportation: Structural Engineering related to transportation and transit structures (overpasses, bridges, etc.)
Buildings and Places : Structural Engineering related to buildings (commercial, educational, industrial, government)
Water: Structural Engineering related to water / waste-water infrastructure and systems.

AECOM is seeking a Hydrogeologist III to support AECOM's Remediation practice for complex sites. This is a hybrid role that is available anywhere in the United States near an AECOM office. The role will report to management located in Glen Allen, VA.
The ideal candidate for this role would be a fully qualified scientist that utilizes scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. The role requires general familiarity within a broad field of scientific knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other disciplines/fields.
The successful candidate will have the background to interpret and record data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance. The individual who occupies this position solves problems by use of combinations of standard procedures, modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments. They are also responsible for participating in planning required to achieve prescribed objectives.
The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to:
Conducts analysis and investigation work obtained from a variety of sources.
Performs inspections and tests to ensure compliance.
Participates in developing corrective measures and procedures. Formulates hypothesis, performs research and makes recommendations.
Perform data analysis, modeling, visualizations and interpretations to support complex remediation projects.
Manage workflows in technical computing, geodatabase, and relational database environments.
Evaluate remedy performance and support design and implementation of adaptive remedy approaches.
Support PFAS data analytics practice area.
Integrate data analysis, visualizations, findings, and interpretations into technical deliverables and reports.
Work with multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers
Comfortable working with a team toward a common goal, while working independently on individual tasks
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of this job, US citizenship is required

Master's Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field
5+ years working with data analysis, modeling, and visualization
Proficient with 3D volumetric modeling and visualization using Earth Volumetric Studio (EVS)
Proficient with 3D groundwater modeling and visualization using Groundwater Modeling System (GMS)
Proficient with integrated spatial analysis and visualization using ESRI ArcGIS Pro
Experience with data analysis and visualizations in a numeric computing environment.

The Risk Management Director in the construction industry is responsible for overseeing and implementing risk management strategies and policies to minimize the potential risks associated with construction projects. The Landscape Architecture and Urban Design portfolio in the New York City studio includes a broad range of urban-based, multidisciplinary public realm projects, such as plazas, streetscapes, parks, waterfronts, infrastructure, urban design plans, master-planning, green infrastructure, and ecological restoration.
In collaboration with design studio leadership, the candidate will work closely with project design teams and project landscape architects, managers and designers to design and assist in the execution of projects within the New York City metropolitan area, nationally and internationally. AECOM's Risk Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated Risk Management Analyst based out of the New York, NY office to implement project and program risk management processes and execute quantitative risk assessments. AECOM builds the future by investing, planning, designing, and constructing the world's critical infrastructure. From pre-feasibility to close-out, we support successful delivery of our client's projects and programs.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Review project documents and analyze project data, to develop risk profiles and risk registers for projects and programs,
Prepare and update the project risk registers; ensuring the quality, timeliness, and completeness of the information captured in the project risk register
Develop quantitative integrated cost and schedule risk models to support the informed decision making of a project and program,
Support facilitating cross functional risk workshops with project stakeholders including project, commercial, technical, and legal project professionals for asset classes including public transit, hospitality, healthcare, energy transmission and generation, water, and transportation.
Prepare interdisciplinary discussions to develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure risk mitigation strategies are effectively implemented.

Lead transportation planning assignments corridor studies, safety studies, Interchange Access Request (IAR) documentation and Transportation System Management and Operations (TSM&O) studies.
Coordinate with other technical disciplines including conceptual design, environmental management, traffic operations, right of way and others to develop recommendations for proposed improvements.
Prepare written reports and presentations of project findings that support Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies, Design projects, signal warrant analysis, and corridor retiming studies.
Develop small, medium, and large-scale microsimulation models in VISSIM.
Qualifications
Minimum:
BS in Civil Engineering or related field + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Professional Engineer
Extensive knowledge and experience with the development and calibration of models in VISSIM
Experience in dynamic traffic assignment and multi-resolution modeling in VISUM/VISSIM.
Experience in statistical analysis software (i.e. SPSS,R) and programming (i.e, VBA, C+, Python)
Hands-on experience in Safety analysis using software such as HSM, SPICE, ISATe, IHSMD, or similar applications.

Job Description
We are seeking candidates for the following business lines:
Transportation: Structural Engineering related to transportation and transit structures (overpasses, bridges, etc.)
Buildings and Places : Structural Engineering related to buildings (commercial, educational, industrial, government)
Water: Structural Engineering related to water / waste-water infrastructure and systems.

Qualifications

Candidates must be on track to graduate by June 2025 from a university / college pursuing a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Related engineering disciplines may be considered.

Education in reinforced concrete design.
Experience with Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, etc.
Additional Information
As a condition of employment, some roles may require travel and a Valid U.S. Driver's License.
Offered rates of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work locations.
