The System Quality & Reporting Team is seeking an experienced and passionate Software Quality Manager who will be responsible for driving our System Quality test products for iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS aimed at measuring, maintaining and reporting the quality of shipped features. We're looking for a highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results. Our team works in a fast-paced environment that relies heavily on strong communication and relationships with teams across Apple.
Key Qualifications
6+ years of Professional Experience as a Software Engineer or Software Quality Engineer.
2+ years of Management Experience.
Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, methodologies, and standard processes.
Proven success hiring, developing and building an inclusive team-based culture that strives towards best practices, measurable outcomes, and operational excellence.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams, management, and other organizations within Apple.
Superb analytical and problem solving skills, and a successful history delivering on objectives.
Strong leadership skills to work with cross functional partners and coordinate test efforts across multiple teams.
Experience with Data Analysis and Visualization Tools such as Tableau.
Proficiency with iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS or similar operating systems.
Description
As a Software Quality Manager on our team, you will be leading a team of highly skilled engineers, collaborating heavily with QA teams across Apple to understand their quality plans for existing features. Your team is in charge of identifying appropriate testing implementations processes and methodologies and messaging overall program quality to leadership at key milestones. As the owner and driver of key quality metric for functional and application areas, you will collaborate with other teams to drive qualification efforts, process results, draw meaningful conclusions and present impactful data to our leaders and cross functional teams at a regular cadence. Your vision, analytical and critical thinking skills will be needed to identify enhancements and instruments needed to ensure the user experience across the system meets the Apple Quality bar.
Education & Experience
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience with 6+ years of experience in relevant fields of engineering development, quality assurance or project management, and minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Manager.

Key Qualifications
6+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A or Commercial Finance in a high performance and high growth organization
Strong knowledge of Excel and modeling skills. Shown ability to distill complex decisions into simple but comprehensive financial models
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results to both senior leadership and large groups, representing Finance perspective to non-Finance business partners

FORECASTING: Develop Retail's weekly and quarterly demand forecast, segmented by product, country, segment, and channel Understand how variables such as historical performance, seasonality, promotions, and the macro/micro economic environment affect the current business trends Prepare a comprehensive forecast assumption analysis to present to Retail leadership and partners across the company STRATEGIC ANALYSIS: Provide strategic consultation and guidance on business proposals, promotional campaigns, sales programs and key financial decisions affecting the organization Present complex financial modeling in simplified form to Retail Leadership and senior finance executives, requiring excellent communication skills, a strong eye for business, and the ability to think fluidly during presentations ' 'BUSINESS PARTNERING: Build strong business partnerships across Retail Market Development, Retail Geo Leadership, WW Corporate Finance teams, WW Inventory Planning teams and more. The tvOS team is responsible for the underlying system that powers the Apple TV experience. If you're passionate about writing code and working with a world-class engineering team, come and work with us. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining test automation systems, related applications, databases and productivity tools in support of development of new products including: - Designing and developing scalable and maintainable advanced test automation systems, related applications, databases and productivity tools using appropriate SW design methodologies. - Developing web-based applications, iOS/MacOS applications and software-based solutions/tools. - Gathering requirements from HW engineering customers and develop SW features using sprint planning. - Collaborating with 3rd party developers to design web-development productivity tools and applications. - Working with lab and corporate database systems, big data processing, mining, plotting, and load balancing server nodes. - Working closely with RF Test Automation engineers to develop test automation build on-top-of test automation systems. - Dry-running, validating and releasing SW using continuous-integration / continuous deployment methodologies, and perform debug and validation of released SW with HW engineers. - Releasing and maintaining test automation systems, databases and productivity for use at multiple world-wide engineering labs and factory production environments associated with new product development. - Developing UI/UX for SW tools.

Description
As a CPU Performance Engineer with a focus on CPU micro-architecture, you will be part of a team that is pushing the boundaries of innovation in the area of branch prediction, code/data prefetchers, novel prediction schemes and CPU pipelines. With others you will seek out areas for improvement while collecting data and measurements that either confirm the idea or rule it out. You will collaborate with experienced CPU designers in micro-architecture and RTL to assess the feasibility of ideas through modeling, refine ideas and model correlation, and seed new ideas. The role requires the analysis of specific single-threaded and multi-threaded workloads across existing and new product categories to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. We collaborate as a larger CPU architecture and performance team to maintain and improve the simulation environment and look for ways to boost the productivity of the entire team.
Education & Experience
B.S. and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience. M.S. or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
